This is first episode of About Time Korean Drama, Michaela can see the lifespans on people’s body, and knows that she is going to die. But the her lifespan is fixed when she runs into Do Ha who gets anxiety disorder. She steals a kiss from him to pass the audition.
About Time Korean Drama Recap: Episode 1
Michaela sings while riding bus, and runs into a couple who survive after car accident at bridge. She tells the male that he shouldn’t yell at his wife, but tell her he loves her, after seeing he only has 1 minute and 42 seconds to live. The male doesn’t understand what she meant until he feels pain inside his gut. He thanks his wife for staying with him, and dies. Meanwhile, Michaela looks at her hand showing that she only has 167 days, 3 hours and 14 minutes to live, and is in tears.
Michaela tells Sung Hee that she is going to do the auditions when she is walking in the hall of hospital, and thinks she will past it, asking her to prepare meal. Then she visits her grandmother So Nyeo, and brings her lipstick. So Nyeo is very happy, and asks her to make her look young with makeup, reveals she got a new boyfriend. Michaela worries about her grandmother after seeing her boyfriend’s life is left only 69 days.
Sung Bin asks Do Ha to drive himself after Do Ha got the counseling from him. Meanwhile, Do Ha recalls a woman commits suicide after he came to hospital, when seeing pencils on Sung Bin’s desk. He hits Michaela when backing up his car, and scolds her for her careless. She doesn’t want to tangle with him, because she is busy. But he insists on sending her to the emergency room.
She asks him to give her a ride after getting first aid, but he refuses, and thinks he doesn’t have law duty to do that. She claims he still has moral duty to help her, and getting into his car. He is scared while she drives with high speed, and want to sue her for kidnapping. But she claims she has a racing license, and reveals she never had car accident for the past 10 years. He finds out her parking is perfect after they arrive the destination. But she takes away his car key because she is in a hurry.
She finds out she takes his keys, and tells herself not to leave any regret, when sitting in the powder room. Director asks for Wi Jin’s advise when the singer sings at the stage. He thinks she is too cliche, and reveals her judge isn’t important. Director smiles, but thinks he is a bastard. Wi Jin thinks Michaela’s performing is perfect after watching her acting at stage, but he says that her emotions are fake, and thinks she doesn’t have any dating experience, asking her to show it next time. But she cannot wait to next time, and runs to Do Ha, kissing him when he just looks for her, and steps into theater. He pushes her away when their lips touch together. Wi Jin praises her courage, but says that she failed to persuade him, and reveals he wants to see how she seduces Cha Ji Woon instead of kissing a stranger.
Do Ha scolds Michaela for getting molested while seeing her outside, but he is soft when seeing the tears in her eyes. Sung Hee asks Michaela what she will do next, she reveals she is going to next audition. Sung Hee asks her if the time really cannot change. Michaela says yes, and reveals the little girl died in other way after saved her from car accident.
Soo Bong shows up with concept of Audrey Hepburn when Do Ha is curious why Michaela kissed him with tears. He hands over a box with sapphire ring, and is proposal. But she rejects his proposal, and takes the ring, because he doesn’t have love on her. He yells at her, and thinks she lacks conscience.
Do Ha’s father Sun Moon asks him when he will get marry with Soo Bong, Soo Bong says that she will until she confirms something. Sun Moon asks Do Ha to catch Soo Bong’s heart instead of his useless musical company. But Do Ha reveals that he is going to get the investment of Sungrak Group to turn his company into profitable. Sun Moon says that he only wants to see the result. Do Ha’s older brother Do Bin reveals to him that Sungrak Group’s son Jang Chang likes activity after knowing his brother is going to meet him at Hainan. Do Ha goes crazy, and scolds his secretary Woo Jin, and asks how he goes out with Jang Chang since he is the person with anxiety disorder.

Michaela tells her mother that she is going to Hainan for work, and reveals they will pay it well. She hits her younger brother when he complains to his mother about the bean sprout soup, and asks for noodles. Woo Jin asks Do Ha if he wants to go with Jang Chang, and reveals he loves shark diving. Do Ha says he has to go since Chinese business is all about relationship.
Do Ha runs into drunk Michaela at swimming pool, and recalls she is the person kissing him. She reveals she is a musical actress, and sings for him. He asks her why her eyes are so sorrowful, and saves her from dropping into pool.
Do Ha breaks into restaurant, and introduce himself to Jang Chang when he is having dinner with friends. But Jang Chang refuses to shake hands with him because of his rash visiting. Just then Soo Bong shows up with a traditional Chinese clothes, and introduces Do Ha her fiance. Jang Chang shakes hands with him forwardly.
Do Ha runs into Michaela at yacht, but she pretends to forget it when he mentions she slept in his villa, and runs away when someone calls her. Everybody is back after diving except Do Ha, Michaela has to jump into sea to look for him, and sees her time is stopped by him. She is stunned that the time is fixed again after waking up, when he comes to her room in the morning.
