This is the recap of Go Go Squid! Chinese Drama 2019 Episode 2, Tong Nian isn’t happy as Shang Yan didn’t visit the internet cafe. Dou Nan comes up with the idea while seeing the CCTV. He tells her that he can get Shang Yan through the game, and she knows Shang Yan’s nickname is grunt.

Shang Yan leaves while seeing Wang Hao. Wang Hao asks Xiao Mi to join his team, but Xiao Mi says that he will rejects him as he has rejected Shang Yan. Wang Hao shares that Ai Qing joined them.
Half a year ago.
Wang Hao picks Ai Qing up at the airport, and she is in tear. He doesn’t expect that she would join to be the leader of SP Team. She says that she misses the time when she is a player, even if she earned some money. Ai Qing thinks the past won’t be changed, and wants to get back Xiao Mi and Ou Qiang, leading them to their glorious time. Wang Hao walks to Ai Qing and lifts his fist. She hits his fist, and they have an embrace.
Wang Hao tells Xiao Mi that Ai Qing will be happy to see his signing. But Xiao Mi mentions Shang Yan invited him. Wang Hao reminds Xiao Mi that it’s last chance for him, and asks him if he wants to be champion. Xiao Mi agrees to join Wang Hao as he is the first team leader of him.
Wang Hao forces to walk into Shang Yan’s room, and thinks he should visit him if he knew Shang Yan took KK team to Singapore. Shang Yan tells Wang Hao to speak proper business, and Wang Hao shares that Xiao Mi agreed to join him.
Shang Yan thinks Wang Hao is showing off. But Wang Hao says that he doesn’t need to do that as Shang Yan is the most shining star. Wang Hao promises to train Xiao Mi, and Shang Yan claims he will respect Xiao Mi’s choice. Wang Hao promises to take care of Xiao Mi.
Shang Yan turns around and asks Wang Hao to leave. Wang Hao mentions Ai Qing was happy to see Shang Yan, and thinks Shang Yan would make same choice if he was in his situation.
Shang Yan remembers Wang Hao told people that they’re national championships, and bowed. The reporters went to interview Shang Yan, but Shang Yan announced to quit solo team.
Wang Hao held the trophy and told Shang Yan not to be impulse. Shang Yan yelled at Wang Hao that the person will quit since he said that the world is so beautiful and future can be expected.

Ai Qing told Shang Yan to consult after victory banquet, but he was furious to leave. Ou Qiang yelled why they gave up the world champion in the banquet. Xiao Mi shared that he will go home.
Wang Hao told Xiao Mi not to follow Shang Yan. Xiao Mi yelled that it lost the meaning when the team is lack of a person. Shan Yan showed up, and Ai Qing yelled at him why he didn’t pick up her phone.
Shang Yan grabbed Wang Hao’s collar and beat him. Shang Yan told Wang Hao to look at the members, and asked him if he is worthy of them. Wang Hao reminded Shang Yan their dream of the world champion.
Shang Yan told Wang Hao not to talk about the dream, and walked away. Wang Hao yelled at Shang Yan’s back and cries out.
Wang Hao found Shang Yan at the airport, and gave the money to him. Shang Yan told Wang Hao not to be the team leader of any team as he ruined each person. Wang Hao promised not to be the team leader all his life.
Shang Yan looks at mirror and doesn’t know how to forgive Wang Hao after many years. Ou Qiang talks about Shang Yan with Xiao Mi. Shang Yan shows up and has a drink with them, telling them to visit him if they need help.

The old lady thinks Shang Yan familiar, and Xiao Mi shares that the man is his best brother. He tells her that he will return with champion trophy.
Tong Nian isn’t happy as Shang Yan didn’t visit the internet cafe. Dou Nan comes up with the idea while seeing the CCTV. He tells her that he can get Shang Yan through the game, and she knows Shang Yan’s nickname is grunt.
But the account belongs to Shen Zhe. Dou Nan send the invitation to grunt. Grunt adds him as friend, but he sends him to the opponent camp. Dou Nan gets Dong Nian’s role Hangsome Man to die, and Shen Zhe tells members not to add Handsome Man before he goes to take passport.
Dong Nian notes that grunt is offline, and tells Dou Nan to stay away from her when he keeps telling her the game is very simple. She finds out grunt played by Shang Yan is online, and asks not to be enemy.
Shang Yan agrees, but thinks Tong Nian is the kid who is using her parent’s account. He tells her to avoid the door until the game is over. Wu Bai wonders why Shang Yan not to register an account. Shang Yan says that they don’t have any position if he registers, and asks Wu Bai to add Handsome Man.
