Love in Sadness Korean Drama Recap: Episode 7

Ma-Ri flees to the bus stop and worries that In-Wook knew she is alive. In-Wook and Cheol-Young arrive at the clothing shop. Cheol-Young shows the clothes to the shop owner and asks for the customer list. She threatens her that she will be in bigger trouble.
Cheol-Young tells In-Wook that it’s a limited edition dress, and there are 30 purchasers. He mistakes the woman as Ma-Ri in the street. He calls Woo-Sun. Ma-Ri spots In-Wook talking with Woo-Sun. Woo-Sun says that she will inform In-Wook when Ma-Ri calls her.
Ma-Ri is scared to flee, but In-Wook follows her. Cheol-Young hits Ma-Ri, and her wallet drops. He picks it up and gives it to Ma-Ri. Jung-Won, Hae-Ra and Sung-Ho drink in the bar. Hae-Ra wonders why it is so hard for the three of them to get together. Sung-Ho thinks it’s because Jung-Won is busy.
But Hae-Ra thinks it is because of Sung-Ho’s busy schedule, and asks him to say that he doesn’t need the surgery. Sung-Ho thinks Hae-Ra likes Jung-Won as she always takes his side. She explains that they grew up like brother and sister. But Sung-Ho thinks she treats Jung-Won as a man. She laughs and complains that Jung-Won only cares about his wife even when she’s dead.
Sung-Ho asks Jung-Won if he recently did surgery on someone without telling him, and wonders who is the VIP that he’d keep it secret. Jung-Won leaves. Sung-Ho tells Hae-Ra that Jung-Won only cares Ha-Kyung. But Hae-Ra thinks it’s fine to her.
Jung-Won is called to police station, and spots Ma-Ri. The police officer tells Jung-Won that the drunk man provoked Ma-Ri, and his suit got ruined while she scuffled with him. Ma-Ri tears up to Jung-Won that she thought she could do anything with her new face, but it didn’t work. He tells her to eat when the food is warm. In-Wook worries Ma-Ri because it’s raining. He wonders where she is.
Jung-Won walks Ma-Ri home and prepare a room for her. The next day, he spots her making breakfast. He says that he doesn’t even know how long it’s been, since he had breakfast with someone like this. She promises to make him breakfast every day, and reveals she used to be a full-time housewife. She asks him if his wife went somewhere, but he is silence.
Hae-Ra runs into Jung-Won and tells him that she cannot contact the artist. She worries that another gallery contacted her. He says that she cannot hide her light under a bushel. But she tells him that there’s a secret he cannot hide. When they get in the elevator, she asks him if he performed the surgery on the woman. He explains that Ma-Ri was thinking about killing herself.
She asks him if it was around Ha-Kyung’s funeral. He admits it and claims that’s why he wanted to help her. He tells her to ask the painter if she wants to sell the painting. She says that she wants to meet the painter too. She wants to ask him to look at her when Ha-Kyung is gone. But she smirks and asks herself where her pride is. In-Wook returns home, and Il-Kook asks him if he is busy looking for his wife when playing golf.
Il-Kook tells In-Wook that his mom returned with black and blue bruises all over her body with a limp. He tells him that his mom returned because of him. He tells him to have a baby when Ma-Ri comes back, so she cannot run away from him. In-Wook remembers Il-Kook asked him to call his mom with the club, and spotted his father beating his mom. He takes out to gun and asks Ma-Ri to come back and comfort him.
Jung-Won is nervous when Ma-Ri is intention to walk in the room. She explains that she looks for a vacuum. He takes out the vacuum from the room and claims he will clean it.
Love in Sadness Korean Drama Recap: Episode 8
Hae-Ra talks with someone over the phone and complains that Jung-Won hasn’t reported Ha-Kyung’s death. She visits Jung-Won and is shocked when seeing Ma-Ri. Because Ma-Ri has Ha-Kyung’s looks.
Jung-Won takes Hae-Ra out, and she asks him to explains the woman with Ha-Kyung’s face. Ma-Ri looks at the face in the mirror, and realizes that face belongs to Jung-Won’s wife who passed away.
Hae-Ra talks Jung-Won in the cafe and reminds him that he will lose his medical license if people find out. But he tells her to act like she doesn’t know. She is in tears and asks him what he will do.

Jung-Won says that he will be cheering on that woman who looks like his wife. Jung-Won returns home but Ma-Ri is gone. He finds her at the playground. She says that she knows whose face she has, and she found the reason why he looked surprised when the bandage was removed from her face.
She says that she isn’t mad at him, as she was the one who said she was okay with any face. She thinks it was a miracle that he came to him that day, and wants to become the person like his wife. Jung-Won walks Ma-Ri and tells her to stay at his house until she finds something stable.
But she doesn’t want to put her savior in trouble, and offers to have dinner together for the last time. Hae-Ra meets with Ma-Ri and asks him to leave Jung-Won. Ma-Ri steps out and remembers Jung-Won’s warm words. She realizes what he did is to the owner of her face.
Jung-Won returns home and is surprised that Ma-Ri wears his wife’s dress. Cheol-Young visits Hae-Ra and asks about the dress. She explains that it’s related to a missing person case. Hae-Ra returns her dressing room and takes her dress. She remembers that she ran into Ha-Kyung who took same dress to her.
Hae-Ra wonders if Jung-Won lent Ha-Kyung’s dress to Ma-Ri. In-Wook visits Jung-Won’s house, Ma-Ri is scared to lock herself up in the room.
