Jin Xiu tells Hong Ning that he rejected the goddess’s proposal in Love Never Fails Chinese Drama Episode 10. She’s lost and she tries to leave. He stops her and he claims that she will keep her promise. She’s very happy to declare that she won’t let them take him away.
Hong Ning intends to return to Baizhou Mountain. But Jin Xiu reveals someone will escort her. Chrysanthemum begs Jin Xiu not to let him do the job. Jin Xiu explains it to Chrysanthemum that he gave Hong Ning to him because he trusts him. Chrysanthemum worries that he will be caught. Jin Xiu threatens Chrysanthemum that he doesn’t have to come back if he’s caught. Chrysanthemum reveals he wants to go to attend Yanchi Banquet. He doesn’t believe that Jin Xiu will be heartless to him. But Jin Xiu disappears. Hong Ning is happy to thank Chrysanthemum.
The guests at the banquet see the aurora in the sky. They worry about it. The aurora is created by Kun Lun. Lu Yao fights him when she persuades him to stop. Jin Xiu shows up. He stops the two. The aurora disappears. Heavenly Emperor is watching the galaxy. The bodyguard reports to him that Jin Xiu just went missing.
Heavenly Emperor and Heavenly Queen arrive at the banquet. Heavenly Emperor gives a speech. He praises Lu Yao and Kun Lun for preparing the banquet. Lu Yao feels honored. The immortals drink. The dancers appear. They dance on the stage. Kun Lun takes a look at Lu Yao. She takes a look at Jin Xiu.
Heavenly Emperor takes Heavenly Empress to walk to North Heavenly King. The king asks the emperor about the marriage. The empress reveals her husband has agreed to it. The king is very happy after he heard the good news. He promises to give Golden Lotus Dew to the emperor. The emperor laughs since he has achieved his goal.
Lu Yao joins Jin Xiu. She asks him not to get angry because of the rain. She notes that he’s not happy. He drinks with her for thanking her for helping him. She thinks he’s too polite to her. She tries to confess her feelings to him. But Kun Lun interrupts her. He informs Jin Xiu that Tai Yi is looking for him. Jin Xiu leaves. Lu Yao tries to leave. But Jin Xiu stops her. He thinks she sensed Jin Xiu’s politeness. But she tells him to think about who will marry him. He brags it to her that many fairies want to marry him. But she teases him. Matchmaker thinks the two are close. Kun Lun and Lu Yao deny it. They’re angry to leave.
Hong Ning tells Chrysanthemum that Jin Xiu promised her that he will marry her as long as she becomes a fairy. He mentions Lu Yao and Jin Xiu’s marriage. She reveals Jin Xiu is going to reject the marriage. He gives the Golden Chrysanthemum Honey to her. He asks her to taste it. He wishes her not to take it to heart if he offended her. She brings up the thunderbolts and she thinks he did it for completing the task. She asks him how many thunderbolts she needs to experience. He claims that there’s no thunderbolt. But she knows she has 36 thunderbolts she doesn’t experience. She asks him to arrange it if he has time. He flatters her. He thinks she can leave now because the banquet ended. He tells her to fly away. But she doesn’t know how to fly. He gets angry and he thinks she cannot become Jin Xiu’s wife. He stops her from drinking his honey.
The maid brings Golden Lotus Dew to North Heavenly King at the court. The king orders to send the dew to Central Heaven. The chancellor persuades the king not to give the dew to someone else. The king points out that Lu Yao won’t be goddess of Central Heaven if he doesn’t give out the dew. He wants to be above the four oceans all. But the chancellor thinks the case isn’t simple since Central Heaven wishes to get the dew so much. The king rejects the chancellor’s proposal. He leaves the court.
The chancellor runs into Lu Yao. He asks her if she actually wants to marry Jin Xiu. She’s not happy with his words. He promises to help her as long as she doesn’t agree to it. But she tells him that she wants to marry Jin Xiu. He thinks she doesn’t have to sacrifice herself. But she wants to guard North Heavenly Realm. He persuades her not to compromise herself. But she thinks he should know his position.
Chrysanthemum takes Hong Ning home. He returns to Heavenly Realm. He asks Jin Xiu if he told Hong Ning that he will reject the marriage for her. He thinks his boss fooled the innocent girl. Jin Xiu explains it to Chrysanthemum that his father looked into him after he rejected the marriage. He thinks he shouldn’t go to see Hong Ning before she becomes a fairy. She tells Chrysanthemum that the girl will be fairy soon.
White Camellia visits Hong Ning when she’s practicing. He asks her where she went after the Lantern Festival. He explains it to her that he wanted to see her. He tries to give the present to her. But she rejects to accept it. He mentions the rumor about the marriage of Jin Xiu and the goddess. He thinks the guy told a lie to her. But she believes that Jin Xiu wouldn’t lie to her. He reminds her that Central Heaven won’t forgive Jin Xiu if Jin Xiu gets together with her. But she knows she will get together with Jin Xiu as long as she becomes a fairy. White Camellia is lost to leave.
Kun Lun tortures the flower in Jin Xiu’s palace. Jin Xiu takes away the flower. Kun Lun asks his brother about Hong Ning. Jin Xiu reveals the girl is practicing. Kun Lun praises Jin Xiu for changing the Red Camellia. He asks him if he rejected the marriage for Hong Ning.
He thinks the girl is very cute. But he reminds Jin Xiu that Hong Ning is a monster. Jin Xiu believes that Hong Ning will be a fairy. The thunderbolts are going to come. Hong Ning is scared even if Jin Xiu taught her how to avoid the thunderbolts. She wishes him to watch her in heaven.
Jin Xiu appears. Hong Ning asks him if she can pass the heaven trial. He reminds her that she can regenerate even if she’s hit. But she worries that she will forget him if her fundamental is hurt. He asks her to trust him. He promises to give the fairy identity to her.
Hong Ning lets Jin Xiu leave. She turns into a red camellia. She’s hit by the thunderbolt. It hurts. He worries about her when he watches her. But Heavenly Emperor summons him. He has to leave. Jin Xiu visits Heavenly Emperor. Heavenly Emperor shows Golden Lotus Dew. Jin Xiu claims that he and the goddess are just friends. But Heavenly Emperor thinks Jin Xiu’s marriage doesn’t need love. He reminds him that he will recover as long as he gets the dew. Jin Xiu promises to go to the battlefield even if he doesn’t have the dew. Heavenly Emperor scolds Jin Xiu. He thinks he will be heavenly emperor in the future. He tells him that his life and his love don’t belong to him. Jin Xiu gets his father’s point. But he claims that he only wants to marry the girl. He promises to experience 81 thunderbolts.
Hong Ning wakes up. She calls Jin Xiu. He’s experiencing the thunderbolts. He remembers his father told him that the thunderbolts are just the beginning. Hong Ning goes to South Heaven Gate after she passed the trial. Apricot and Shao Yao are guarding the gate. Apricot asks Hong Ning to go to deliver flower message. Hong Ning tells Apricot that she only knows to bring trouble to Jin Xiu. Apricot gets angry.
Hong Ning goes to look for Jin Xiu. She doesn’t find him. She returns to Broken Flower Garden. She’s tired to lie in her bed. Jin Xiu shows up. He uses his divinity power to heal her. He asks her where he went. He reveals he just went to do a little thing. She gets up from the bed. She reveals she was almost dying. He hugs her. She tears up. She mentions what he said that he will give the fairy identity to her. He gives the fairy identity to her in person.

Chrysanthemum takes a look at Hong Ning. He’s surprised that she became a fairy. She brags to him that she wants to be a goddess. He asks her if she knows the conditions for becoming a goddess. He shows the credit Heavenly Empress and Lu Yao took. He thinks she doesn’t want to be frustrated. But she’s not frustrated at all. She plans to work hard. He wonders why she wants to marry Jin Xiu. She reveals she does it because of love. He points out that there’re many girls wanting to marry Jin Xiu. She claims that Jin Xiu loves her as well. She brags that the guy wishes her to return the favor to him through marrying him. It makes Chrysanthemum want to vomit. He praises Hong Ning.
Hong Ning thinks she just needs to become senior fairy for marrying Jin Xiu. Chrysanthemum tells her that it’s very hard. He admits that she’s very smart. He persuades not to have the dream. She begs him to help her.
