In the 5th episode of Miss Hammurabi Korean Drama, Cha Oh Reum wants to kick out presiding judge Gong Choong, and asks to open the meeting of judges, because he made her friend Eun Ji abortion. But Se Sang thinks is biased on the side she likes so that the rest presiding judges don’t accept her. Miss Hammurabi realizes it, and wins their heart while making statement at the meeting.

Bo Wang thinks Ba Reun made a problem after seeing the email of gathering meeting of judges, and says that he has never gotten involved in this kind of matter. His colleague it’s serious since the email was sent by Ba Reun, and asks Bo Wang if it’s because of Eun Ji. Bo Wang agrees while playing his transforming toy, and reveals Cha Oh Reum is collecting the signatures for petition. The colleague thinks Ba Reun isn’t the person to take action without solid ground, although Eun Ji looks weak. Bo Wang thinks it looks interested.
Bo Wang asks Ba Reun why he is so calm after dropping a bomb. Ba Reun mentions their rule that they only discuss work related stuff, Bo Wang cannot figure it out how many agreements of judge he has to get. Ba Reun ask, “Did you study engineering before?” Bo Wang wants to kill him. Cha Oh Reum shows up, and says she got 70. Bo Wang thinks they won’t be successful if cannot get enough judges. She reveals there isn’t any presiding judge will join them. Ba Reun sighs, and thinks they must persuade them. Just then Bo Wang wants to leave, when she asks him to sign the agreement. He pretends he is in blood sugar, and takes the candies. But Do Yeon asks him to 22 dollars and 50 cents, when he is going to leave. He thinks she is sneaky and observant, and places the candies on her desk, and asks her if she is an AlphaGo. She mentions the money again, he shakes his head, and thinks she is so spiteful, asking himself why she is so pretty. She says that she has good body as well from inside while he goes outside. He turns around, when she comes to him, saying that she has keen sense of hearing, and walks into Ba Reun’s office. He complacent shows the candy he keeps. Then she tells Ba Reun that Se Sang wants to see him.

Se Sang mocks Ba Reun as the leader of worker’s union while he comes in, and says that presiding judges are nervous of associate judge’s strike. But Ba Reun doesn’t think equal collegiate panel having a union relationship. Se Sang asks him to do want he wants since he doesn’t treat him as his senior just like Cha Oh Reum. But Ba Reun says that it was not his intention. Se Sang sighs, and thinks he is careful than Cha Oh Reum, and thinks he has to face those people everyday, and asks him not to be involved in it. But Ba Reun thinks it’s too late to turn back. Se Sang yells at him, and thinks he will get hurt if he is against dirty things. But Ba Reun thinks Cha Oh Reum won’t ignore it, and says that he has to stand by her side. Se Sang thinks he ignored what he said, and asks him to get lost.
Gong Choong visits department head’s office while drinking tea, and admits that he didn’t train Eun Ji well, and brings out trouble because of his greedy. Department Head thinks working hard is good, but he still needs to do a good job, and reveals reporters are targeting this case. Gong Choong thinks there is a misunderstanding, and promises he will do a good job. But Department says that Young Jin promises it as well. Gong Choong tells him that he will handle it well. Department Head asks him to drink the tea because it’s cold.

Gong Choong’s follower tells him that Eun Ji is out of his mind, when he wants to visit her. Gong Choong asks his follower to get things from convenience store for Eun Ji, and pretends to give him money. The follower rejects the money.
Eun Ji’s husband goes outside when he knows there is someone wanting to visits his wife. He tries to stop Gong Choong from entering after knowing who he is. But Gong Choong calls Eun Ji’s name, and asks her what happened, and nags that she didn’t tell him his pregnancy. She grasps her blanket tightly, and mentions he told her not to talk about personal life during work, and cries out. Her husband asks him to go out, when seeing his wife’s tears. Just then the follower shows up with fruits. Gong Choong kneels down, and asks her to accept his apology. The follower asks Gong Choong to get up, and takes him away.
Two guys talks about Gong Choong made apologize, but got kicked out while they’re in washroom. They think Eun Ji is so merciless, and mention Cha Oh Reum is an attention seeker to affect Ba Reun. Just then Se Sang shows up to take a dump.
Bo Wang comes to Ba Reun’s office, and tells him and Cha Oh Reum that thing is changed after Gong Choong visited Eun Ji, revealing that people think she was harsh to him. He says Gong Choong’s follower is badmouthing her. He says that people think Eun Ji didn’t tells Gong Choong about her pregnancy. But Cha Oh Reum thinks the point is he overworked and abused her. Ba Reun thinks he framed her. Bo Wang thinks there are half of judges won’t attend the meeting. Just then the meeting’s date and time are announced, it’s on Friday 4 pm. Ba Reun thinks it’s busy time, so that the judges cannot attend it. Cha Oh Reum wants to set up the club activities at lunch break for the judges.
Cha Oh Reum tries to convince judges during the activities, and female judges praise Ba Reun flower arrangement. Do Yeon teases him, and thinks he doesn’t have the flower arrangement hobby. He denies, and says that he doesn’t go there to do it. She says, “beautiful!” He asks her what she means. She says, “Flowers!”
Cha Oh Reum says that they were interested in it, but didn’t want to attend. Ba Reun thinks she makes them uncomfortable because she claimed Eun Ji’s rights. But she thinks she just told the truth. He says that she tried to ask them to go against their superiors, when she told the truth. She asks him if he really wants to help her. He tells her to do it objectively.
They visits a department which judges eat late because of work. The judge claims he saw the email, and thinks it’s a case. But it makes him uncomfortable. Then they visit another department, the judge reveals he has to work late while his child is sleeping because the two female judges left in his department.
They walk outside, and look at the building in the evening. Cha Oh Reum thinks it’s hard to gather them together, because the judges has different opinions. Ba Reun tells her that the judges are suffering in it, but they just haven’t realized it.
Ba Reun tells Cha Oh Reum that there is a department decide to open the trial for the grandma who lost his child, and reveals Bo Wang is the presiding judge. She is excited, and wants to attend. But he doesn’t want her to attend. The senior judge Gon Dae tells plaintiff that the hospital refuses to give medical record for his son, because they’re busy. The lawyer says it has been three hospitals, and thinks defendant influenced them. But defendant denies. Gon Dae asks lawyer if he has evidence. The lawyer says that he hasn’t. Gon Dae claims he will give the plaintiff another chance when she gets the evidence. The grandma cries out in the court, after knowing she will fail if she cannot give the evidence the next trial. Cha Oh Reum is in tears.
Ba Reun thinks the grandma just breaks rock with an egg, Cha Oh Reum claims she is good at breaking rock with an egg. He says that it are two eggs, and joins her. They send flyer outside the court, Bo Wang wants to avoid them when running into. She asks Bo Wang why he didn’t visit their office recently, he claims that he is busy. She wants him to help her, since he knows many presiding judges. He takes the flyer, and hides it on his back with awkward smile. He stops her from sending flyers to presiding judges as he thinks they won’t read it, and is nervous when Gon Dae shows up. Gon Gae thinks he is lazy, and says he wants to give him the promotion. Bo Wang tries to explain this situation, but Gon Gae leaves.
Gong Choong has drink with reporters, he convinces them to think the young judges causing the problem. Bo Wang comes to Cha Oh Reum’s office, and claims that he didn’t join them when she is reading the article about their unionizing. Ba Reun asks him to shut up. She knows she has a nickname “Miss Hammurabi” when continues reading the article. Bo Wang reveals someone posted a article that “Miss Hammurabi” get a lawyer for plaintiff. Ba Reun mentions department head told him that Cha Oh Reum violated law. But Bo Wang thinks that she didn’t talk to him about this case. She claims that she will take the responsibility, but Gong Choong should take his responsibility as well. Bo Wang reveals presiding judges are furious because of the flyer, and claims he doesn’t want to fight with them. He runs into Do Yeon before he leaves. Do Yeon tells Cha Oh Reum that chief presiding judge wants to see her.
Chief presiding judge has a talk with her in his office, and thinks she intervenes another department’s case. She claims that she just helped a pitiful grandma. He mentions the legal code of ethics. She thinks it’s same that Chief presiding judge gives advise to underprivileged class. Chief presiding judge thinks she is funny, and asks her why she has to kick out Gong Choong from court system. She says that she heard the situation of Eun Ji. But he thinks she just heard a side of story, and wants to stop her.
Ba Reun visits the presiding judge, and asks him to help her from being disciplined. But the presiding judge thinks it’s just a small problem inside the court. Ba Reun gets angry, and says that she feels contempt each day isn’t a small problem.
Ba Reun asks Cha Oh Reum to step back after she returned office, and thinks she shouldn’t get too ambitious. But she wants to break people’s comfort zone. He persuades her to choose systematic reform and constructive argument, but she refuses, and reveals she wants justice. He thinks she just looks for revenge.
Dan Di asks Ba Reun to get coffee together when he returns his office, and reveals it’s Sa Sung’s treat. But Bo Yeon thinks Se Sang will get anxious if she leaves her desk, when Dan Di wants to invite her as well. Just then Se Sang yells where is the memo, he startles Dan Di.
Ji Young tells Cha Oh Reum that Eun Ji asks the clerk to print out the layoff case, and takes to hospital when they’re getting coffee. Cha Oh Reum thinks Eun Ji should worry about herself. Ba Reun looks at Cha Oh Reum, and thinks she should worry about herself as well. He avoids his gaze when she looks at him as well.
They have eye contacts two times after returning office. She asks him if the coffee was quite sweet, but he thinks it was very bitter. She reveals she is full of energy after drinking it, and lifts her hand to asks him to look at her muscles on her arm. He smiles, and thinks he only said the things she likes. But she thinks his help is … and gets a call from Yong Jun.
Yong Jun walks her while they’re in hotel, saying that he heard she is against a hospital for a grandma, revealing that his sister is the director of the hospital, thinking there is nothing wrong on their side. She thinks he comes to tell her that he is the heir of the hospital. He tells her that it was because of her, and reveals he gave the grandma some money. But she thinks the truth will be revealed, and leaves without eating anything. He sighs while seeing her leaving.
The defendant tells presiding judge Gon Dae that plaintiff should hand over the evidence if she thinks there is any wrong on her side, but she only shows abstract claims. But the grandma cries out her son died during surgery, and thinks defendant killed him. Gon Dae thinks the lawyer shouldn’t open a trial if he doesn’t believe the system’s medical report. The grandma says the hospital switched the surgeon, but defendant claims ever process was recorded. Gon Dae closes the trial, even if the grandma keeps yell in the court.
Cha Oh Reum tells Ba Reun that the hospital is going to give the grandma money for settlement, but they ask her not to file additional suit anymore. Cha Oh Reum and Ba Reun visit Eun Ji at the hospital. Eun Ji cries out because she doesn’t know how to face her colleagues since they knew her abortion, and reveals that they told her that Gong Choong is a good person after he visited her. Cha Oh Reum feels sorry for it.
Ba Reun tells Cha Oh Reum that she didn’t do anything wrong while seeing she squats in tears, and tells her that she just fight for herself, not Eun Ji. She thinks she is selfish to be hero, but he asks her not to give up, and tells her to get up. She reveals her legs are asleep, and he helps her to get up.
He asks her if she tells the grandma to reject the settlement the next day when she comes to office. But she denies, and reveals the grandma got $ 50,000 instead of $ 20,000, because of Yong Jun, thinking she doesn’t have to sleep at street to get a department.
Cha Oh Reum comes to Se Sang’s office, and calls him senior. He asks her why she is so polite, she says that she wants him to convince presiding judges to attend the meeting. But he thinks she is wrong because she didn’t talk to Gong Choong since she wants to kick him out, and says the presiding judges aren’t aliens, but human.
She tells her grandma that she is biased on the side she likes, grandma thinks she forgot the words she told her, and takes her to temple. She tells Cha Oh Reum to have a merciful to all of people, and thinks bias isn’t the case while prays in front of Deity.
Cha Oh Reum doesn’t know how to do when there isn’t any presiding judge showing up at the meeting. Do Yeon thinks having a nice bottom means nothing, because he is so indecisive, while Bo Wang shows his bottom in front of her. She reminds him it’s 4 pm.
Department head asks to cancel the meeting, as there aren’t enough judges to attend it. Se Sang shows up as first presiding judge sitting front, Cha Oh Reum is touched, and in tears. He turns around his head with smiles. Then the rest presiding judges show up as well. Bo Wang is the last judge to attend the meeting. But it still lacks 20 judges, so that department head asks chief judge to cancel the meeting.
Cha Oh Reum is anxious to come to the stage, and asks chief judge to give her the change to make the statement. Chief judge accepts her request. She tells others that she likes presiding judge Se Sang, because he treats each case like a person, and wishes other associate judges respect their presiding judges, telling a story of a person who climbed the Himalayas alone to withdraw in tears when he couldn’t win. She tells judges to withdraw while smiling, because they came to the meeting. All of judges applaud after hearing his statement. Bo Wang tells Ba Reun that he will vote Cha Oh Reum if she wants to be president, Ba Reun thinks he is stupid with a smile.
