Someone is sent to the hospital in The Girlfriend episode 3. He’s in critical condition. The doctor disallows the family to enter the operating room. Daniel takes Laura to his apartment. She sees Cherry in the apartment. She thinks the building is good. But she doubts if it’s a prudent investment. Cherry points out that Laura needs to renovate the house. Laura is shocked after knowing the house’s price is $1.5 million. She knows Daniel is rich because of his father.
Daniel learns that Laura doesn’t like the house. She denies it and she says that she likes the house after she looked around the house. He feels relieved after he got the answer from her. She thinks he did a good job. He leaves. Laura asks Cherry to leave Daniel. But Cherry thinks the madam doesn’t have the right to tell her what to do. She refuses to leave his boyfriend. Laura reminds Cherry that her lies will be known by Daniel. She plans to help Daniel.
Cherry has meeting with the boss in the meeting room. He’s not happy after he knew she didn’t sell the penthouse. She promises to complete the job. Cherry waits for Tracey at the cafe. Tracey shows up. She asks Cherry what happened. Cherry claims that she just wanted to see her mother. Tracey wishes to see Cherry’s colleagues. But Cherry reveals everyone is busy. Tracey brings up her poor friend. But Cherry only cares for if someone asked Tracey about her. It promotes Tracey to think that her daughter did something.
Cherry denies it. She claims that she just had a fight with someone. So she worries that the person will look into her. She thinks her mother won’t leak it. Daniel shows up. He gives his girlfriend a kiss. Tracey realizes that the guy is Daniel. She’s happy to grab his hands. Cherry asks her boyfriend to leave. But he wishes to stay with her and her mother. It’s what Tracey wants. She lets Daniel sit with her. She learns that he’s a doctor. She wants to ask him a question. Cherry rejects it for her boyfriend. But Daniel says that he’s fine with it.
Tracey tells Daniel that she has a severe rash. Cherry is furious to stop her mother. Tracey and Daniel laugh after Cherry was fooled. The three leave the cafe. Tracey gives Daniel a hug. She thinks the talk was good. He invites her to come to his house after his house is ready. She accepts the invitation. She turns around and she gives Cherry a hug. She knows the man loves her daughter. She says goodbye to Daniel and Cherry. She runs away.
Daniel looks at his girlfriend. He thinks Tracey was funny. She tells Cherry that he likes her mother. He notices that she’s nervous when he touches her father. She explains it to him that she worried that he wouldn’t like her mother. He denies it and he kisses her. He wonders if she dislikes him since she witnessed the look of his mother. She denies it.
Cherry wears a good dress to walk into Daniel’s room. She calls his boyfriend with a sweet voice. But she sees Laura. Laura learns that Cherry came to sleep over. She thinks the girl should pay her the rent. She reveals she was talking with her son about the tradition of his birthday. Cherry asks Daniel about the tradition immediately. He says that his mother would take him to go to see a musical every year on his birthday. They would go to Chinatown to eat dumplings.
Cherry doesn’t expect that Daniel is a musical lover. She reveals she booked a surprise trip. It promotes Laura to wonder where is the place. Cherry reveals it’s a climbing. Daniel is happy with the plan. He complains it to Cherry that she didn’t listen to him when he told her that he wants to go climbing. She offers to change the time. She agrees to let him go to see the musical. It promotes Laura to think that Cherry is a good person. But Cherry lets Daniel make the decision because it’s his birthday. Laura agrees to what Cherry said. Daniel decides not to go to see the musical. Laura says that it’s fine. But she leaves his room. It’s obvious that she’s not fine with it.
Cherry checks her bank account. She finds out that she owes the bank 203 pounds. She checks the Wintour’s Leap then. She needs to pay 577 pounds. She pays 577 pounds. The bank sends a message to her that she owes them 780 pounds. She gets a call from Nicholas. She congratulates him on his new marriage. But he scolds her for ruining his wedding. He threatens to call the police. But she threatens him back that she’s going to have a talk with his wife. She thinks his wife will be happy with the story.
Tracey is watching the TV in the living room. So she hears the conversation of her daughter and Nicholas. Nicholas threatens Cherry that he will visit her if she contacts his wife. He hangs up. Cherry asks her mother to tell the police that she stayed with her if she’s asked about what she did on the 26th. It promotes Tracey to wonder what her daughter did. Cherry denies it. She begs her mother. She kisses Tracey after Tracey promised to help her. But Tracey hopes her daughter not to turn into the previous Cherry.
Cherry walks into Daniel’s room. She thinks Daniel if she’s a bad person. He says that she’s very bad. He wants to give her a punishment when he touches her face. He notices that she’s unhappy. So he tells her that she’s not a bad girl for cheering her up. He asks her what happened. She cries to reveal it’s about her ex-boyfriend Nicholas. Daniel is told that Nicholas liked to control Cherry when he stayed with Cherry. Nicholas badmouthed Cherry after he found out that she got a good boyfriend.
Daniel asks Cherry about the rumor. She reveals someone ruined Nicholas’s wedding. But the guy thought she did it. Daniel decides to go to have a talk with the guy. But she stops him because she doesn’t wish the guy to ruin their relationship. She thinks it’s Nicholas’s goal. He promises her that he won’t go to see the guy. He kisses her.
Cherry visits Laura. She has known the lady went to see Nicholas. She reminds her that the guy spread the rumor for hurting her. But Laura knows Cherry is the liar. Cherry is furious to blame Laura for digging into her past. She sees Daniel. She changes her tone. She casts herself as a victim. Laura claims that she won’t trust Cherry. Daniel is furious to scold her mother after he heard her words. He lets Cherry wait for him outside. She leaves the room. Laura persuades her son that the girl isn’t a good person.
Daniel takes Cherry to leave his mother’s office. He’s serious when he drives the car. Cherry teases him. It makes him laugh. They go to a place. She gets changed. He takes a look at her clothes. He thinks she’s very cute. He hugs her from her back. She screams and she claims that she won’t stay with a stranger in the old ruin. But he thinks it’s not a ruin. He tells her that it’s the God’s House. He kneels on one knee to her. She mistakes that he’s going to make a proposal to her. But he just asks her to tie his shoelaces for him. She’s furious to push him over.
Daniel wonders what Cherry thought he would say. She laughs and she says that she thought nothing. He hugs her and he admits that he wants to marry her. She’s very happy. She lets him kiss her. He takes out the keyring. He puts the keyring on her. They leave the ruin and go to the cliff with the ropes. Cherry reveals she’s afraid of heights. Daniel thanks her for taking him to the place.
Daniel and Cherry go to the bottom of the cliff. He helps her wear the gear. He asks her to follow his route. He climbs up the cliff. He guides her when she climbs the cliff. But she trips. The rope saves her. She climbs up the cliff. But they have another cliff. Daniel climbs the cliff. But he’s too careless. He doesn’t use the protection. He falls off the cliff in the end.
Laura returns home. She takes a shower and she sees Howard. They greet each other. He asks her about her Paris trip when she takes a look at Daniel’s room. She reveals she attended many parties. He thinks it’s not fresh. He wonders if she knew any guys. She reveals those guys are just her business partners. She’s told that he’s going to go to see the ballet. She mentions he doesn’t like ballet. But he points out that the one who hates ballet is her. He thinks ballet is romantic.
Howard claims that he can stay home. But Laura rejects it because she knows Marian is waiting for him. He leaves after he gave her a goodbye kiss. She goes to the swimming pool. She sees Daniel and Cherry. She leaves because the two don’t wear clothes. She returns to the living room. She sees Cherry’s bra on the couch. She throws away the bra. She sits on the couch. Daniel comes back with a bathrobe. He explains it to his mother that he thought she wouldn’t come back.
Laura asks Daniel not to sleep with Cherry at the swimming pool. He promises her. He brings a good news to her that he bought the penthouse Cherry recommended. She’s very happy. She agrees to go to see the house with him. She learns that her son is going to leave her house. She thinks he doesn’t need her. But he wishes her to continue to wash clothes for him. He tells her that he cannot live without her. He expresses that he loves her. He gives her a kiss.
Laura thinks Daniel grows up because he’s going to live alone. But he says that he’s going to live with Cherry. She walks to the window. She sees her son and Cherry. Cherry is happy to jump on her boyfriend after knowing he has told his mother that they’re going to live in the house. Laura calls Nicholas. She wishes to talk with the guy about Cherry. But he hangs up because he doesn’t want to talk with her.
Laura remembers Daniel and Cherry laughed at her after Daniel decided not to go to see the musical with her. She meets with Isabella. She complains it to her friend that her son laughed at her. But Isabella thinks it’s not a problem because her daughter laughed at her as well. Laura asks Isabella and Brigitte about their views after the journey to Spain. Brigitte reveals she likes Cherry. She praises the girl for what she did at the wedding. She mentions Cherry and Daniel love each other. She admits that the hugs are too many. But Isabella likes to watch the hug.
Laura points out that Cherry’s possessiveness is the problem. She mentions the girl stared at her after she kissed Daniel. But Isabella thinks it was Laura’s imagination. Laura denies it. She thinks the girl wanted to tell her that she owns Daniel.
Nicholas and his wife Millie visit Laura. Nicholas shakes hands with Laura. He apologizes to her for hanging up on her. She invites the two to have a seat with her. She worried that Cherry would do something to her. Cherry ceased her actions after Millie’s uncle helped Millie. But Millie suspects that Cherry was the one who ruined her and Nicholas’s wedding. She knows Cherry is such a person.
Laura returns home. She tells Daniel that his girlfriend isn’t a good girl. She admits that she met with Nicholas and Millie. She reveals Nicholas was afraid of Cherry after the girl ruined his wedding. But Daniel doesn’t believe his mother’s words. He thinks Nicholas is a liar. He claims that he knows his girlfriend more than Laura. Laura explains to her son that she wants to protect him. But he keeps a distance from her.
Laura walks out of her house. She sees Daniel and Cherry storming off in anger. Howard learns that his wife did something to his son. He asks Laura what happened when she walks downstairs. She tries to explain it. But he thinks Cherry is a good girl. But she stops him. She thinks Cherry is a gold digger. Howard tells Laura that she targets Cherry because she’s obsessed with Daniel. He asks her to stop it.
Laura visits Lilith. Lilith notices that her friend isn’t happy. So she cries her. Laura cries in Lilith’s arms. She apologizes to her. Lilith drinks with Laura. She believes her. She thinks Cherry is a bad girl. She suggests that Laura should sleep over at her house. She plans to cook for her. Laura mentions she had a good sleeping when she was with Lilith. But Lilith reveals Laura snored. She asks Laura to apologize to Cherry. She thinks it’s the only way to defeat the girl.
Lilith tells Laura that she just needs to wait until Cherry is caught. She knows Daniel won’t blame Laura after he knows the true face of his girlfriend. Laura pays attention to Lilith’s paintings. She thinks Lilith should let her show it. But Lilith rejects it. Laura realizes that she was wrong. She confesses her feelings to Lilith. Cherry calls Laura. She cries to tell her that something bad happened to Daniel.
Laura and Howard arrive at the hospital. They see Daniel in the ward. He’s in a coma. Cherry takes care of him. She tells Laura and Howard that it was an accident when the two enter the ward. She reveals Daniel failed to catch the rope when he climbed the cliff. Howard leaves the ward. He goes to see the doctor. Laura kicks Cherry out of the ward. Cherry finds a room. She stays in the room and she tears up.
The doctor comes to Daniel’s ward. He explains it to Laura and Howard that how he will save Daniel. Laura is very sad. Howard kisses his wife. She tells him that they cannot lose Daniel. She expresses that she hates the girl. Howard finds Cherry. He brings a good news to her that Daniel is fine after the surgery. She wants to see her boyfriend. But Howard asks the girl to go home. He reminds her that Daniel should stay with his family.
