Huai Zhu is taken away in Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Love In Pavilion episode 2. She worries about Masked Man. He’s fine after he fought Poison King. He joins Huai Zhu and he shakes hands with her. They go to see Poison King. Masked Man reveals he came for the monster core of Bai Mu when Poison King wishes him to leave.
Poison King knows Masked Man does it for saving his people. But he wants to protect his nephew Bai Mu. Bai Mu appears with Du Niangzi. Poison King scolds Bai Mu. He asks him to go home. Bai Mu agrees to sacrifice himself after he got the promise from Masked Man.
He walks forward. Poison King stops his nephew. He tells him that he will take care of it for him. But Bai Mu reminds his uncle that he needs to guard the innocent monsters like Du Niangzi. He takes out his monster core and he claims that he doesn’t regret for what he did for his lover.
Masked Man takes over Bai Mu’s monster core. Du Niangzi runs to Bai Mu. She supports him when he’s tired. She cries and she feels guilty. He smiles to tell her to live at her new home. He passes away. Bai Mu turns into a little spider. Huai Zhu takes the spider. She hands over the spider to Du Niangzi. She reminds her that she can practice with Bai Mu.
Huai Zhu resolves the case. She finds Qin Lan. Qin Lan wonders if those people got rid of Bai Mu. Masked Man’s brother brags that they defeated Poison King. Masked Man tries to hand over the water to Huai Zhu. But she takes him away after she found out that he was poisoned. Qin Lan and the two brothers realize that something happened to the two.
Huai Zhu gives the medicine to Masked Man. She tells him that he will recover if he takes the medicine. She returns the scabbard to him. They say goodbye. He sees the message she left to him. She asks for a meeting up in the pavilion.
Poison King sees the people off. The monster persuades the king not to let the people go. But Poison King rejects it because he knows the people are helping them. He sees through the identity of Masked Man. He knows what the guy used was the king’s sword. He believes that the chief of Nangong Clan will be killed.
Some monster girls flee in the woods. But they’re shot by Nangong Chui and his soldiers. He catches the older sister and he tries to shoot the younger sister. The older sister asks the guy to forgive her younger sister. She’s ready to sacrifice herself.
Nangong Chui reveals they plan to scoop out the monster cores from the monsters with the biggest grievance. He tortures the younger sister. The older sister is furious to curse him. He’s happy with it because she made it in the end. Someone cuts off the rope. She saves the older sister.
Masked Lady appears. She’s WangQuan Zui. She comes from Mask Group. The one who comes with her is Yang Yitan. Nangong Chui recognizes the two. He asks his archers to shoot them. Yang Yitan takes a break in the tree when he teaches his student Wangquan Zui to fight.
She defeats the two enemies. She complains it to Yang Yitan that he doesn’t work. He praises her. Nangong Chui is furious to ask the two bodyguards to attack Wangquan Zui. Yang Yitan uses his fan to defeat the enemies. He catches the arrow when Nangong Chui shoots Wangquan Zui. Wangquan Zui gives Nangong Chui a lesson.
Masked Man takes a break at the temple. Someone calls him Hong Ye. It seems that the person is his father. His father Wangquan Shouzhuo asks him to stop the eternal night. Wangquan Hongye wakes up from the nightmare. He takes off his mask. I find out that he’s good looking.
Wangquan Zui returns with the snacks when the two guys are studying something. She asks her brother Hong Ye to come out because she bought him some jujube paste cake. He walks out of his room. She gives him the map of Nangong Sword Furnace. She reveals he needs to break the formation for getting the furnace.
We go to Divinity Fire Villa. Huai Zhu is studying flowers in her room. She hears laughter of her father Dongfang Churi. Chu Ri is playing cards with Qin Lan. He looks happy. It seems that the two plan to arrange a husband for Huai Zhu. Qin Lan reveals Huai Zhu doesn’t like nobles. She adds that her sister likes the chief of Mask Group.
Huai Zhu scolds her father for only knowing to have fun. She reminds him that he needs to drink herb soup. She tries to go to take the herb soup. But the girl Yang Yan appears with the herb soup. Hong Ye returns to Wangquan Villa. The servant reports to him that Nangong Ye visited him with some people.
Hong Ye’s father is the chief of Yiqi Alliance. But he goes missing. Hong Ye asked the servant to look for his father. But the servant doesn’t find the master. Hong Ye told the members of Yiqi Alliance that his father went on a trip. But Nangong Ye doesn’t believe the lie. He visited the villa for replacing Hong Ye’s father.
Hong Ye goes to the meeting room. Nangong Ye and other directors are waiting for him. Nangong Ye persuades Hong Ye to attack Nanchui. But the follower reports to Hong Ye that Poison King sent the letter of surrender and the monster core of Bai Mu. Hong Ye decides not to attack Nanchui.
Nangong Ye returns home. He gets angry because Hong Ye ruined his plan. But he looks fine. He thinks the monster core was coincidence. The follower offers to kill Hong Ye. Huai Zhu makes Yang Yan some tea. Yang Yan reveals her boyfriend Mu Xiaowu was arrested by Nangong Clan because he released a monster. She cries. Huai Zhu comforts her friend. She learns that Yang Yan is pregnant.

Nangong Ye and his son Nangong Chui are in the Furnace Room. Nangong Ye reveals other members wished him to replace Hong Ye. Nangong Chui persuades his father to do it. Because he thinks Hong Ye is just a coward. But Nangong Ye worries that the guy conceals his real strength. He thinks it’s not the right time to replace Hong Yi. He decides to visit Dongfang family for letting them join him.
Qin Lan runs into Huai Zhu’s room after Yang Yan left. She notes that her sister looks unhappy. Huai Zhu decides to help Yang Yan because she’s her best friend. Nangong Ye visits her. He asks her to help him kill Hong Ye. He promises anything to her. Hong Ye receives an invitation from Nangong Ye. Nangong Ye invites Hong Ye to attend his sword banquet. Hong Ye decides to attend it. Because he plans to be Nangong Ye’s enemy.
