Xiao Yi picks two cups and asks the shop owner how much is the cup. He says 35. She asks to lower price to 80 for two cups. He laughs and thinks she is helping them rise price. Guan Chao says that Qiao Yi got a appendectomy, and the doctor took out her brain. Qiao Yi pinches her brother’s arm.
Qiao Yi returns home and complains to Yan Mo (Emperor) that Guan Chao (Bitch) bullied her (Concubine), and asks him to take the justice for her. He says that he will bully back for his concubine, and wins Guan Chao in the video game. Yan Mo returns and asks Concubine if she is satisfied.
Qiao Yi says that she is too satisfied and puts a cherry into his mouth. She smiles at Guan Chao. Qiao Yi says that she knew Yan Mo for 13 years, and he was evil to her. She says that his eyes shot cold arrows when he stared at her. He feels sorry as he didn’t expect the girl sat next to him was his wife.
2006 Nanchuan.
People talk that Yan Mo got first, Guan Chao got second. They wonder who is Qiao Yi getting last one, and think she cheated. Qiao Yi passes by and claims that she didn’t cheat. She says that Guan Chao hit Miao Miao, so he cast a note to her in the exam. But it dropped on Qiao Yi’s foot. When she was going to pick it up, the teacher arrives. Qiao Yi doesn’t know if it was answer or love letter inside.
There was a abnormal rule that the seats are according to the scores. If it wasn’t because of cheating, Qiao Yi and Yan Mo’s story wouldn’t begin. Qiao Yi walks in the classroom and thinks there are four seats leaving. But the fat classmate reminds her that there is a special seat for him. So there are only three seats.
The first candidate, Big Master. He never washes his head, his hormone is rich, and wrote poem for girls of class. “Baby! I will sprinkle my blood on your grave. Let’s walk through the road of afterlife.” The girl is scared to walk away, but he thinks she is moved.
The second candidate, Da Chuan. He was fired because of hitting teacher. The third candidate, Yan Mo, the sweetheart of teachers because he always gets first. He owns the privilege to seat alone, but he never talks to Qiao Yi. The fat classmate asks Qiao Yi if she decided. She rushes to Yan Mo and sits next to him.
It makes the classmates stare at her. Qiao Yi notes that Yan Mo is listening to the music, and asks if it’s Zhou Jielun. But he says the beatles. It makes classmates laugh. Qiao Yi is awkward to bite her thumb. Guan Chao thinks Qiao Yi shouldn’t sit with Yan Mo. But she blames him for didn’t leave seat for her.
He says that he won’t leave seat for girl as she doesn’t want to give up the forest for a leaf. She asks him if she is his younger sister, but he says no and thinks she was picked up. She grabs his hair but begs him. He says no. She says that she didn’t say. So he asks her to say. She asks him to sign on her test paper that teacher wrote cheating, and threatens to tell that he handed over note to Miao Miao.
He says that he will sign like their mother. She thinks he is nice. Qiao Yi tells that she and Guan Chao has lived together since childhood. They lived hard and happy because their parents got divorced. When mom wasn’t there, they took care of each other and knew what is living with life. Mom is a tough woman and does sewing clothing job.
Qiao Yi’s money is spent on CD of Zhou Jielun. She likes him except Guan Chao and Mom. Guan Chao will give a CD of Zhou Jielun each year in her birthday. She wonders where his money comes from.
Mom finds the test paper. Guan Chao explains that Qiao Yi asked her so he did it. He admits his mistake and asks for punishment. Qiao Yi says that she didn’t cheat. But Guan Chao thinks she conceals it. Mom says that she will punish both. The stepfather Wei Ming appears, Qiao Yi introduces him as angel. He is happy to tell his wife that he got eggs.
She tells him the kid’s sins, and he treats it as a case of stealing intellectual property. He thinks he has no face to see people as a cop since his daughter committed a crime. He tells her to be the last one, but Qiao Yi thinks she should have desire to do better. Wei Min scolds Guan Chao when he laughs. He thinks it’s crime as well, and points out Guan Chao’s handwriting is lack of vicissitude.
But Mom asks her husband to get to the point. So he asks the kids to skip the meals. But Mom places dishes on the table and thinks they should have meal. The next day, Qiao Yi finds out she got 60 score in the classroom, and asks about Yan Mo. He conceals it as he only get 70 score.

But he calls Miao Miao right away, and tells her that his sister just tripped at the playground. Qiao Yi and Wu Yi looks for the cats was just born in the bush. The man looks for Guan Chao’s younger sister, and points at Qiao Yi’s head, telling her that her older brother bullied his younger sister.
Wu Yi stops him and asks him to slap her. But he says that he doesn’t hit women, and pokes Qiao Yi’s head. She cries and mentions he didn’t hit women. He says it’s poke. The girls yells for teacher. But he says that nobody will hear it. Da Chuan shows up with a ball and points out that there’re security cameras in the school.
Da Xiong says that he won’t bully less with more, and leaves with his men. Qiao Yi and Wu Yi think Da Chuan is nice, and want to walk away. But Da Chuan stops them, and will see him taking some cashes. The girl’s pockets are empty. Wu Yi thinks they should report it to teacher. But Qiao Yi thinks he will return it since he said to borrow it.
Wu Yi thinks Qiao Yi is silly and doesn’t believe Da Chuan will return it to them. Yan Mo asks Qiao Yi to team up in the physical experiment. Qiao Yi agrees. Wu Yi yells at Qiao Yi that she promised to team up with her. She wants Guan Chao to pay it back since he is Qiao Yi’s older brother.
The teacher tells that the experiment is about motor. Guan Chao slaps Wu Yi head. She turns around and isn’t sure who did it. Qiao Yi wants to help Yan Mo. But he tells her to do nothing. She thinks she is just a decoration. He remembers the teacher told him the meaning of experiment is to tell him how to cooperate with someone else.
Yan Mo tells Qiao Yi that he was just lack of a team member. She thinks he doesn’t know any classmate in the classroom, and asks him who is Yang Ping. He is silence. She says that there isn’t a classmate called Yang Ping in the classroom. The teacher asks to give reports tomorrow. Yan Mo completes the report and asks Qiao Yi to sign it.
Qiao Yi wants to take the report home as she wants to study it. He tells her to give it to him tomorrow. She takes out the coke and asks him if he wants to drink it. He says that he only drink water. Wu Yi takes Qiao Yi to look for cats, and they spot Yan Mo giving money to Da Chuan. Meanwhile the can fall, and the coke messed Yan Mo’s report.
Qiao Yi returns and finds the messed report. Yan Mo shows up and spots it. He leaves with temper. Qiao Yi begs Guan Chao to help her do the experiment. But he says that he helped her to get the key of experiment room, and he needs to go for the date. He actually fixes the computer at the internet cafe.
Yan Mo walks in the lab and spots Qiao Yi doing the experiment. She asks him to help her, but he asks her to operate instead. She doesn’t know how to do, so he guides her. After the experiment, Qiao Yi wants to bring the breakfast for Yan Mo tomorrow. Da Chuan reminds Yan Mo the consequence of making him wait for him.
Qiao Yi offers to run away together. But Yan Mo tells her to complete the report, and he leaves with Da Chuan. Mom spots Qiao Yi still doing homework, and thinks it’s not her style. Guan Chao thinks his sister is writing the self-criticism. Mom takes away his apple and claims it needs to be washed.
Yan Mo is doing the puzzle, and gets a call from his mom. She asks him if he gets bullied. Da Chuan takes the phone and tells his older sister that nobody dares to bully Yan Mo when he is there. He asks Yan Mo for 100 yuan, and complains that his father made Yan Mo keep his money. He offers to sleep in the couch tonight, but Yan Mo says that it’s lord’s place. The lord is the dog.
Qiao Yi asks Yan Mo if Da Chuan asked him for money yesterday. But he asks for the report instead. Yan Mo gives the report to Teacher, and asks why he only got 70 score last time. Teacher says that the homework only takes 70%. Yan Mo realizes that 70 score is the full mark, and remembers Qiao Yi was happy to pass. He thinks she is a fool.
Teacher explains that Qiao Yi didn’t want involve Yan Mo, so she asked for doing experiment again. The girl thinks Qiao Yi copied Guan Chao’s report.
“Smart kid will tell that she slept at 8 pm no matter how late she studied. She actually fears that people knows her effort even if she is a fool. Every time she tries, she will get mocked that she overestimated herself. So it’s hard to tell about doing better. Fool has her own way of survival, just pretending not to know.”
Qiao Yi admits that she couldn’t do it. Yan Mo asks Qiao Yi to sign the report as the report was done by Qiao Yi. Miao Miao tells him not to team up with Qiao Yi. But Yan Mo asks Qiao Yi who is Miao Miao. Qiao Yi find the money Da Chuan returned from the drawer, and she smiles at his seat.
“Some bias will be changed by time, some don’t. We misunderstand someone else, and get misunderstood at the same time. The guy looks fierce but has a good heart. Smart person actually tries hard behind. The guy looks cold has a side of warm. The most stupid person thought of study hard. It seen by eyes isn’t truth, because truth needs time to prove.”
Yan Mo takes blanket to show up and stares at Da Chuan. Da Chuan is happy to get up. But Yan Mo wears it on the dog because he accompanied him when his parents weren’t there. Da Chuan robs the blanket from Lord, but he returns it to him.
