In the 8th episode of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim Korean Drama, Young Joon wants to overcome the fear of kiss to Ms. Kim, but he fails until she confesses her love and kisses him. But he still hides a secret to her, and tells Yoo Sik that he cannot speak out as it’s really painful to them.

Ms. Kim asks Young Joon at street in the evening why he pushed her away when they almost kissed. He thinks for a while, and says that he sometimes sees a ghost when closing eyes. She is shocked, and worries about him, thinking it’s related to his nightmare. He points to her back, and tells her there is a ghost behind her. She is startled, and realizes he is playing around with her, thinking he is so mean.
The team members have dinner at the guest house, Joon Hwan asks Gwi Nam if he works while drinking, Gwi Nam claims working is the best drinking snack, and it won’t give him a hangover next day. Ji An stares at Gwi Nam with disgusting.
Chi In asks Cheol if he doesn’t want to drink, Cheol claims he needs to be prepared for any situation, and is standby. Young Ok laughs, and thinks he must not be able to date anyone, while taking a leaf. Se Ra is tempted by him, and asks him for his idea type. He is shy, and says he likes cute women. She is happy, and thinks he loves her.

Young Joon shows up with Ms. Kim, Chi In comes to him, and takes off his coat to wear for him. Young Joon declines it, and says that he was quite a meaningful time. Ji Ah asks him what he means, when everyone stare at Young Joon and Ms. Kim. Ms. Kim explains that they talked about the overall affairs and duties of their company while taking shelter from the rain.
But Ms. Seol doesn’t think so, and guesses they went off and ate beef without them, because they only had pork. Chi In stops her, and tells Young Joon that he is going to grill him some meat. But he finds out there isn’t any meat inside the box, after opening it.
Ms. Seol reveals she grilled it all, Chi In is shocked, and claims that he told her to leave some for Young Joon. She emphasizes that she assumed he did it himself. Chi In asks Young Joon what they need to do since they doesn’t have any food left, and wants to jump into water to catch fish. Gwi Nam volunteers to buy some pork, but Ji An points out that it costs one hour to return.

Ms. Kim asks Young Joon to eat the ramen when there are some on the table. He says that it wasn’t bad after tasting it. She thinks it will be nice to taste the grilled meat since it’s the first time he joined workout. He thinks she is disappointed as well.
Young Joon is scalded by ramen, Ms. Kim tears paper from his bowl, and tells him to take it to eat. He thinks it’s a good idea after tasting it, and asks her to put some kimchi for him.
Ms. Kim gets a message from Young Joon who permits her to dream of him, when she is going to sleep. She texts back to thank him for his permission. He thinks he should take a trip to her dream and laughs.
She sees his car off from distance, and calls him asking where he goes. He tells her that he has a meeting, but she thinks there isn’t a meeting on the schedule, and wants to follow him. But he says that it’s his job, and tells her to enjoy the workshop.

Then she sees the message he sent asking her to visit him later. She is happy, and is startled by Se Ra from behind. Se Ra asks her what kind of message made her so bashful, and thinks someone asked her out on a date. She denies, and reveals she got an ad from a grocery store saying that shrimp from Chile are on sale.
Young Joon keeps checking his phone in the car, and grumbles, “What’s the hold up?” Cheol says that he just follow the speed limit while driving. Young Joon is embarrassed, and says that he is doing a fine job. Then he laughs after getting a message from Ms. Kim, and pretends to do face exercise when Cheol thinks he looks weird.
Yoo Sik thinks they pulled off something nobody couldn’t after seeing off the client, and wants to embrace Young Joon. But Young Joon stops him, and asks him if he has some time. Yoo Sik says that he has many time, Young Joon asks him to go grocery shopping together, and reveals he wants to barbecue at his house.
Yoo Sik orders all parts of beef and pork at market, and puts them into the car. But Young Joon closes the door, and asks him to see tomorrow. Yoo Sik thought he was part of it, and realizes that he just used him. He yells at him, and thinks he is very mean.
Chi In asks Ms. Kim to have pork back-bone stew with soju after returning office. But she says that she has a appointment. Se Ra thinks she is very suspicious, and guesses she is going on a date. But Chi In disagrees, and says that Ms. Kim has no time to date as she is busy working for Young Joon. Ms. Seol is shocked, and thinks she is going to work with Young Joon again without weekend. Se Ra yells at Ji Ah, and says that it’s her future, after Ms. Kim resigns. Chi In announces to talk about Ji Ah’s future with soju the pork back-bone stew place. But they all leave.
Ms. Kim thinks it’s not special, so that she doesn’t need to dress up too much after taking bath. But she dresses up too much then, and asks Hardworking Cow what he thinks. She goes to get rid of dress which she just dressed from him, and says that she will clean the mess later.
Young Joon is barbecue, and bitten by mosquitoes, when she arrives. He thinks she is pretty while she comes to him, and tells her that he prepared grilled meat with charcoal fire which she mentioned. But the meat is burned. She thinks it’s fine, and asks him to grill another. But he tells her that there is no more left, and looks at the burned meat in the barrel. He wants to buy some more meat to grill, but she says, “No, thanks!” He thinks she is mad of him.
He regrets he didn’t give her grilled meat with charcoal fire, but she says that pizza is ok. He tells her there is something stuck on her face while they eat pizza, and wants to kiss her. But he is startled by his previous nightmare. She laughs, and thinks he is going to push her again.
Just then Yoo Sik breaks into, and blames him for leaving him behind. He laughs, and says that he brought the drinks when they’re enjoying pizza together, and wants to leave. But Ms. Kim claims that she was about to head out, and flees. Yoo Sik kneels down in front of Young Joon, and thinks he made a huge mistake. Young Joon looks at him with anger.
Ms. Kim thinks there is something when she is outside the house. She runs into Yoo Sik in the elevator next day. He asks her if he interrupted them last night, she is nervous, and says that there was nothing to interrupt. Then he almost trips while getting off the elevator, and thinks he didn’t sprain because of new calcium supplement.
She asks him, “Did you see Young Joon’s scar on his ankles?” He reveals he saw it on both ankles once, when they played football together, and thinks his ankles were tied to something. He asks her why he got the scars if he wasn’t the boy she looked for.
Young Joon shows up when she is thinking about the scars he got in the office, she greets him. He thinks about her face expression, and guesses it was because of the kiss yesterday. He grumbles that he wants to do it either. Ji Ah shows up while taking tea, and asks him what he wants to do. He yells, and says that he wants to do a meeting, asking her to call Chi In to his office for weekly briefing.
Chi In is enjoying Ms. Seol’s cookie in the office, and claims it’s melting in his mouth. Joon Hwan asks her if she prepared it herself, she denies, and it’s a gift from Yoo Sik. She leaves three cookies for Se Ra since she is outside, but Chi In thinks she is so cheap, and asks her why she gave them two each. She tells him that she likes Se Ra because she is cute and charismatic. Cheol smiles after hearing what she said.
Just them, Ji Ah shows up, and tells Chi In that Young Joon wants him to do weekly briefing in his office. Chi In is nervous, and tells others that he still can’t get used to it, even if he do it each week. Then he gives Young Joon the draft of the upcoming festival Yumyung Land, and tells him the idea is romantic night. Young Joon is startled by the image of kiss. Chi In says that he will ask promoting team to change the idea. But Young Joon asks him to process with the concept, and thinks he should explain the kiss to Ms. Kim.
Se Ra asks others what it is when seeing the cookies, Chi In tells her that it’s someone who likes her left for her. Just then Cheol passes by with tea, she recalls what he did for her yesterday, and texts him to thank him. She thinks he should told her privately before giving her, and laughs. But Joon Hwan tells her it’s from Ms. Seol. Chi In asks her if she thought there is a guy having a crush on her, and laughs. She yells, and claims that she never thought that.
She runs Cheol outside, he asks her what she wants to thank him for. She claims she just feel grateful of eating three meals a day. He doesn’t know what she means, and leaves. She asks herself why he picked up her bra pad for her yesterday, and thinks she lost her peace of mind. Then she recalls he likes cute women.
Young Joon is thinking about how to explain the kiss to Ms. Kim. Ms. Kim gives the prize to Ji Ah, and tells her that she and Mr. Ko Won. Ji Ah is very happy when taking the prize. But Ms. Kim tells her to give the prize to Mr. Ko as well. Jin Ah isn’t happy, but she accepts her order.
Ms. Kim feels hungry, and takes out the chocolate Young Joon gave her. But Young Joon eats it, and claims his blood sugar is low. She tells him that it’s last piece, but he doesn’t think there is any problem, and tells her that he will overcome it.
Ji Ah gives the prize to Mr. Ko at the hallway, but he thinks she doesn’t deserve the tablet computer as she left him on the tree and ran away during the game. He asks her to take his secret to her grave, but she is mad of him, and thinks she isn’t dying anytime soon. He laughs, and claims he is going to work, asking her when she will move in. She says that she will be there in a few says. He thinks it’s good, and tells her that she should give him half of it, since she always has leftovers. She loses her temper, and thinks she shouldn’t move there.
Chin In is startled by Se Ra’s new hairstyle, and asks her what’s up with it while pointing to her hair. She tells him that she changed her previous hairstyle to flaunt her cute charm. But Chi In points out that her hairstyle looks like Han Ga In’s hair in movie “Once Upon a Time in High School”. Mr. Yang laughs, Chi In thinks he resonated with him, and asks Mr. Yang if she is a piece of work. Se Ra warns to give Chi In a lesson, and stares at Mr. Yang, saying that she will forgive him because she is cute.
Se Ra asks herself why she cannot get Mr. Yang out of her head when she is in the washroom, and thinks picking her bra pad isn’t a big deal. She ties her hair, and says that she won’t care about what he says, hitting face herself.
Ms. Choi asks Sung Yeon, “Did you read book in the study?” He tells his mother that it’s not book, but diary, when they’re at home, and reveals the diary is written by a girl he met when he was kidnapped. Ms. Choi doesn’t know what he is talking about, and tells him not to believe what others say. He tells her that the girl is Ms. Kim. She is shocked by his son’s words.
Ms. Kim is curious what happened to Young Joon in the past while recalling he said that he would overcome it. Just then she gets a call from Ms. Choi who asks to meet up.
Ms. Choi asks Ms. Kim, “Did she and Sung Yeon meet before, when they were kids?” She admits, and reveals she realized it was him after reading what he wrote. Ms. Choi asks her to tells her what she knows about the case. Ms. Kim tells her that they were locked up in a tiny room, and he tried to make her feel better when she was scared. Ms. Choi tears up, and asks her if her son was ok. Ms. Kim says that he was ok, and brave. Ms. Choi asks her, “Did he get very cold in there?” and reveals he gets cold easily. Ms. Kim says that he was wearing a sky blue shirt and some sort of a jacket. Ms. Choi denies, and points out it was a cardigan, revealing that every day has been like toreture for her family, and her sons attacked each other since then. Ms. Kim asks her how Young Joon lost his childhood memories. She reveals he fainted, and couldn’t remeber a thing.
Just then Sung Yeon shows up, and asks Ms. Kim to stay for dinner. But she claims she is a bit swamped at work. He asks her to hold on a minute to let him get changed, and wants to see her out. She sees his feet is without any scar.
Sung Yeon tells Ms. Kim that he likes winter when seeing her off, but she thinks he gets cold easily. He denies. She recalls Ms. Choi told her that Sung Yeon gets cold easily when she is in the bus, but he didn’t actually get cold easily. She remembers that Young Joon told her that he didn’t want to catch a cold.
Young Joon is reading Ms. Kim diary, and recalls she wanted to marry him. But he told her that she will be supposed to marry someone she loves when she grows up. She yelled at him, and thought that he could love her when he grow up. He had to accept it.
Just then Sung Yeon shows up, and asks Young Joon not to touch it as it’s really precious to him. Young Joon puts it down, and wants to leave. Sung Yeon thanks to him as he reunited with Ms. Kim. But Young Joon claims she will always be beside him. Sung Yeon disagrees, and tells him to see who she will be with.
Young Joon runs into Ms. Choi in the living room, and tells her not to call Ms. Kim again, and says that she is very busy.
Yoo Sik thinks Young Joon didn’t drink because of Ms. Kim when they have dinner at a restaurant. Yoo Sik tells him that people are naked in their eyes when they’re in relationship. Young Joon thinks he is perverted. Yoo Sik denies, and thinks he should be completely honest with Ms. Kim, as she took off all her clothes, but he is still wearing a piece of underwear. Yoo Sik tells him that the lie only gets bigger with time, and jeopardizes their relationship. Young Joon asks him what he lied to his ex, Yoo Sik reveals he told her that she was his first lady, and laughs that she found out it until wedding day. Yoo Sik tells him that he should tell her everything before start dating, even if the underwear he had it on for a long time. But Young Joon tells him that the truth is too painful to know. Yoo Sik sighs.
Ms. Kim is waken up by a bad dream with Young Joon, and thinks her memory is getting more and more confusing. She gets a message from him who asks her, “Are you asleep?” She texts backs that she just woke up. He says that he saw her light suddenly turning on. She goes to window, and sees him standing outside, while greeting her.
He hands over a gift to her, after she came to him. She laughs after seeing a box of caramels, he tells her it’s an apology for eating her caramel, saying that he wanted to see her. She is moved, and says that she keeps feeling like crying after he left.
Sung Yeon sees Ms. Kim laughs when she is staying with Young Joon on the stage, he asks her to go over his script for the lecture. But he holds her hand when Young Joon shows up. Young Joon is upset, and leaves. She follows him, and tries to explain it. But Mr. Yang shows up, and tells Young Joon that chairman to see him.
Ms. Choi thanks Ms. Kim because she helped Sung Yeon show himself to the public, when he is getting interviewed on the stage. But Sung Yeon tells others that Ms. Kim is his first love when she comes to Young Joon. She chases Young Joon, and asks him for talk.
She tells him that everything he saw is misunderstanding when they’re outside. He tells her that she doesn’t have to explain it as he told her that he’d bear everything. But she insists in explaining it, because she likes him. He hugs her when seeing tears in her eyes, and wants to kiss her. But he cannot overcome his bad memories, so that she kisses him.
