The Romance of Tiger and Rose begins with Han Shuo telling Qian Qian that he will love her all his life, and she kisses him. But Bai Ji bursts into the room and pours water on the two. He apologizes to his master and asks for another chance. Han Shuo points out that he has said it many times. Qian Qian realizes that she likes Han Shuo and her heart beating fast when he goes to see her.

Zi Ying claims that the love incense was set up by the waiter, and he has fled. Qian Qian and Han Shuo forgive Zi Ying, although they know that he lay. Qian Qian wants to use Zi Ying to help Chu Chu, and Han Shuo wants to make Pei Heng feels shame with the servant.

Chu Chu summon Qian Qian to her room and plays chess with her. Qian Qian tells Chu Chu that she will give the position of rose city chief to her, but Chu Chu asks for Han Shuo. This is what Qian Qian wants, but she still feels sad when her sister wins her.

The Romance of Tiger and Rose describes Chu Chu as a vicious older sister, and she uses the younger sister’s affection to get power and man. The troop is going to leave, and Han Shuo finds out that Qian Qian doesn’t allow him to ride the carriage with him. So he drags her off the carriage, and takes her to ride his white horse. He confesses his feelings to her but she tells him that they’re in different worlds like tiger and rose.

Zi Ying uses Meng Guo to get into the study, but the two are blocked by Bai Ji and Zi Rui. Zi Ying reports to Pei Heng that Han Shuo wants to hurt Qian Qian, and Pei Heng promises to get him stay with Qian Qian. Qian Qian recites the love poem to Pei Heng, and it makes Han Shuo to oppose Pei Heng.

The storyteller tells people how Qian Qian moved Meng Guo to surrender. Qian Qian hears it and feels happy. Chu Chu passes by, and Zi Zhu thinks Qian Qian did nothing but got the honor. Chu Chu thinks Qian Qian got it just because she is younger rose city chief. Qian Qian sees Chu Chu and wants to explain it. But Zi Ying tells her that Han Shuo and Pei Heng will have a fight at the theater.

Han Shuo tells Pei Heng that Zi Ying wants to hurt Qian Qian, but Pei Heng doesn’t believe it and claims he told Zi Ying to do so. Pei Heng leaves, and Han Shuo thinks Pei Heng wants to hurt Qian Qian. Bai Ji points out that Pei Heng won’t do that as he loves Qian Qian. Han Shuo is surprised that Bai Ji’s intelligence quotient is improved.

Qian Qian arrives and mistakes that Han Shuo makes Pei Heng see the drama of dumping husband. She thinks he is mean. He doesn’t know how to explains it, and he sees Zi Ying. Bai Ji reminds Han Shuo that Zi Ying took Qian Qian there.

The Romance of Tiger and Rose ends with Han Shuo apologizing to Qian Qian but he calls Meng Guo, Zi Ying and Pei Heng there. He asks them what they will do if their wife dumped him for another man. It makes Qian Qian embarrassed. She pretends to be drunk and leaves the dinner table. Zi Rui reports to her that Zi Ying wants to get in her study. She tells him to let Zi Ying in and wants to see how Zi Ying will hurt her.
