Zhao Yong wants to take the duty. But Bai Zhou points out that Lu Ying won’t forgive them if he finds out. He asks about Chang Ping, but the man says that Chang Ping left. Bai Zhou asks to block Feng En after court examination.
Feng En walks Wen Xi and tells her that he will give the paper to Emperor, but she tells him to wait until Emperor returns to palace. He says that he won’t see Emperor and Crown Prince if Emperor returns to palace. Feng En rides away.
Wang En wants to write for Crown Prince because his hand hurt, but Crown Prince rejects it.
The man tells Feng En not to walk out of the gate, and Feng En puts his sword on the man’s neck. He tells him that he won’t lose life like him if his hand shakes. He asks him if his master gives him domineering, and thinks he doesn’t have life to enjoy.
The man tells his men to take back their swords. He tells Feng En that he doesn’t like what he said, and his master didn’t give him anything. He shows the token to him, and says that Emperor asked to arrest him.
Emperor tells Palace General to reveal the punishment of Crown Prince after the court examination. But Palace General tells Emperor to think about it. Shi Yu agrees to it and mentions Min Crown Prince, and he asks Emperor if he wants to depose Crown Prince.
Shi Yu thinks maybe Crown Prince has sin, but he asks Emperor to look into it and punish him. He asks him to take a look at the two different newspapers, but Emperor wants to look into it after he returns to palace.
Shi Yu thinks Emperor still remembers the thing of three years, and tells him that Crown Prince just wanted to see his mom’s last face and he didn’t want to hurt him. Emperor asks Shi Yu what lesson he would give to his son if he did same thing.
Shi Yu says that he cannot give him a lesson anymore, and he regrets after his son died. He says that he kept thinking of him, but he pretended not to care about it. Shi Yu says that his heart is like to be ripped by carriage. He asks Emperor not to take the path of him, and thinks children cannot be importuned.
Emperor tells Shi Yu that he won’t regret, and he stares at Crown Prince who takes the brush.
The man wipes off the blood on his neck, and what Feng En lost isn’t just fame and title of nobility. Feng En promises to return with him, but he asks the man to hand over the paper to Palace General. But the man gives the token and the letter to Chang Ping who hides in the carriage.
Chang Ping asks the man to lock up Feng En for a night, and he will give the paper to Bai Zhou.
Palace General tells Emperor that the carriage is ready, and Emperor invites Shi Yu to leave with him. Shi Yu asks Emperor if he is sure that Crown Prince has sin or uses Crown Prince to pacify army.
Emperor rages, but Shi Yu asks Emperor to take back his order. Crown Prince tells Palace General to take away Shi Yu. Shi Yu asks Crown Prince if the handwriting he taught is used to write sin paper, and asks Emperor to allow Crown Prince defend on his own.
Crown Prince tells Shi Yu to leave but he is taken away by bodyguards. Emperor thinks he is behind Shi Yu in Crown Prince’s mind, but Shi Yu thinks it’s unfair that Emperor says so. Emperor mentions that they’re asking for fair for Crown Prince.
The man reminds Emperor that Qi Prince is waiting for him outside. Emperor decides to leave, but Crown Prince asks Emperor if what he wants to kill is his heart. He confesses that he likes the girl and she makes him think it’s good to be the crown prince for the first time.
Crown Prince thinks he wouldn’t run into the girl with his background. He says that he would fight with Qi Prince till the end even if he broke his arm to draw the bow, when Emperor pitied. Crown Prince says that he doesn’t dare to expect for keeping him and the girl. Crown Prince asks Emperor what he is in his mind.
Wang Weng informs Crown Prince that Ming An got in Emperor’s carriage. Emperor reads the paper but he tells Ming An not to get involved with his family affair. He asks him to take the paper to visit Lv Han and threaten to look into the behind. He asks him who gave him the paper. Ming An says that someone gave it to him.
Wen Xi remembers Feng En asked her to give the paper to Ming An and report the result to Lu Ying. Ming An asks Wen Xi how she gets the tooth token, and she remembers she got it from Crown Prince’s clothes. Ming An asks Wen Xi to go out of Palace Gate, but she drops the bag.
Ming An asks Wen Xi to tell Lu Ying not to take action. She accepts it but wants to look for the bag she dropped. He tells her to go out of palace no matter she finds it or not.
Wen Xi sees Ding Quan taking her bag, and she tells him to open it after he goes home. But Wang Wen throws the bag to her as he thinks she tried to flirt with Crown Prince.
The palace gate is closed, and Wen Xi cannot walk out of palace. The men asks Lu Ying to make decision. Shi Yu shows up and takes a look at the paper. He thinks the paper can only bring trouble to Crown Prince.
The man reports to Lu Ying that Crown Prince isn’t in the troop of people going to palace. He thinks Crown Prince is locked up in the moving palace, and asks Lu Ying to make decision.
