In the 5-6th episodes of The Legend of Dugu Chinese Drama, Jia Luo decides to inform Yuwen Young after knowing his father is going to marry her to General Li’s Son. Yuwen Young knows he cannot reach 30 when he is going to see Jia Luo.
The Legend of Dugu Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 5
Yuwen Hu buys Ban Ruo the snack she likes most and wants to make her happy, but she tells him that he needn’t it and reveals she has something to tell him. He is afraid of she gets marry with someone else, because he saw Yuwen Yu asks Dugu Xin for wedding. Ban Ruo thinks they shouldn’t argues and promises that she won’t fall in love with Yuwen Yu. Yuwen Hu gets angry and claims he wants throne and Ban Ruo, she promises to get marry with him if he can divorce with his wife.

She thinks he just wants to unitize his wife’s family when he is silent. Yuwen Hu knows he cannot give both his wife and Ban Ruo so that he hugs her on his chest tightly. Jia Luo sees Minister Du and Princess Qing He, informing Ban Ruo and Yuwen Hu, letting them hides in the wardrobe. Jia Luo is drinking in the bed when Minister Du and Princess Qing He arrives, they have to leave.
Ban Ruo blames Yuwen Hu for setting a trap on her and doesn’t listen to his explaining, thinking she will be caught by Princess Qing He if Jia Luo didn’t help her. She thinks they cannot turn back to before, but promises she only loves him in her life. Yuwen Hu promises it as well, but doesn’t allow her to marry someone else.
Yuwen Hu lets Ge Shu tells others that Princess Qing He is ill so that he can marry Ban Ruo, but Qing He gets angry when Ge Shu feeds her medicine and spreads the rumors of Dugu family. Dugu Xin gets angry and blames Jia Luo in his book room after knowing Jia Luo drank. Ban Ruo wants to tell her father the truth, but Jia Luo stops her. Man Tuo slanders Jia Luo at the same time, Dugu Xin lets Jia Luo kneel down at the yard for two hours.
Jia Luo faints while kneeling, Yang Jian saved her. Dugu Xin feels guilt when seeing Jia Luo’s illness. Ban Ruo comforts him and claims she will take care of her. Man Tuo claims she needs to take medicine and leaves, Yang Jia discovers she gets angry because of his unambitious when he follows her. He has to tell her that he did it to lull Yuwen Hu. Man Tuo is happy and accepts to eat out after knowing he is ambitious.

Ma Shi persuades Man Tuo not to be relationship with Yang Jian, Man Tuo thinks she is just a maid and decides to live together with Yang Jian. Emperor gives Ban Ruo the title of Princess Ning Du. Yuwen Hu sends hairpin to her and reminds her not to forget her pledge she made. Yuwen Yu gives hairpin to Ban Ruo as well, but she doesn’t wear it.
Yang Jian gives Jia Luo hump which she likes most while she is locked in. She lets him not to disclose Ban Ruo and Yuwen Hu’s relationship, he accepts it. General Li takes his son Li Cheng to congratulate Dugu Xin on marrying his daughter, Dugu Xin likes Li Cheng most and lets Jia Luo have a meet with General Li and Li Cheng.

General Li wants to be in-laws with Dugu Xin after seeing Jia Luo and his son played well, Dugu Xin accepts it instantly. But Jia Luo rejects it and decides to send a letter to Yuwen Young. Yuwen Young is scared after knowing Jia Luo is going to get marry with someone else and wants to stop it.
Yang Jian decides to explain the situation to General Li with Jia Luo, she thinks it’s a good idea. Meanwhile, Yuwen Young is in his road to see Jia Luo. General Li rejects Jia Luo’s request and insists on marrying his son to her. Li Cheng cannot understand why she wants to break their marriage.
Jia Luo complains General Li is good at talking, and thinks Yang Jia didn’t help her. He claims he and Man Tuo’s marriage will be gone if he helps her. Jia Luo grumbles she isn’t intention to break his wedding. Zheng Rong is curious why they are close when Yang Jian walks Jia Luo home.
Yuwen Young falls down from his horse and vomits blood, but he jumps on his horse again to see Jia Luo. Jia Luo is caught by Ban Ruo when she is going to see Yuwen Young, Jia Luo thinks she isn’t false on her love like her elder sister. Ban Ruo gives her a slap. Jia Luo knows she hurt her elder sister and asks for her forgiving.
Yuwen Young is caught by soldiers when he returns. Emperor sends him to prison after knowing he returns without permission. Yuwen Hu saves him from prison and invites a doctor to see her. Yuwen Young vomits blood again after knowing he cannot reach 30.
