In the second episode of SKY Castle Korean Drama Recap, Seo-Jin discovers that Myung-Joo committed suicide because her son wanted to cut the tie with her and took revenge. She realizes it’s Joo-Young, so she drives to her house and gives Joo-Young a slap.
SKY Castle Korean Drama Recap: Episode 2

People gather to Myung-Joo’s funeral. Seo-Jin calls Young-Jae when he arrives. But he ignores her. He visits her mother and cries out. The workers move the group photo of Young-Jae’s family, and we see the tablet lying on the floor. Seung-Hye, Seo-Jin and Jin-Hee are sad of Myung-Joo’s passing away, and guess the reason why she chose to end her life.
Joon-Sang chases Soo-Chang and tries to persuade him to give up the resignation. Soo-Chang feels sorry for didn’t promote Joon-Sang to be the director. Joon-Sang doesn’t think it’s a case and asks his friend to consider Young-Jae. Jin-Hee runs on the treadmill and is shocked by the news. Yang-Woo tells her the president won’t choose Joon-Sang and badmouths him. But president is standing behind him. Yang-Woo realizes it and hangs up the phone. He waits for president and greets him. But president only gives him a yes. You shouldn’t skip SKY Castle episode 2.
Jin-Hee guesses something happened on Myung-Joo otherwise she wouldn’t cancel the cruise. The maid mentions to Seo-Jin that Myung-Joo didn’t return the pot. Seo-Jin remembers the date of medicine bag which she saw in Myung-Joo’s house is December 19, but Myung-Joo gave her the vvip card at December 19. Jin-Hee realizes Myung-Joo didn’t go to the cruise, and thinks Soo-Chang cheated on her wife. Drunk Soo-Chang complains to Joon-Sang that his son isn’t a human in the bar because he killed his mother. Joon-Sang thinks Young-Jae is a nice kid. Soo-Chang laughs and cries out.

Seung-Hye touches the statue Myung-Joo gave her and thinks she owned the entire world. She remembers that she and her sons stepped out of the house in the winter day, and saw a fight in Myung-Joo’s room. Min-Hyuk suggests his wife to throw away the statue, and thinks Young-Jae won’t succeed without his mom. Joon-Sang tells Seo-Jin there was a problem between Young-Jae and his mother. Joo-Young and her assistant gives the teacher profiles to Seo-Jin. Ye-Seo thrills that the teachers are famous. The assistant gives the dish list to Ye-Seo, and claims it will be good to her health. Seo-Jin shows the room her daughter studies to Joo-Young. Joo-Young gives her some tips. SKY Castle episode 2 airs on Netflix.
Seo-Jin asks Joo-Young if she knows Young-Jae’s passing away. Joo-Young says she ends the relationship after she completes the deal with client, and doesn’t pick up Young-Jae’s call. She asks Seo-Jin if she contacts Soo-Im. Seo-Jin says she did it, but Soo-Im didn’t reply her. Yang-Woo breaks into Joon-Sang’s office, and says president hired a unfamous professor. Joon-Sang is curious on president’s intention since he has so many candidates. Seung-Hye thinks a doctor should care about his patients instead of his profit, and finds out Seo-Jin treats her with the teacup brand which is 260 years old. Seo-Jin reveals it belongs to her mother. Seung-Hye wants to meet her mother, but Seo-Jin says she needs to stay with her son. Jin-Hee says he is a dentist.
Soo-Im and her family arrive at the house, and she thinks they get to live in luxury thanks to Chi-Young. But Woo-Joo thinks she is the only one who enjoys the luxury because his colleage is far from there. Jin-Hee finds out Soo-Im moved to the house and guesses she doesn’t know Myung-Joo died in it. But Seo-Jin stops her friend from talking about Myung-Joo. Soo-Im sees the workers carrying the potted plants. Woo-Joo begins to take the books to the shelf, and says the plant provides oxygen and sucks up fine dust. He gives the tablet to her mother, and guesses it belongs to previous owner. But she leaves it on the desk. SKY Castle cast: Han Seo-Jin (Yum Jung-Ah).
Joon-Sang finds Soo-Chang family photo in the trash can, and remembers his words about Young-Jae. Chi-Young steps into the office and greets him. Joon-Sang claims it was his senior’s office. Chi-Young smiles and says that Joon-Sang can visit it anytime. President Choi introduces Chi-Young in the appointment ceremony, and reveals he was touched that Chi-Young treated the porter like family. Joon-Sang sneers at President Choi that he chose him for his humanitarian. President Choi points to Yang-Woo and asks him if he has any question to him, the 1,000-year-old tortoise. Yang-Woo is scared that he got on President Choi’s bad side, and thinks he will make Chi-Young director of the spine center. But Joon-Sang thinks President Choi will consider the risk.
Soo-Im visits Seo-Jin and gives her the rice cake. Seo-Jin dislikes the food, but she accepts it. Soo-Im asks Seo-Jin if she is her friend Mi-Hyang. But Seo-Jin thinks she mistook her for someone else. Soo-Im feels sorry and gives the rice cakes to Seung-Hye and Jin-Hee. They accept it, and Seung-Hye reveals she hasn’t received rice cakes so long. Soo-Im asks them to come over to her place for lunch. Seung-Hye and Jin-Hee accept it. But Seo-Jin says that she has plans tomorrow. Jin-Hee complains to Seo-Jin the grime under Soo-Im’s fingernails, Seung-Hye thinks she touches the plants and soil all the time. Jin-Hee says Soo-Im can be pretty obnoxious, and asks Seo-Jin what she thinks. But Seo-Jin returned her house. SKY Castle cast: Kang Joon-Sang (Jung Joon-Ho).
Seo-Jin drinks the water up, and remembers she was chased by her father who was drinking the wine. He asked her to take the ox blood to her mother, and threw it to her. The ox blood dropped to her shoe, the classmates saw it. Seo-Jin was scared and kept shaking her head.
Seo-Jin goes to upstairs and sits to the mirror, telling herself that she is Seo-Jin. Ye-Bin and Soo-Han stare at the hall of honor. The first one is Ye-Seo, the second one is Hye-Na. Hye-Na shows up and is curious why the stuck-up didn’t come. Ye-Bin thinks she should ask Ye-Seo directly. Soo-Han reveals Ye-Seo has coach, Ye-Bin asks Hye-Na not to tell Ye-Seo that she spilled it because she will be in trouble if her sister loses it.
Jin-Hee walks Seo-Jin out of the cafe and lifts the coffee. She is curious why her husband have to send her son to science hight school, and thinks he is too greedy. But Seo-Jin says her husband criticizes her even though he is so greedy himself. They get in the car. Jin-Hee says she will vet her if Soo-Im qualifies to join their community. Seo-Jin sighs. She visits Soo-Im and claims her plan got canceled. Soo-Im thrills to let her come in. Seo-Jin gives the wine to Soo-Im and thinks the space looks nice with plants. Jin-Hee guesses Soo-Im was a landscaper. Seo-Jin looks at the family photo and thinks Woo-Joo is good-looking. Seung-Hye sses the dishes and asks Soo-Im if she grow the vegetables herself. Soo-Im says yes, and asks the ladies if they like ox blood soup. Seung-Hye says his father used to love it, and wants some. But Seo-Jin and Jin-Hee skip it. Jin-Hee asks Soo-Im how she met her husband. Soo-Im reveals they grew up together in an orphanage, and gets the dishes for the ladies, claiming that the ox blood is very fresh. She feels sorry to Seo-Jin and feels Mi-Hyang is a friend she grew up with, but lost touch after they graduated high school. Jin-Hee laughs and thinks the name is cheesy.
They drink the wine, and Soo-Im thinks it’s very delicious. Seung-Hye says the aroma of the wine is outdone by the flower scent, and thinks Soo-Im takes good care of her flowers. Soo-Im reveals her mother loved flowers and plants so much, and she grew up watching her caring for them. Jin-Hee mentions Soo-Im said that she grew up in an orphanage. Soo-Im says her parents ran the orphanage, and reveals her son Woo-Joo thought they must be resting in paradise. Seo-Jin asks Soo-Im if her son is the boy who got accept to the high school as the top student. Soo-Im is shocked that how Seo-Jin knew it. Jin-Hee reveals Seo-Jin kept texting and calling Soo-Im. But Soo-Im says she blocks all the calls from other student’s mothers, and reveals her son never takes any private lesson. Seo-Jin and Jin-Hee leave the dinner, and Jin-Hee thinks Soo-Im is very rude. SKY Castle episode 2 is worth of watching.
Soo-Im chases them outside and mentions the tablet. Seo-Jin takes it and claims she lent to previous owner.
Joo-Young tells Seo-Jin that Ye-Seo got A grade, but Woo-Joo only got B. She asks her to trust her. Seo-Jin agrees. Ye-Seo tells her mother that she tried to text to Young-Jae, but his phone was turned off. Seo-Jin thinks he did such because his dead mother.
Seo-Jin is tired and wants to watch a movie. She opens the tablet and finds what Young-Jae that he wanted to die.
Myung-Joo tears up after knowing her son wanted to take revenge for her. Soo-Chang steps into the room. She asks him why he didn’t call his son, and reveals Young-Jae want to cut ties with them. She gives the tablet to him, and cries out in the living room. She remembers Young-Jae thought he was miserable living his life as her son. Myung-Joo tries to eat some medicine, but the pills drop to the floor.
Soo-Chang sees the texts and throws the tablet to the wall. He calls his son’s name and asks Myung-Joo where Young-Jae is. She thinks it was his mistake to beat their son up, and mentions he cheated on her. He slaps her and calls Mr. Park to murder his son. But she takes his phone and says she cannot give up on her son. She remembers the farewell and thinks Young-Jae hugged her for some reason. SKY Castle episode 2 contains suspenseful plot.
She asks Mr. Park to look for her son and knows Young-Jae is staying with Ga-Eul. Myung-Joo arrives at Ga-Eul and finds she is sleeping with Young-Jae. She hits Ga-Eul, but Young-Jae stops his mother and claims he wants to live his life since he achieved their goal. Myung-Joo passes out.
Myung-Joo wakes up and looks for her son. Ga-Eul tells her that she won’t stop Young-Jae if he wants to leave.
Soo-Chang thinks he and Myung-Joo live life wrong, and leaves home. He cries out in the car. Myung-Joo calls Ga-Eul’s home, but the old lady tells her that Young-Jae and Ga-Eul left.
Seo-Jin knows the truth and drives to the parking lot, and hits Joo-Young. Joo-Young asks her why she comes there. Seo-Jin gives Joo-Young a slap. SKY Castle is a Korean drama telling a story about kid education.
