Laura is at home in The Girlfriend episode 1. She talks with the employee Harriet over the phone. Harriet cries because she mistakes Laura for firing her. Laura denies it and she asks Harriet to use the tracking number. She hangs up and she wonders why Harriet couldn’t do her job well. She walks to the mirror and she tries on the clothes. She hears a sound so that she puts the clothes back. She follows the sound and she goes downstairs. She sees a broken glass. She thinks the cat Moses did it. Sh carries the cat.
Laura
Laura enters the room. She takes the swimming goggles. She swims in the pool. Someone catches her in the water. The swimming goggles fall. Laura finds out that the person is her son Daniel. She’s very happy. Daniel thinks her mother is still strong. Laura laughs to hug her son.
Laura and Daniel are in the sauna room. She’s very happy after her son came back. He blames her for ignoring him. But she knows he didn’t sleep at home. She figures it out that he has a new girlfriend. She guesses the girl likes to do hot Yoga. He denies it and he reveals the girl is very different. He’s very happy when he talks about the girl. He thinks Laura will like the girl because Laura is like the girl.
Laura talks with Isabella about her son when she prepares the meal in the kitchen. She complains it to her friend that Daniel never talked about a girl in such a way. But Isabella brings up that Laura had many boyfriends when she was young. Laura talks back that Isabella wasn’t single as well. She reveals she’s nervous. Isabella comforts her friend that the girl will like her.
Isabella talks about the girl’s name “Cherry”. She guesses the girl worked as a stripper in the school ever. Cherry shows up with Daniel when she blames Isabella. She prepares a bouquet of flowers for Laura. Laura gives Cherry a hug. Cherry notices that Isabella is staring at her. She reports it to Laura. Isabella explains it to the girl that she did it because she’s utterly captivating. She leaves.
Cherry hands over the flowers to Laura. Laura thanks Cherry. Howard shows up. He teases Cherry. It promotes her to have a revenge plan. He apologizes to her and he introduces himself to her. Laura takes Cherry to her office upstairs. Cherry notices the painting on the wall. She guesses it comes from a famous painter. But Howard thinks it’s just an expensive trash.
Laura goes to close the door because she worries that Moses runs out of the house through the window. She drinks with her family and the new girl. Laura notices that her son puts his hand on Cherry’s leg when they talk with Howard. She hands over the wine to Daniel. She learns that the girl is working for a real estate company. Cherry knows Howard is a big dog in the real estate industry. She reveals she plans to run a real estate company for resolving the house crisis. Laura thinks the idea is good. Cherry brings up that Laura is going to organize an art exhibition. Laura complains it to the girl that her employee couldn’t do the job well.
Laura and Howard prepare dinner. She complains it to her husband that her son took the girl to look at the house too long. Howard thinks Daniel wants to give the girl a good impression. But Laura goes upstairs to call the two. She discovers that the two are sleeping together. She reports it to her husband. But she’s told that she did the same thing when she went to see Howard’s parents.
Daniel and Cherry finish their job. They comes downstairs to have dinner with Laura and Howard. Daniel reveals he went to Paris with his mother. Howard asks Cherry about her school. She tells the school to him. Laura guesses Cherry might know the girl Kathy Hughes. Cherry denies it in the beginning. But she admits that she knows the girl after Laura reminded her that the girl was famous.
Cherry reveals she’s the only child in her family. She thinks Daniel is like her. But she’s told that Laura had a daughter Ross. Laura goes to the bathroom to wash her hands. She returns and she’s told that Daniel plans to become a trauma surgeon. She’s shocked. Because it’s not her and Daniel’s plan. Daniel claims that he made the decision on his own. Cherry supports her boyfriend. Laura pours hot coffee onto Cherry’s legs. Cherry is furious to walk away. Laura feels guilty. She goes upstairs to care for Cherry. She offers to take Cherry’s dress to the dry cleaner. But Cherry plans to put her dress into the washing machine.
Laura and Isabella go to the beauty salon. Laura reveals she found the same bracelet from Cherry’s bag. She says that she tried to look for her bracelet. But she didn’t find it. Isabella guesses the girl thought she deserves a present after she helped Daniel get the happiness. Laura suspects that the girl concealed something from her. She mentions Moses is missing.
Isabella’s daughter finds Isabella. She blames her for not coming to the meeting. She complains it to her that she worked hard for contacting Marcus. Isabella claims that they need a new lawyer. Laura reveals Isabella slept with the lawyer.
Laura goes to her exhibition. She sees Daniel and Cherry. She takes Isabella downstairs. Isabella suggests that Laura should go to Spain with Daniel so that the guy will stay away with the girl. It makes Laura laugh. Henry replies to Laura. Laura is told that Cherry didn’t stay in the school. She goes upstairs. She finds out that her husband is close to the lady. She’s told that Daniel and Cherry left.
Laura enters the bedroom in the evening. She sees Howard lying in the bed. She mistakes that he would sleep with the lady. He denies it and he reveals their son didn’t say goodbye to them. He sleeps with her. Howard plans to give up on the lady Marian. But Laura thinks it’s not a good idea.
The next day, Laura goes the the company Cherry works. She wants to know if the girl works for the company. She witnesses Cherry punching the guy who claims that he’s going to get married. Cherry is on the way to her office. She runs into Daniel. But she doesn’t talk with him. Cherry arrives at the company. Her colleague Pandora cannot work because she drank with her classmates last night. Cherry promises to help Pandora take care of the work. But she breaks into the boss’s office. She blames the guy for letting Pandora be the Assistant Manager.
Cherry complains it to the man Eliot that she worked hard for him. He explains it to her that Pandora’s mother gave the company numerous opportunities. He promises to give her a chance one day. Cherry goes to the gym to work out. She runs into her ex-boyfriend Nicholas. She avoids the man. She returns to her office. She checks the guy’s social media. She learns that the guy is going to get married. Pandora leaves the office for hair removal.
Daniel visits the office. He mistakes Cherry for Pandora. She takes him to go to see the apartment. He reveals he plans to entertain her guest in the apartment. He’s told that her name is Cherry. He confesses it to her that he’s a doctor. She realizes that the apartment doesn’t fit him.
Cherry takes Daniel to a new apartment. But she took the wrong key. She climbs over the wall in his help. She opens the glass door. They enter the house. Daniel looks around the house. He thinks it’s his new home. He decides to celebrate it. He sleeps with Cherry.
It’s Cherry and Daniel’s third date. He takes her to his father’s hotel. It promotes her to think that he likes to show off. She asks him about his mother. He reveals his mother is very busy. He admits that he’s the good boy of his mother. She says that her father passed away when she was 14 years old. She knew she needs to work hard. Daniel takes Cherry home. Cherry steals Laura’s bracelet. She hides herself when Laura shows up. Daniel breaks a vase for saving his girlfriend.
Cherry goes to the clothing store to buy a new dress. She leaves the clothing store. She gets in a bus. She looks into Laurel and Howard. She finds out that the two are very rich. She and Daniel visit Laurel when Isabella is badmouthing her. She’s not happy. She hands over the flowers to Laurel. Laurel just puts the flowers on the table.
Daniel takes Cherry to the bedroom. He tries to rip her dress. But she stops him. Because the dress is very expensive. She finds a new way to make her boyfriend happy. But she’s caught by Laurel. Laurel gets Cherry’s dress dirty with the coffee. Cherry goes to the room to clean the dress. But the cat hurts her. She throws the cat out of the window. Cherry returns to the living room with Laurel. She reveals her father was an architect. But he passed away. Laurel looks into Cherry’s father with her cell phone immediately. Daniel stops his mother.
The next day, Cherry’s mother suggests that Cherry shouldn’t date a rich guy. Because Cherry’s father is just a construction worker. Cherry doesn’t want to talk about it with her mother. She thinks she did nothing wrong. She and Daniel go to Laura’s exhibition. Isabella and her daughter scold Daniel for his late. Cherry makes fun of herself that they were late because she needed to perform a striptease.

Daniel kisses Cherry in front of the guests. Laura is unhappy to walk away. Cherry notices it. She figures it out that Laura doesn’t like her. Daniel explains it to his girlfriend that his mother was just nervous. But he goes to greet his mother. Cherry walks to Laura. She tries to talk about the painting with the madam. But she mispronounces the painter’s name. Cherry sees an acquaintance. She offers to leave the place. Daniel takes her away. Daniel takes Cherry home. He confesses his feelings to her when he kisses her.
Nicholas finds Cherry. He blames her for tailing him. She punches him after he provoked her. She runs into Laura. She brings a good news to her that she’s going to go to Spain with them. Cherry kills a pig. She takes out the internal organs of the animal. She pretends to be a staff member of the hotel. She conceals the internal organs into the wedding cake. Nicholas and his bride see the internal organs when they cut the cake. They’re startled. Cherry is happy to leave the wedding.
