Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy Recap – Episode 2 – Shuofeng Da

This is second episode of Chinese drama Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy, Shuofeng tribe is destroyed as Shuofeng Heye lets Suqin Ziyan flee. His parents are killed, he becomes a slave.

Shuofeng Da declares Suqin’s territory is their new home after massacring the whole tribe. Shuofeng Heye finds the survival Suqin Ziyan is going to flee, he doesn’t stop her. Shuofeng Da orders Shuo Fengtai to chase her. Shuo Fengtai’s head is shot by a cavalryman when he targets Suqin Ziyan. Helan Dao says that Muru’s cuirassiers are coming.

Suqin Ziyan reports to Muru cuirassier what Shuofeng tribe did on her family. Shuo Fengtai’s wife commits suicide at Shuo Fengtai’s funeral. Shuofeng Da whips his son as he didn’t follow his order and murders his brother. He says that the wolf will damage the whole group if he is merciful.

A Muru cuirassier arrives Shuofeng’s territory, everyone kneels down except Shuofeng Da. The Muru cuirassier asks why they left their previous territory which was arranged three hundred years ago. Shuofeng Da says they cannot live. The Muru cuirassier states he will give them a night to prepare, he will kill everybody except women and children who aren’t taller than horseback.

Shuofeng Da thinks it’s unfair on them to make them live on desert land. But, Suqin tribe can enjoy the land which is full of water and grasses. It’s world of strong eat weak. Muru cuirassier claims the rule cannot be broken and balance is needed, otherwise the eight tribes will be gone. Shuofeng Da tells him that he is leader and begs him to forgive others, but Muru cuirassier rejects it and says the legislation was enacted.

Shuofeng Da chastises himself for taking people into death, but his brothers thank him for taking them going home. He lets Longze Danzhu takes women and children fleeing, but she is loath to part with him and claims she can fight also. He tells Shuofeng Heye he is his last hope and lets him take care of his mother, Shuofeng Heye admits his mistake and cries.

The Muru cuirassiers arrive ultimately. Shuofen’s warriors falls down one by one, Luoze Danzhu’s back is stabbed by spear. Shuofeng Da’s belly is cut by sword and dies after his head is hit. Shuofeng Heye and other children see their parents falling down. They cry beside their relative’s body after Muru cuirassiers leave.

A group of people capture them with ropes and sells them to a merchant as slavers. Suoda Meng tells the merchant that the boy is tieqin which is sea and land’s king who is destined to pull out iron king sword which stays in volcano, he hopes he can take him out of grassland, so that grassland can avoid ruined.

Shuofeng Heye hears a rumor from a slave that Sixth prince’s mother isn’t a human being, he recalls fortuneteller told him the secret of Emperor Ming of Duan’s son.
