The Romance of Tiger and Rose: Episode 20 begins with Qian Qian fleeing to Lin Family, and the steward thanks her for giving the gold badge to Lin Qi. He feels regret that Lin Qi has died. The servant hands over the gold badge and Lin Qi’s letter. Qian Qian knows that Lin Qi doesn’t die, and she realizes that she can change the story.
She returns to moon house and tells the musicians not to let Han Shuo know her fleeing. Han Shuo shows up and he heard it. The musician gets on knees and reports to Han Shuo that it’s Pei Heng’s idea. Han Shuo is furious after know Qian Qian fleeing with Pei Heng, and he wants to sleep with Qian Qian right now. She tears up the divorce agreement and lies in bed. She is ready for accepting his attacking. But Han Shuo thinks she is too cheap and tells her to be his maid.
Chu Chu visits Han Shuo and tells him to send Qian Qian to Yuan Yuan’s place. Han Shuo gets Qian Qian to serve Chu Chu, and he flirts with Chu Chu in front of Qian Qian. Qian Qian is furious and Han Shuo asks her to iron clothes for him. He visits Rose City Chief and tells her to hand over city chief seal. She rejects it and threatens him to protect her with Qian Qian. Han Shuo has no way but to send bodyguards to protect his mother-in-law.
Chu Chu asks Han Shuo why he replaced her bodyguards and reminds him that he won’t get dark water mine if she cannot be the city chief. He asks her how she will make Rose City Chief hand over the seal. She says that she will cut off Qian Qian’s fingers until Rose City Chief agrees to it.
Pei Heng wants to save Qian Qian from moon house as her hand is hurt. Han Shuo shows up and tells Pei Heng that he can do nothing because he doesn’t have any soldier. Han Shuo blames Qian Qian for letting Pei Heng know her hurt. She denies and sleeps with him.
Pei Heng remembers Han Shuo’s words and sees the flower badge of her mom’s portrait. He decides to take the flower badge. But the followers think the generals won’t listen to him as he is a man. Pei Heng points out that men can be general as well.
The old maid guides Pei Heng to steal flower badge from Chu Chu’s house. He takes the flower badge and asks those generals to protect Qian Qian. But they look down on him and thinks he is just kidding. He cuts off one of the general’s head, and the rest of them get on knees to him.
The Romance of Tiger and Rose ends with Qian Qian deciding to flee. But the bodyguards block her with the swords. Pei Heng kills the bodyguards, and tells Qian Qian that he can protect her as well. But she worries about him while seeing the blood on his sword.
