Yu-Geon and Ha-Na walk on the street in Dream to You episode 8. He asks her what she thinks of him in the moonlight. She says he doesn’t show the slightest sign of worry. He takes a look at her. He tells her that she’s so beautiful. He strokes her face and he gives her a flower. She asks him why he always likes to tease her. She hits him with the flower.

Su-Bin and Yi-Jae watch the acting through the monitors. Su-Hee arrives on the set. She sees Ha-Na. She’s furious to call her. She orders to stop the filming. Yi-Jae takes off headphones. She asks Su-Bin what happened. Su-Hee tries to drag Ha-Na away. Ha-Na says it hurts. Yu-Geon grabs Su-Hee’s hand. He stops her. She blames him for doing it. She mentions he just signed with her not long. She shakes off his hand. She tries to slap him. Su-Bin grabs her hand.
He tells her that it’s enough. Everyone is watching. If the thing is spread, she won’t get any benefits. The mother who stops the filming, and the CEO who couldn’t renew contract with the actress. She tells the people that it’s a surprise. She asks him what they think of her acting. She doesn’t expect Yu-Geon and Su-Bin played along with her as well. It’s the surprise that she and Ha-Na prepared. “Love Song of the Capital” is Ha-Na’s screen debut so that they did it.
Su-Hee apologizes to the people for scaring them. She’s going to give them down jacket. It’s going to get cold soon. They should wear warm when they film. Director Kang shows up in the truck. He tells the people that down jackets are here. It’s free.
Sang-Mok gets the down jacket. He mistakes that it was a surprise. But the director of photography tells Sang-Mok that they were going to stop filming. Gwang-Il mentions they cast the top actress Ha-Na, but they didn’t post any news. Sang-Mok learns that the surprise was fake. Gwang-Il worries that the mother and daughter’s fight will drag them down. They won’t get payment. The director of photography stops Gwang-Il. He thinks he shouldn’t talk about the thing that doesn’t happen. They just need to do their job well.
Su-Hee thinks Su-Bin and Yi-Jae are good at trying to be clever. They planned to make it a done deal as long as it was filmed. She claims that she’s Ahn Su-Hee. She orders them to stop filming. Su-Bin tells Su-Hee that she doesn’t have right to do that. She admits that she doesn’t have right. But she’s influential. She cannot agree with Ha-Na. She will go against it before Ha-Na is replaced.
She asks Yu-Geon to get in the car. He cannot film it. Ha-Na gets her mother’s point. She tries to give in. But Yu-Geon stops her. He tells Su-Hee that he quits. She reminds him that it means he cannot step into the circle anymore. He says he doesn’t care. After all, the role didn’t belong to him in the beginning. He apologizes to Su-Bin and Yi-Jae.
Su-Hee asks the directors to cast another male lead. But Ha-Na has too many rumors, so it won’t be easy. Director Kang reports it to Su-Hee that he has given all the down jackets. Su-Hee tells Ha-Na that she should catch the chance to remember the lesson. Everything is because of her ridiculous rebellion. Su-Hee leaves with Yu-Geon. Su-Bin stops the filming. Yi-Jae is sad. Ha-Na apologizes to Yi-Jae. Yi-Jae gives Ha-Na a hug. She tells her that it’s not her fault.
The next day, the new PD Ye-Seo and In-Wook visit Su-Bin and Yi-Jae. In-Wook points at the screen. He says they selected three actors. They need to make the decision today. Su-Bin realizes that In-Wook has waited for the chance. He found candidates immediately. In-Wook says he didn’t intend to do that. Those guys were interested in the movie earlier than Yu-Geon. But Yi-Jae asks In-Wook if it’s the best way to change actors. He says it’s the best way, and it’s the better way.
Ye-Seo agrees with what In-Wook said. She reveals Seong-Moo is the hottest actor. Yi-Jae is shocked after she heard the name. She guesses the actor is very busy since he’s the hottest. She feels he has a lot of roles waiting for him to take on. Ye-Seo says as long as the script is good, actors will line up and want to play the role. In-Wook orders the people to make the decision. Because they lack funding. Su-Bin mentions Jenny and Su-Hee came to an agreement to allocate additional funds. He thinks the project means a lot to Su-Hee. She doesn’t want to replace Yu-Geon. She just uses the guy to bluff.
In Su-Hee’s office, Su-Hee gives Ha-Na’s contract to Yu-Geon. He asks her if she called him to end the contract with him. She denies it. She thinks he underestimated her. She reminds him the words that she said when they signed the contract. A contract can tie up his body and heart. Ha-Na shows up. She tells her mother that she will renew her contract. She asks her to forgive Yu-Geon.
Su-Hee agrees. She tells Ha-Na that her contract is in the guy’s hand. She asks her to sign it. Yu-Geon tells Ha-Na that she doesn’t have to do it. He will let everything return to the way it was. She asks him how he will do it. She asks him if he’s too naive or he’s too stupid. The one her mother targeted was her at first. She tells her mother that she wanted to star in the movie not because of Yu-Geon. She found the script and went to audition. She found out that he was there.
Su-Hee says she has great taste. She caught a hostage, and her daughter came back. Ha-Na grabs the contract from Yu-Geon. She signs it. Su-Hee tells the two that she trusts the paper’s power than their hearts. It doesn’t work even if they get together. Anyway, they cannot escape from her grasp.
In the car, Ha-Na wonders why Lan Ying risked her life to save Wu Qian. She fled for her freedom. She thinks she’s a fool. Chae-Yeon says Lan Ying did it to save herself. When falling in love, all five senses are drawn to the other person. It means the time looking at him is longer than looking at her own face. She will find out when he smiles, she will follow to smile. When he cries, she will cry as well.
Ha-Na remembers she cried when Yu-Geon cried. She realizes that this is why she was in such pain. But Chae-Yeon asks Ha-Na not to talk to her. She complains it to her that they visited the road three times. Ha-Na asks Chae-Yeon to find a place to park. Chae-Yeon says she cannot park. There’re too many cars. She says she’s afraid of driving.
In the studio, Su-Bin wants to cast a famous actor for the role Crow. After all, he’s a commander of the Independent Army. He should have a powerful presence. Yi-Jae agrees with what he said. But the role doesn’t have enough screen time, so it will be hard. He offers to invite to make a special appearance. In-Wook tells Su-Bin that they shouldn’t talk about the commander. Nobody is playing the male lead. Su-Bin wants to start with what they can do.
Ye-Seo shows Yi-Jae the news that Ha-Na and Yu-Geon decide to star in the movie. The news was released by Topline Entertainment. In-Wook asks Ye-Seo to prepare official press release. Su-Bin says Ha-Na’s first independence failed. Yi-Jae worries about Ha-Na. Su-Bin thinks Ha-Na will be fine. After all, it’s the choice she made to guard something she cherishes.
In the evening, Yu-Geon sees the news at home. He remembers Ha-Na asked him why he wanted to give up since he signed the ridiculous contract with a sense of urgency. He should stick to her and let her mother see it clearly. Proving they don’t have love.
Cheol-Gyu pries open the door of the studio. He gets in the studio. He opens the doors one by one to look for his wife Hwa-Yeon. Hwa-Yeon isn’t there. She’s living with Jong-Sun. Cheol-Gyu is furious to smash things with a club. Su-Hee shows up behind him with a cell phone. She films him and she gets the evidence. She says she worries that she will be mistaken she did.
He says long time no see. She says it’s been twenty years. She asks him to get out of the studio within twenty seconds before she calls the police. She thinks he wouldn’t break the door if he’s the guest who was invited. He puts down his club. He thinks she’s not a good person as well. She barged into someone’s house when the owner isn’t home. But why she came to the place.
She says she’s investing in Su-Bin’s movie. She has something important to talk to Su-Bin. He laughs. He thinks she’s crazy. She admits that she’s crazy so that she dated a jerk like him. She didn’t know he got married. He asks her if she still feels wronged. He mentions she was pregnant, and she asked him to get a divorce and be with her. She complains it to him that he threw her into a deep mountain hospital, and he didn’t allow her to have an abortion.
He admits that he made a big mistake. He could let her give birth in secret, she would disappear without anyone noticing. He was unnecessarily lenient with her. He hits her toes with his club. He says he loved her very much. She tells him that she comes to repay his kindness. She spits at his face. He says it’s good. It reminds him of the past.
Director Kang watches the two. He notices that Su-Bin and Yi-Jae come back. He runs away. Su-Bin sees the broken door. He asks Yi-Jae to wait for him outside. But she runs into the house with him. They see Su-Hee and Cheol-Gyu. Su-Bin is furious to yell at his parents. He asks them what they’re doing there. He lets Yi-Jae go home. But Cheol-Gyu slaps Su-Bin. He asks him where his mother is. Su-Bin mentions he told Cheol-Gyu not to look for his mother.
Cheol-Gyu tries to grab the club from Su-Hee. She refuses to give the club to him. She reminds him that he will be charged with attempted murder if he uses it to hit Su-Bin. Cheol-Gyu mentions what Su-Bin said that he would be his flaw forever. As it turns out, he works with his mother who abandoned him. Su-Hee claims that she hasn’t been Su-Bin’s mother all her life. She came because she’s Ha-Na’s mother.
Su-Bin asks the two to leave his house. They’re not related to him. Cheol-Gyu asks Su-Bin if he wants the mother he talks about to hide here and there all her life like him. Su-Bin says his mother doesn’t hide. He’s protecting her. Cheol-Gyu threatens Su-Bin that if he doesn’t want to see his mother being hurt, he should bring her over. He regrets for healing Yi-Jae. Something that has broken once, it’s very difficult to return to normal. She admits that he healed one of her legs. Her life hasn’t returned to normal. The person who helped her get her life back on track was Su-Bin.
Su-Hee asks Su-Bin if he still lives that kind of life. She didn’t come to see it. She asks him why he cast Ha-Na. He lets her guess it. She mentions he rejected it no matter how much she recommended Ha-Na before. Why he chose Ha-Na when Ha-Na left her. He laughs. He thinks she’s like his father. Because of it, he’s like Ha-Na. They clearly never lived together.
Su-Hee is furious to tell Su-Bin that he shouldn’t say Ha-Na is his sister even if they’re related by blood. She’s not sure what she will do if he dares to tell it to Ha-Na. He says he and Ha-Na just make a movie together. She really thinks a lot. She says it’s a critical time of Ha-Na. So she asks him not to have unnecessary emotions.
Su-Hee leaves the house. Yi-Jae asks Su-Bin if he’s fine. He tells her that he wants to stay alone. He goes to his room. He closes the door. She cleans the mess on the floor. She looks at his room. She opens the door, and she runs into his arms. She cries. He’s so poor. Su-Bin says happy families are all alike, but unhappy families have their own misfortune.
It flashes back. Hwa-Yeon takes Su-Bin to see his aunt and uncle. Su-Bin says the misfortune of his family is him. His aunt and uncle see Su-Hee on the TV. His uncle thinks he will be like Su-Hee once he grows up. Su-Bin’s aunt learns that Su-Bin is Su-Hee’s soon. She tells her husband that his sister is very generous. She doesn’t expect that she raised her husband’s illegitimate son.
Cheol-Gyu drinks in his study. He knows what happened. He thinks it’s an ignorant family. They dared to say something like that to a kid. Hwa-Yeon cries. She apologizes to her husband. He tells her that Su-Bin is his son. He asks her to go back to her parents’ home on her own since she wants to do it. He disallows her to come back if she does it. She shakes her head. She cries to tell him that she won’t go back anymore.
Su-Bin sees her mother getting on her knees to his father. He knows some smiles are like tears. His mother cries each time she looks at him.
The next day, Su-Bin waits for Su-Hee at her house. She goes out with Ha-Na. Ha-Na sees Su-Bin. She asks her mother who the boy is. Su-Hee asks Ha-Na to get in the car quickly. Su-Bin bows to Su-Hee. He tells her that he’s Woo Su-Bin. She realizes that he’s the son she abandoned. She drags him aside. She asks him why he came to the place. She asks him if Hwa-Yeon refuses to raise him. He says he came here on his own, and his mother cries each day because of him.
As long as he’s not there, his father won’t get angry. His mother won’t cry. He asks Su-Hee to raise him. He can study and he’s very obedient. He will grow up nicely as long as she agrees to raise him. But she asks him where his home is. He cries to hug her. He begs her.
Su-Hee takes Su-Bin home. Cheol-Gyu sees his son. He tries to slap him. Su-Hee stops Cheol-Gyu. She figures out the reason why the kid visited her. She reveals the kid asked her to raise him. She asks Cheol-Gyu if it’s right. He says it’s great. He asks her to take her son home. He doesn’t need the rebellious kid. She persuades him that she has her own family. He shouldn’t leave the kid with her.
Su-Bin sees Hwa-Yeon. She opens her arms. He runs into her arms. She asks him where he went. She says she worried about him. He cries to tell her that he caused her to cry. She says although he would make her cry, he would make her smile as well. Because he’s her son.
Ever since that day, Su-Bin’s world has always been shrouded in darkness. When he accepts darkness, she encounters Yi-Jae. He doesn’t understand why the ending of the story is her. It might be because she’s the first one who lights up his world. She is like little sun appearing in his life.
At present, Yi-Jae tells Su-Bin that thanks to him that she turned the bad memories into the evidence of love. Her scar becomes his proof that she likes him. Her movie isn’t an unfulfilled dream anymore. It becomes the dream that they share. When it rains, what she remembers isn’t the day that they said goodbye. It’s the day that they kissed. She has to fall for him. He tells her that it’s the best comfort that he has heard. He kisses her.
The next day, Yi-Jae and Su-Bin sleep in the bed. She pushes him away. She explains it to him that she hasn’t slept with someone else for a long time. She walks out of the bathroom. He holds a plate of sliced apples. He asks her if it was the guy who she loved. She takes a slice of apple. She says the guy is good at cutting apple as well.
Yi-Jae and Su-Bin are in the car. She checks the script. She says they’re going to film the scene that Wu Qian and Lan Ying love at first sight. He asks her if she loved the guy at first sight. She’s furious to ask him when he will stop sulking. She and the guy just dated for a while. He was a student in the department of drama. He guesses the guy was very handsome. She says she’s all about looks. But the guy isn’t handsome. He figures it out that they’re still contacting each other.
She denies it. She explains it to him that she would hear the guy’s news since they were in the same school. He came to help her when she filmed a movie in the club. They got together. Su-Bin is interested in the process. But Yi-Jae forgets it. She thinks it means nothing. He asks her to explain it clearly. She tells him that she killed the guy. Her methods were brutal. She asks him if he has past relationships. He denies it. He wouldn’t speak it out even if he has. It’s his thoughtfulness toward her.
She complains it to him that it makes her not thoughtfulness. He was the one who pressed her for an answer. He tells her that it’s because she answers obediently each time he asks.
Yi-Jae and Su-Bin arrive on the set. Sang-Mok is posting something on the gate. He tells Yi-Jae that he just discovered three couples. Those guys didn’t work well and they dated. Su-Bin thinks there’re four couples. Yi-Jae stops him. She thinks the atmosphere will be better when there’re many couples on the set. Sang-Mok is angry to disagree. He says the ones who are happy only the couples. He asks the two directors to report if they see any crew members dating. Su-Bin takes off the poster after Sang-Mok left.
Yu-Geon drinks tea in the room. Ha-Na shows up. His eyes are fixed on her. Yi-Jae laughs to tell Yu-Geon that he’s about to drool. He shouldn’t look at Lan Ying with such a gaze. He cannot show affection now. He says he didn’t do it. She asks him to put away his worry and pain under his eyes. He’s the playboy Wu Qian, not independent fighter. Su-Bin shows up. He asks Yu-Geon for a talk.
Yi-Jae joins Ha-Na. She asks her about her condition. Ha-Na says she’s great. She’s not the previous Ha-Na anymore. She’s reborn. It’s her second life. Yi-Jae wishes Ha-Na a happy birthday. Ha-Na says even if Lan Ying escapes from Pavilion Under the Moon, but a world without Wu Qian has no meaning. So she goes to save the guy. Ha-Na signed to guard herself.
Outside, Su-Bin asks Yu-Geon who is Yi-Jae’s ex-boyfriend. But Yu-Geon says Yi-Jae has more than one ex-boyfriend. Su-Bin stops Yu-Geon when Yu-Geon tries to count Yi-Jae’s ex-boyfriends. Yu-Geon says one of the ex-boyfriends is a famous actor. But Su-Bin doesn’t want to know it.
Ha-Na walks into the room. She looks at Yu-Geon. Yi-Jae tells Ha-Na that this is just right as it is. The feeling of love at first sight. The rehearsal begins.
Ha-Na pours Yu-Geon a drink. She asks him to grab her wrist. He grabs her wrist. But she thinks he’s like a scholar, not a playboy.
In the evening, In-Wook goes to Sa-Rang’s room. They sleep together. She tells him that she wouldn’t sleep with the man the second time. But she did it. She asks him what it means. He says it means they will continue to sleep. He decides to quit the show “Love Chain.” But she asks him not to do that. Their third time will happen after the filming ends. So he should continue to be catfish guy. Becoming the man who everyone wants. She wishes he will have a good date.
On the set, Ye-Seo brings a good news to Su-Bin that the actor Seong-Moo decides to star in. He applauds. He thinks it’s great, and he walks away. Yu-Geon says it’s not good. He looks at Yi-Jae. She’s feeling troubled.
Ha-Na eats with Yi-Jae, Su-Bin and Yu-Geon at the restaurant. She reveals she filmed with Seong-Moo. She thinks he’s not suitable for the role Crow. Su-Bin can tell that Ha-Na didn’t get along well with the guy. He hears she has fights with actors often. He tells her that it’s a skill if she can get along well with co-star. She says he’s so scary. He said the same thing to her mother. If they got along well, she would do it. She asks him if he thinks she’s a thug girl who picks fights with everyone.
Yi-Jae agrees with what Ha-Na said. She mentions Ha-Na got along well with Yu-Geon. Yu-Geon tries to grab the chicken leg. Ha-Na stops him. She says he has eaten six chicken legs. He should control what he eats during filming. She asks him if he thinks he’s nature not to gain weight.
She believes that he will be very happy. She mentions he likes Seong-Moo very much. She’s told that Yi-Jae is Seong-Moo’s fan as well. She leaves the restaurant. Su-Bin asks Yi-Jae why Ha-Na came to the gathering. She says Ha-Na came to give Yu-Geon a hard time.
Ha-Na returns to her room. She puts on a face mask. She complains that she maintained a good looking face for Yu-Geon. But he didn’t notice it. She sees him being drunk to come back. She learns that he drank.
In the elevator, Su-Bin tries to hold Yi-Jae’s hand. But she thinks they should take Yu-Geon to his room. Su-Bin tells Yi-Jae that Yu-Geon isn’t a kid. He doesn’t intend to help him. Yu-Geon says he lives on the sixth floor. Su-Bin takes Yi-Jae to run out of the elevator. Yu-Geon laughs. He says Su-Bin will be over once Seong-Moo comes.
Yi-Jae and Su-Bin get in the room. They kiss passionately. Yu-Geon tries to open his room. He sees Ha-Na who puts on a face mask. He’s startled. He mistakes her for a ghost. She helps him open the door when she complains. She’s like his wife. She gets in his room. He hugs her from her back. He apologizes to her. He says he had a lot to tell her, but he couldn’t say a single word.

He tells her that he likes her. He has guts after he drank. He says he’s in pain when he says the words. He’s being punished. She guesses he won’t remember it. He asks her if she wishes he will remember it. He will do as she says. She asks him to continue to like her and accept the punishment. She leaves his room.
The next day on the set, someone protects Yi-Jae before she’s hit by the plaque. He tells her that it was very dangerous. He laughs to call her Director Joo. She recognizes him. He’s Geum Seong-Moo. Su-Bin looks at the man who’s hugging his girlfriend.
