Love and Destiny Chinese Drama 2019 Recap: Episode 1

Ling Xi wakes up from a dream of the battle of Gods and Devils, and finds her father Le Bo in the pot. She tells him that she dreamt War God killed many people. Le Bo wants Cheng Yan to give the pill to Liu Yun, and asks Ling Xi to give it to Cheng Yan.
Le Bo reminds Ling Xi not to go anywhere. Ling Xi summons Cheng Yan but he isn’t there, so she decides to visit Liu Yun on her own. Ling Xi arrives at South Gate, but the guard stops her because she doesn’t have an invitation card. She touches the tree, and it begins to wither. The two guards go to check the condition.
Ling Xi turns into a bird and flies into South Gate. She wonders who is Tian Lei when immortals talk about him. Yun Feng says that Tian Lei is black and ugly. Ling Yi recognizes Tian Lei and is shocked that he wants to be War God.
Ling Xi (Ni Ni – The Rise of Phoenixes) spots the guards who are looking for her, and she gives the pill to Yun Feng as she thinks he knows Liu Yun. She flies away, and Yun Feng wonders how she got in. The guards make Ling Xi fall with their immortal powers.
The guard thinks Ling Xi flees into the Cold Palace, and another guard points out it’s a big sin. Tian Lei is accepting the thunders and thinks he can since Jiu Chen did it. Liu Yun watches Tian Lei and shares Jiu Chen returned after just half of tea time.
Ling Xi finds the frozen man Jiu Chen in the Cold Palace, and takes away the immortality knot from him. She wipes off the ice, and spirit power gets in Jiu Chen’s body from immortality knot. Jiu Cheng wakes up, and Ling Xi is scared to flee.
Jiu Cheng summons his sword, and the sword flies away from the tower. Tian Lei is going to accept the ninth thunder, but the monster Heaven Eater appears. Yun Feng thinks Heaven Eater was sealed, and wants to fight with him.

But Tian Lei tells immortals to stay away, and thinks he is enough to deal with Heaven Eater. Kunwu sword appears when Tian Lei is fighting with Heaven Eater. Heaven Eater flees away, and Tian Lei goes to chase him. Jiu Chen catches Kunwu sword in the Cold Palace.
Ling Xi spots Heaven Eater following her, and the immortals chase her. She falls after hitting the rock, and Heaven Eater gets her on his back. Tian Lei thinks Ling Xi is the partner of Heaven Eater, and his men catch her. When Tian Lei is fighting with Heaven Eater, Jiu Chen shows up and defeats Heaven Eater.
Qing Yao returns and ties up Cheng Yan on the tree. She tells Le Bo that Ling Xi broke into immortality sea and got arrested by immortals of Heaven Court. Jiu Chen bows to Heavenly Emperor, and Heavenly Emperor is happy to see Jiu Cheng’s return.
Heavenly Emperor asks Tian Lei if he needs a doctor since he got eight thunders and fought with Heaven Eater. But Yun Feng points out that Tian Lei would get killed if Jiu Chen didn’t arrive. Tian Lei asks his men to bring Ling Xi up.
Ling Xi doesn’t want to involve her family and is ready to accept the punishment. Tian Lei thinks Ling Xi is related to demon clan since she is close to Heaven Eater. She talks back that Tian Lei takes revenge on her because he couldn’t defeat Heaven Eater.
Heavenly Emperor asks Ling Xi if she stepped in Cold Palace. She glances at Jiu Chen and denies. Tian Lei asks Heavenly Emperor to give Ling Xi to him, and he wants to interrogate her. Le Bo shows up with Qing Yao, and tells Heavenly Emperor that Ling Xi is his daughter.
Tian Lei shares that Ling Xi broke into Heaven Court without invitation card. Le Bo questions if Ling Xi needs to get interrogated since she just took a look. Heavenly Emperor promises not to punish Ling Xi, and Le Bo gets Ling Xi to thank Heavenly Emperor.
But Tian Lei mentions immortals saw Ling Xi being close to Heaven Eater. Le Bo thinks his daughter is pretty so Heaven Eater was close to her, and blames Tian Lei for his guard since Ling Yi passed South Gate with her weak spirit power.
Le Bo thinks Jiu Chen wouldn’t let it happen if he is alive. Ling Xi stops Le Bo, and Jiu Chen greets Le Bo. Le Bo is surprised to see Jiu Chen, and wants to check his body. Ling Xi stops her father, and Le Bo asks Heavenly Emperor to allow him taking Ling Xi to peach trees.
But Jiu Chen asks to get Ling Xi staying with him. Le Bo tells Heavenly Emperor that Ling Yi won’t to be the follower, so Heavenly Emperor asks Ling Yi for her idea. Ling Xi agrees with it.
