Li Chengyin takes wolf king returning Dan Chi, and Tie Daer admits that it’s the real wolf king. Qu Xiaofeng finds out Li Chengyin’s leg is injured and worries about it. Tie Daer agrees to marry Qu Xiaofeng to Li Chengyin if he can stay at Dan Chi for her. But Yi Moyan suspects Li Chengyin killed wolf king being a tea merchant. Tie Daer agrees to test Yi Chengyin.
Qu Xiaofeng asks the doctor to cure Li Chengyin’s wound, and the bone gets exposed. He Shi guesses that Li Chengyin fought with wolf king by his life. Li Chengyin remembers he rode the horse and avoids the chasing of wolf group. He found the trace of wolf king in the forest, and kills him.
Qu Xiaofeng sees Li Chengyin’s wound and is moved to tear up. Tie Daer throws dinner for Li Chengyin, and Yi Moyan offers to let Li Chengyin challenge He Shi. Li Chengyin agrees to shoot bats. Tie Der troubles Li Chengyin by giving him a large bow. He thinks he cannot defeat the best warrior of Dan Chi. But Li Chengyin wins and asks to marry Qu Xiaofeng.
Tie Daer frowns and calls Li Chengyin into the tent. He points the blade to him, and says that he knows that he comes from Gu family. Li Chengyin admits it and lies that he concealed his name to avoid the killer. Tie Daer and Gu Ruhui are good friends, so he decides to marry Qu Xiaofeng to Li Chengyin.
In the evening, Qu Xiaofeng takes Li Chengyin to go outside. They stare at each other under the stars. He teaches her the wedding ceremony of Zhong Yuan, and she wants to travel to there when he mentions the beautiful views.
The next day, Qu Xiaofeng and Li Chengyin say goodbye to Tie Daer. But Tie Daer asks them to get the wedding first before leaving. Gu Jian doesn’t allow her to marry Li Chengyin. But Qu Xiaofeng disagrees. So he takes her to leave. But Li Chengyin stops Gu Jian. Gu Jian has a talk with Li Chengyin, and thinks what he does will hurt Qu Xiaofeng. But Li Chengyin made the decision.
Goodbye My Princess Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 8
Tie Daer sends the wedding message to Qu Wencheng. Qu Wencheng is furious because he has been blinded when his daughter is going to get married. The envoy of Li Chao, An Guogong visits and blames Qu Wencheng for marrying daughter in private. Qu Wencheng apologizes to An Guogong. But An Guogong leaves with temper. Qu Wencheng is afraid of offending Li Chao.
Qu Xiaofeng is in love with Li Chengyin, and doesn’t suspect him. Empress Zhang fears Li Chengye gains more power, and Li Chengyin doesn’t have hope to get the throne. Gao Yuming thinks Li Chengyin just doesn’t have a race for power, but he isn’t dumb.
Li Chengyin is absent of the meeting because he is at Dan Chi. So Li Chengye decides to attack Dan Chi during the wedding, and swears to get Tie Daer’s head, giving to emperor. The wedding date is coming, and the people of Dan Chi are relaxed.
Qu Xiaofeng smiles to walk Li Chengyin on the flower path, and Tie Daer is pleased to watch them. He doesn’t know their tribe is going to get ruined. Shuo Bo unites Li Chao to attack Dan Chi, and Tie Daer asks He Shi to fight with enemies. Li Chengyin spots the people are familiar, and realizes Li Chao attacks in advance.
Li Chengyin asks for fighting with enemies, and Tie Daer doesn’t suspect him. He doesn’t expect the young man will ruin Dan Chi. Qu Xiaofeng worries about Li Chengyin, but Tui Daer comforts her that he won’t be danger because the master tent is at there.
Li Chengyin follows He Shi and Yi Moyan arriving at the battlefield, and sees Shuo Bo and Li Chao’s armies. He rides to Pei Zhao. He Shi worries that Li Chengyin will get attacked. But Li Chengyin doesn’t get any blocking, and gets the helmet from Pei Zhao. Yi Moyan realizes that Li Chengyin is a spy.
