Klein Moretti becomes a Beyonder and he gets a good salary in Lord of Mysteries episode 2. He can improve life for his family. He receives his first task. He needs to go to look for the kidnapped kid with Leonard. Because Klein became a Seer. He doesn’t put in much effort to find Little Elliott. But the problem is that the kidnappers are out of control. Leonard is powerful as a senior. He kills the two kidnappers who are already monsters. Leonard intended to test Klein. But Klein didn’t show his special abilities. Leonard is disappointed.
Klein returns home after he completed the task. He plans to show off the money he got to Melissa Moretti in Lord of Mysteries. But he’s trapped into the nightmare. He discovers that Antigonus Family’s Notebook was close to him. But he missed the chance in Lord of Mysteries.
Klein Handles the Kidnapping Case with Leonard
Klein Moretti visits Dunn Smith in Lord of Mysteries. Dunn Smith praises Klein for getting used to the Beyonder powers. Klein is shy to laugh. He thinks he’s a very special person. But Dunn reminds the rookie that special means danger. He suggests that Klein shouldn’t look into the stuff he can see. Klein takes the captain’s advice. Dunn gives the boy the advance on his four weeks’ salary. It’s 12 pounds. Klein takes over the salary. He remembers his brother’s salary is six pounds. He thinks he’s rich now.
Klein buys a cane from the store. He walks around Welch McGovern’s house for recalling the whereabouts of Antigonus Family’s Notebook. He runs into Leonard Mitchell. Leonard invites Klein into the carriage. Klein and Leonard are in the carriage. Klein learns that he and Leonard need to go to look for Little Elliott who’s the only son of tobacco merchant Mr. Vickroy. The little boy was kidnapped in the morning. Klein mentions the Nighthawks only deal with Beyonder cases. But Leonard reveals the person is their regular customer.
He gives the clothes of the little boy to Klein. Klein begins to work. He stabs the clothes with his cane. He turns of his Spiritual Vision. He asks the cane to look for Little Elliott’s location. The cane begins to work. We see Little Elliott with someone. But the little boy leaves the person. He walks into the alley. Klein guides the driver to drive the carriage. They arrive at the house.
The Kidnappers Are Out of Control
Klein and Leonard walk into the house. The cane leads them to the room on the second floor. Klein sees two kidnappers and a hostage in the room. He and Leonard break into the room. The two kidnappers pick up their guns. They shoot Leonard. But they’re not the rivals of the poet. Leonard takes the two kidnappers down. Klein goes to save the kid. But the feather appears. It turns the two kidnappers into monsters. Leonard kills one of the monsters. He walks out of the room. He asks Klein to take care of another monster.
Klein protects Little Elliott. He aims at the monster in the cane’s help. The monster appears in front of Klein suddenly. Klein shoots the monster. He breathes heavily. Leonard learns that it was Klein’s first time to shoot. Klein tries to explain it. But Leonard covers his right eye. His left eye uses an ability. The monster breaks through the roof. He tries to flee. But he’s dragged into Leonard’s realm.

Leonard appears in his realm. He begins to recite a poem. He summons a red tornado. The monster is devoured by the tornado. Leonard returns to the real world after he let the monster fall asleep. He touches Little Elliott’s head. He comforts him that he will forget the memory. Klein has a sudden headache. He’s in a space. The big eyes look down on him. They murmur. Klein sees himself opening a door. He wakes up from the nightmare. Leonard asks Klein if he found something new. Klein denies it. He realizes that he came to the place before.

The butler comes to pick up Little Elliott. The little boy leaves. Leonard checks the dead body of the monster. He thinks Klein’s shooting skills are good. He suggests that Klein shouldn’t approach the monster. Because he will be contaminated. He thinks the kidnapper took terrible potion. So he was out of control. Leonard tells Klein that he’s charming. But Klein thinks Leonard is weird. He leaves. Leonard has a talk with the angel. He thinks his new colleague isn’t special at all.
Klein Finds the Clue to Antigonus Family’s Notebook
Klein returns home. He thinks his sister will be happy if she knows he got a job. He opens the door. But he finds out that he’s still in the previous house. He hears strange noises. He walks to the room and he opens the door. He sees a notebook. The notebook tells Klein that everyone will die. Klein sees a Fool tarot card. He finds out that he’s standing on the tarot card after the notebook disappeared. Klein wakes up from the nightmare. He’s in his room. He figures it out that Antigonus Family’s Notebook is in the house across the street from the house of the kidnapping case.
