Belly is lying on the grass to enjoy the sunshine in The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2 episode 1. Conrad shows up. He splashes water on her. It makes her laugh. He tries to touch her necklace. Jeremiah interrupts Conrad. He thinks the two don’t have to show off their love. Because he knows they love each other. Susannah shows up with a bottle of wine. She tells Belly and Conrad that they’re a perfect match. Belly is very happy. Conrad catches the chance to kiss the girl.
Belly wakes up from the sweet dream in The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2. She finds out that she’s in the classroom. She reveals she didn’t get together with Conrad. Susannah is dead. The boy picks up the book for Belly. He returns the book to her. Belly says that she prefers to live in the dream because the reality is so hard. She and Conrad walk in the woods. She laughs and she thinks it’s not real. So he kisses her. He tells her that her smile is pretty. He holds her hand. She confesses it to him that Jeremiah fell for her.
Conrad stops after he heard what Belly said. He’s interested in Belly’s answer in The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2. She reveals she kissed the guy. He realizes that Belly and Jeremiah did it when he and Taylor were taking a bus. Belly explains it to Conrad that she kissed Jeremiah because he was cold to her. He apologizes to her. He wonders if she’s going to get together with Jeremiah. She comforts him that she wants to be his girlfriend. He catches the chance to offer to get together. It makes her laugh.

Steven’s friend shows up. He wonders when the party will begin. Taylor brags that she’s dating the lead singer. Steven mocks the lead singer Kelly. He reveals they chose the guy because he was cheap. Taylor invites Belly to attend the party. But Belly isn’t sure.
The teacher calls Belly. Belly follows the teacher to her office. The teacher mentions Belly’s grades have declined. She suggests that Belly should go to Finch College. Belly returns home. Jeremiah reveals his mother agreed to the treatment plan. He wants to tell the good news to Conrad. But Belly confesses it to Jeremiah that she kissed Conrad on the beach. She claims that she didn’t get together with Conrad. But it’s enough to make Jeremiah angry.
Jeremiah blames Belly for using him when she didn’t know Conrad’s feelings. She thinks she didn’t do anything wrong. She mentions she didn’t hurt him. But he asks her to leave his room. He tells her that Conrad will break her heart.
Laurel is about to go out. She takes a look at the group photo of her and Susannah. She and Belly receive the bad news that Susannah passed away. Belly and Conrad had fun on the beach. Belly cried after Jeremiah threw a fit to her. Conrad comforted Belly that everything will be fine. But she disagreed when she was cold to him. She thought they shouldn’t get together. She told him that it’s the only way to help Susannah. He took out a necklace. He put the necklace on her.
Belly touches her necklace. She goes to the school with her family. Steven graduates. He gives a perfect speech in front of the people. Someone calls Belly. It makes Belly turn around. Belly walked into Susannah’s room. Susannah paid attention to Belly’s necklace. She revealed Conrad had told the truth to her. Belly felt sorry. She worried that she will lose everyone. Susannah cheered Belly up. She got up from the bed for going to call a cleaner. But Belly hugged Susannah from her back. She asked her not to leave her.
Belly and Taylor walk out of the hall. Belly reveals Steven’s speech healed her soul. She plans to join the Volleyball Training Camp. Taylor is excited. She wants to introduce her boyfriend Milo to Belly. But Steven thinks it’s not a good idea. He mentions he smelled Milo’s body odor when he gave a speech on the stage. He invites Belly to attend his party. He gives his car key to her. He lets her drive the car. Belly and Steven go to the restaurant. They have lunch with their parents. The family is happy with Steven’s speech. But Laurel brings up how she met Susannah.
Belly and Steven leave after they finished eating. John learns that his wife doesn’t plan to promote her book. Laurel explains it to John that she doesn’t want to get benefits from Susannah. She’s sad after Susannah passed away. John tells his wife a joke. It makes her feel better. Belly plans to go to the party with Taylor. She chooses a super hot dress. Conrad called Belly. They still treated each other as friends even if they broke up. He taught her how to solve the math problem. Steven walked into Belly’s room. He learned that his sister was talking with Conrad. He left.
Belly reveals the T-shirt belongs to Conrad. Taylor suggests that Belly should forget the guy. Steven is about to leave with Belly and Taylor for the party. Laurel asks her son not to drink. Taylor drinks with the members of Volleyball Training Camp. She reveals Belly is going to join them. The members welcome Belly. A handsome guy shows up behind Belly. Taylor is happy to tell Belly that it’s time to forget Conrad. Belly remembers she had a talk with Conrad. He revealed that his father cheated on his mother. She told a secret to him that she’s going to be the captain of Volleyball Training Camp.
Belly says goodbye to her friends. She finds the guy. She has a good talk with him. She learns that he was the guy who picked up the book for her. He invites her to drink with him. She rejects it. Taylor and Belly watch Milo’s show with the people. Taylor brags that Milo wrote the song for her. But Steven points out that Milo covered the song. Belly reveals it was so hard when she talked with the boy Cory. Milo rips his T-shirt when he sings. Steven takes off his T-shirt for winning Milo. But he hits Belly’s head after he jumped. She leaves the party.
Belly went out to throw away the trash. She talked with Conrad over the phone. She mentioned her parents’ marriage. She thought Laurel wouldn’t care for it even if John cheated on her. Because there’s no romance in their marriage. She asked Conrad about Jeremiah. She was told that the guy is fine. But Jeremiah didn’t text her back after she texted him. She knew she hurt the boy deeply. Belly told Conrad that she wishes to watch stars with him. He has same feelings.
Belly sits with Cory. They watch the stars together. She tries to kiss him after he took the stuff off her hair. But he avoids her. She learns that he has a crush on her friend. Belly returns to the party. But Steven splashes beer on her. She thinks the party is terrible. She refuses to drive him home. He cannot stand it. He mentions Conrad and Jeremiah didn’t come to his party because of her. She’s furious to tell him that she loves Conrad deeply. He realizes that he said something wrong.
Belly tries to leave the party. Taylor stops her friend. She suggests that Belly shouldn’t listen to what Steven said. But Belly cries. She knows what her brother said is right. She decides to face the problem on her own. She refuses to let Taylor accompany her. Taylor has to give Belly a hug. Belly leaves the house. She gets in the car. She tears up when she drives.
