Lu Zheng visits Emperor and asks to carry back Shi Yu’s body. He asks to resign, and Emperor thinks it’s good.
Crown Prince returns home. Wang Weng cries and asks Crown Prince to explain it to Emperor. Crown Prince comforts Wang Weng that Emperor knows everything.
Crown Prince drinks the wine Wang Weng gets for him, and he is sad to jump into the pool.
Wen Pu is taken into the jail, and he asks the two men if it’s law or illegal punishment. They say illegal punishment. Lu Ying sees Wen Pu and thinks he is a fool.
Shao Yun observes the coral, and mentions his father Lu Zheng accepted Bai Zhou’s gift and helped Crown Prince.
Shao Yun asks Lu Zheng who he is going to marry his sister to, and thinks Crown Prince affordable. Because he is like Si Lin when Crown Prince becomes his brother-in-law.
Lu Zheng thinks Shao Yun is stupid and he will die in someone else’s hand. The servant informs Lu Zheng that Bai Zhou visits.
Lu Zheng runs to welcome Bai Zhou, but Bai Zhou blames Lu Zheng for eating his fish and spitting the bone. Lu Zheng explains that he did it for Qi Prince because Crown Prince will take revenge when Shi Yu dies.
Bai Zhou yells that Shi Yu asked for death on his own, and asks Lu Zheng if he thought he couldn’t protect Qi Prince.
Lu Zheng asks if Lu Ying’s daughter will become Crown Princess. Bai Zhou says that it’s passed as Lu Ying is with sin. Lu Zheng reveals Palace General took Lu Ying’s paper.
When Emperor is reading the paper of Wen Xi, Consort Zhao asks him if he wants to give up Qing Prince. She thinks Long State is better than capital camp.
Emperor casts the brush to Consort Zhao, and yells to make Qi Prince follow Si Lin. He blames Zhao Yong for interfering his family. She is on knees.
Emperor says that Crown Prince isn’t the one who can be bullied, and he is a tiger. He says that patriarchal clan, feudal ethical code and public sentiment stand behind Crown Prince because he is elder son.
Emperor adds that Crown Prince’s uncle is with 200,000 soldiers, and he asks Consort Zhao what they have. She tears up. He says that Crown Prince doesn’t visit him for the first time in the 12 years, and thinks Shi Yu is more important than his father in Crown Prince’s mind.
Emperor says that Crown Prince will dig out the things they did and bury them with Shi Yu if Qi Prince doesn’t leave this evening. Emperor passes out, and Consort Zhao yells to ask for doctor.
Crown Prince has the same dream again, and he doesn’t understand what Shi Yu told him that dad is heaven and son is earth. He asks where the human are between heaven and earth.
Emperor wakes up and the son calls him. He mistakes him as Crown Prince, but the person is Qi Prince. The man tells Emperor that Crown Prince is drunk and cannot be woken. Qi Prince is on knees outside and tells Emperor to take care of himself.
Emperor asks Consort Zhao to help him get up, and she wishes him to take care of himself as they need his protecting. He asks to find and kill the behind, and offers to let them sit the dragon throne.
Bai Zhou gives the confession of ministers to Emperor, and says that Lu Ying did all of the things and Crown Prince knew nothing. Emperor thinks it was his mistake to choose Lu Ying as the chief minister.
Bai Zhou thinks Lu Ying’s families knew it, and says that it’s related to the state system. Emperor asks to arrest the families.
The servant tells Madam Lu that the men want to arrest Wen Xi, and Madam Lu asks Wen Xi to take the back door to leave. The man asks to get in the house to search. Madam Lu tells them to take away Shi Yu’s coffin if they take the imperial edict.
Wen Xi walks out of Shi Yu’s house and runs. The men follow her. Someone takes away Wen Xi.
The men want to break into the house, and Madam Lu asks them to ask Lu Zheng if his teacher’s soul can return to the family.
Crown Prince shows up and catches Shi Yu’s clothes. He asks the men to tell Lu Zheng not to disturb Madam Lu.
The man asks the person to get off the carriage. The gold token is handed over, and the man leaves after knowing the person is Zhao Prince. Zhao Prince tells Wen Xi that she is safe, and asks where she wants to go. She says that she wants to go home.
Crown Prince walks to wear the clothes on the coffin. It flashes back that Crown Prince wears clothes for Shi Yu.
Crown Prince pays his respect to Shi Yu, and remembers Shi Yu told him not to use handwriting for plot. Crown Prince keeps hitting his palm with the ruler until he cries out.
