Ling Jiao sees the eyes and screams. It wakes Wen Chao up while he is drinking next room. He asks her to shut up but sees her bleeding from the eyes and nostrils.
Wu Xian in black blows the flute while standing at the roof, and Ling Jiao holds out and asks him to save her. But he holds the sword to stab her. She doesn’t feel painful, and climbs to him. Ling Jiao regrets to kill innocents, and ruins her face with the piece of porcelain. Wu Xian prepares white cloth for her, and she takes her life.
Wen Chao is startled to ask for forgiving, and Zhu Liu takes his master away. Wang Ji and Jiang Cheng arrive, and they’re shocked that the people of Wen family were killed with cruel ways. Jiang Cheng finds Ling Jiao and whips her body to take revenge his parents.
Wang Ji finds out that the driving evil charms are changed to drawing evil charms, and wonders who did it. Jiang Cheng thinks it’s fine if the person’s goal is Wen family. He finds Wen Qing at the dungeon, and he has feelings on her. Jiang Cheng tells Wen Qing that he can accept her if she can leave Wen family. But she rejects him as her brother was taken away. So he gives her a comb and tells her to visit him if she needs help.
Wang Ji and Jiang Cheng chases Wen Chao, but someone else killed the men of Wen family in advance. They finds the trace of Wen Chao and Zhu Liu. Wen Chao is startled and fears to light a candle, and Zhu Liu applies ointment for Wen Chao.
Wen Chao scolds Zhu Liu after knowing that he will see his father after two days, but he panics when Zhu Liu intends to leave. Wu Xian shows up with his black flute. Wang Ji and Jiang Cheng are shocked.
Wu Xian sneers at Wen Chao and thinks Zhu Liu cannot protect his master. Zhu Liu claims that he has to pay back the kindness of Wen family. But Wu Xian thinks it’s absurd that Zhu Liu paid back the kindness with people’s bloods. He summons the female ghost to attack Zhu Liu.
Wang Ji and Jiang Cheng show up, and it surprises Wu Xian. Jiang Cheng kills Zhu Liu with purple electricity and embraces Wu Xian, asking him where he went. Wu Xian denies that he was thrown into random burying post, but Wang Ji found out that Wu Xian changed the charm and killed the men of Wen family.
Wang Ji asks Wu Xian why he gave up sword path and took the evil path, and Wu Xian cannot tell that he lost her core. He tells Wang Ji that it’s not his business. Wen Chao wakes up and asks for forgiving. Wu Xian wishes Wang Ji not to intervene, and Wang Ji has to leave.
Wu Xian and Jiang Cheng kill Wen Chao, and Wu Xian thinks he completed the entrusting of Zi Yuan. He and Jiang Cheng arrive at Qinghe, and Wu Xian sees Yan Li treating the wounded. He calls her senior sister and tears up when she turns around.
