This is the recap for Chinese drama 2020 Intense Love: Episode 5. Big Brother calls Shi Yun and asks if Jin Bei will come. Shi Yun tells Big Brother to get Aunt Song to clean the room for Jin Bei.
Intense Love: Episode 5 Recap
Note: From here on out there are specific plot spoilers for Chinese drama Intense Love: Episode 5.
Jin Bei waits for the message of Shi Yun, and thinks she will lose if she texts first. She prays him to text her.
The next day, Jin Bei wakes up and finds out that she’s late. She texts Shi Yun that she will come, but the phone is broken.
Jin Bei drives to see Shi Yun but he has left. She goes shopping and thinks she should treat herself better. Di Di tells Jin Bei to call Shi Yun. But Jin Bei thinks it’s useless since he has left.
Jin Bei keeps eating high-calorie foods and thinks men are unreliable. She returns home and sees Shi Yun waiting for her.
Jin Bei thrills to run to Shi Yun, and asks him why he’s there. He tells her that he has waited for her all the afternoon.
Jin Bei packs her stuff and gets in Shi Yun’s car. She asks him to wear the seat belt, and claims that her safety is defended by him since she’s in his car.
Jin Bei falls asleep so that Shi Yun wears his suit on her. She wakes up, and he takes her to buy grandma peach blossom crisp. Jin Bei likes the rose sugar in the store, and Shi Yun tells the seller to pack the rose sugar.

Someone rides bicycle passing by, and Shi Yun hugs Jin Bei to avoid the hitting. She shows the tiger doll to him and asks him if he likes it.
Shi Yun is silence. Jin Bei mistakes him liking the tiger doll, and she gives it to him.
Shi Yun takes Jin Bei to see Big Brother. She wonders why the Big Brother sits on the wheelchair, and Shi Yun explains that Big Brother’s body is a little weak.
The two go to see grandma, and the sister’s happy to hug Shi Yun. Jin Bei gives the peach blossom crisp to Grandma, and Grandma likes it.

Sister notes that Shi Yun takes the rose sugar, and he asks for it. But he tells her that he intends to give it to Jin Bei.
Sister blames Shi Yun since he knows that she likes rose sugar. Grandma scolds Sister as Jin Bei is a guest. Shi Yun tells Jin Bei that the girl is her younger sister Su Ying. She thinks the girl is cute.
Jin Bei shares the rose sugar with Shi Yun. Su Ying passes by and spots it. She gets angry. Shi Yun goes out and tells Jin Bei not to bring trouble. Su Ying sees off Shi Yun and she smiles.

Su Ying tells Grandma that she worries about Shi Yun getting cheated by Jin Bei as she is a actress. The servant reports that Aunt Song cut her finger while cooking. Su Ying offers to get Shi Yun to cook. Grandma agrees to it but she doesn’t know Shi Yun has left.
Su Ying asks Jin Bei to aid her to cook, but she leaves for the seasoner. Jin Bei doesn’t know how to cook, and she finds some meats in the fridge. So she asks Di Di for some recipes, and she cooks the meats.
Jin Bei tells people to have meal, but Grandma is unhappy. Su Ying tells Jin Bei that the meats are oblations, and thinks she should ask her first before cooking them.
“Intense Love” airs on Saturdays and Sundays at 8 p.m.
