Qiao Yi returns home and tells Yan Mo that her best friend got dumped, so she went to accompany her. She says that she was lucky to meet him. He says that he is moved, but he says that he won’t forgive her as she returned home after 2 am. He tells her to drink the drinks he prepared.
2006
Teacher Gao tells President Chen that his students wouldn’t steal the stamp. But President Chen checked the security camera, and says that Da Chuan, Qiao Yi and Wu Yi stole it.
Wu Yi says that President Chen left them to clean up school because of their bad scores, so they decided to give him a lesson.
President Chen tells the students that he just gives them a chance to make up their faults when they’re cleaning the office. The man bring the false teeth to President Chen and thinks it will be shiny. President Chen puts the false teeth into his drawer.
Da Chuan offers to steal president’s false teeth and needs a person who has courage and wisdom to go with him. The girls don’t want to join, so he asks them to guess how many toes he has. Qiao Yi says 5. So he chooses her.
Da Chuan pretends to be a deliveryman and asks President Chen to go out getting the express. So he and Qiao Yi sneak into president’s office. But they finds out it’s stamp.
Teacher Gao tells President Chen to forgive the students since they stole first time. But President Chen wants to dismiss them. Qiao Yi tells that they just wanted to steak his false teeth. Wu Yi adds that the false teeth hit her soul, and they wanted to get the same to Teacher Gao.
Yan Mo walks in and tells President Chen that he is Da Chuan’s parents. Da Chuan thinks Yan Mo didn’t respect him and reveals he is Yan Mo’s uncle. President Chen asks Da Chuan what to do. Da Chuan thinks President Chen forced them to do it, and claims they’re not slave. He tells him that they cannot accept to get dismissed.
President Chen smiles and says that it’s fine. But Teacher Gao’s hands tremble when getting the water. Da Chuan has a seat himself and offers to get rid of debts if their scores get improve. President Chen is furious to ask Da Chuan to stand up, but agrees to cancel their debts if they get in the 100th.
Da Chuan thinks it’s not a problem. Qiao Yi and Wu Yi are scared to stop Da Chuan. Yan Mo points out there are 739 students in the school. Teacher Gao thinks it’s impossible to get in the 100th to the three students, and offers to boost 100. The students thank President Chen when he is drinking tea, and flee away.
Wu Yi tells Qiao Yi that her mom hired a private tutor for her. Qiao Yi thinks she is doomed. Wu Yi thinks Qiao Yi can ask Guan Chao a favor. But Qiao Yi prefers to get dismissed. She reminds Da Chuan that he has a nephew Yan Mo. He says that he didn’t think of it, and Yan Mo is a person who likes to help people.
Da Chuan kidnaps Lord, and Qiao Yi asks Yan Mo to be tutorial for them. Yan Mo rejects it. Da Chuan threatens to stew Lord. Yan Mo says that he will stew them. Qiao Yi asks Da Chuan to release Lord. Yan Mo says that he will be tutorial for them in the weekends, and tells them to take off their shoes.
The tutor visits Wu Yi but he wears sunglasses. She thinks they met once, and takes off his sunglasses. She recognizes him who bullied her, and mentions the tutor is the third. He tells her that his classmate is getting appendectomy, so he replaced him. He says that his score is suck, and he does it because he owed debt. She asks him where he was planning to go. He says bar.
Wu Yi says, “The lead roles of romantic novel always part on bad terms, but the fate makes them meet again. If the guy fights with you, but he appears in front of you. He must be your hero.”
Da Xiong takes Wu Yi to the bar and tells her that the people get same card can play game on the stage. Wu Ji gets a J. Da Xiong gets a A. She asks him what he gets. But he says that it’s a secret.
Wu Yi says that hero and heroine have all kind of methods to kiss in the novel, falling from wall kissing, hitting kissing, sleepwalking kissing.
Guan Chao is going to leave after work. The bar owner asks Guan Chao to take out a card as there is a game. Guan Chao spots Wu Yi staying with Da Xiong. Da Xiong’s friend asks Wu Yi to drink with him. But she rejects him as he isn’t handsome. The man wants to him her. Da Xiong stops his friend.
Guan Chao wants to take Wu Yi away and tells Da Xiong that Wu Yi is his friend. Da Xiong calls his men to hit Guan Chao because he bullied his younger sister. Guan Chao takes Wu Yi to flee out, and hide themselves under the stairs. Wu Yi lets Guan Chao’s palm away from her mouth, and asks him why he took her to flee.
He asks her if she wants to accept the fists for him. She thinks he treats her as sandbag, and reveals she came with the tutor. He asks her where is the tutor. She says that he is the one who chases Guan Chao. Guan Chao thinks Da Xiong only can teach Wu Yi drinking. She asks him to compensate her.
He accepts it and stares at her eyes. She is panic to ask why he is nice to her suddenly. He asks for double price she paid to Da Xiong. She hits him and tells that she is Qiao Yi’s best friend. He says that it’s because she and Qiao Yi’s friendship is stronger than gold, and the gold means RMB.
She asks him if Qiao Yi and him are siblings, he tells her that Qiao Yi was picked up. She doesn’t allow him to talk about Qiao Yi. Da Chuan starves, and Qiao Yi wants to cook for them and thanks Yan Mo for making up the missed lessons. Yan Mo rejects it as it’s forbidden to be lampblack in his house.
Qiao Yi thinks Yan Mo is the hardest person to get along in the world, and knows Da Chuan’s bitter. But she spots Yan Mo staring at them, and Da Chuan thinks Yan Mo will poison in the food.
Yan Mo says that he knows he has been hard to get long with since childhood, and it doesn’t stipulate that everyone should be easy to get along with.

Da Chuan wants to walk Qiao Yi home as there is a stalker. But she reminds him that he has two test papers to complete. So he asks Yan Mo to walk her.
She says that her home is nearby. Yan Mo remembers Teacher Gao told Yan Mo not to affect his study when he heard Yan Mo was tutoring Qiao Yi. But Yan Mo thought Qiao Yi had good study base. Wu Yi wonders why Guan Chao skipped the answer from first step to fifth step, and she doesn’t understand it.
He says that she only paid 200 yuan, and he will give her the rest if she pays 500 yuan. She has to pay full. Yan Mo spots Qiao Yi falling asleep, and he is lost. She leans her head on him, and is panic to move away. She falls and wakes up, and decides to go home. She walks alone and notices someone is following her. She is startled when Yan Mo is standing in front of her. The guy walks away when seeing Yan Mo.
Qiao Yi asks Yan Mo why he is there. He says that he is walking dog. She asks him if he walks dog like that when he hugs dog and walks her. He says that Lord has kidney stones, and he is 70 old according to human’s age. She realizes this is why the dog called Lord. He denies and reveals Lord’s nature is like his grandpa.
She asks him if he has any friend. He says that Lord is his friend. She tells him that making friend is simple, and he only needs to take the food he likes to his friend. But he thinks it’s too troublesome. She tells him not to dislike the troublesome of friend, and thinks he is her friend since they walked home. She smiles at him when he is walking away.
The next day, Qiao Yi visits Yan Mo and is surprised that Da Chuan isn’t there. She asks Yan Mo if she stepped forward. But he points out that she doesn’t have space to step back since she is the last one. He asks her to do the last test paper since it’s monthly examination tomorrow. Guan Chao takes Wu Yi to play game as he thinks she needs to get relaxed before the examination.
But he fixes the computer in the internet cafe, and asks Wu Yi to hand over the screwdriver to him. She is furious and thinks he took her to play game. But he says that the point is to get relaxed, and asks her if she studied the questions he bet. Wu Yi wants to ask Qiao Yi since Yan Mo tutored her, and thinks Yan Mo is first and Guan Chao is second.
Guan Chao says that he will take Yan Mo down if he is serious. Wu Yi asks Da Chuan if he is confident of success before the exam. He says that he doesn’t, and takes out Yan Mo’s photo to worship, calling him as the God of Exam. Qiao Yi asks Wu Yi to join them to worship. Wu Yi says that she needs to go to restroom, but worship Guan Chao’s photo at another place.
After exam, Yan Mo waits for Qiao Yi and prepares coke for her. She has feelings when he opens can for her. We find out Wu Yi and Guan Chao got same J card. Yan Mo finds the letter Qiao Yi left, and she says that she left a present to him. He spots the watch drawing on his wrist, and he smiles. But he thinks she is childish.
