Classroom of The Elite Season 4 Episode 4

Horikita knows some people don’t care for classmates’ predicament in the first-year. But they will need classmates’ help in the future. So she asks Hosen to work together and avoid failing. He treats her as the leader of Class 2-D. He gives her a word of advice that he doesn’t plan to help them. It promotes her to wonder what he expects. She figures it out that he thought she would pay her personal points. He knows she will do that. Because the case cannot be resolved without paying points. She reiterates the positions of both sides are equal. There won’t be any sides needing to pay.

Hosen tries to leave the room. But Nanase stops him. She thinks he should take Horikita’s words to heart. She tells him that their class cannot unite. It promotes him to think she’s a fool. He points out that they won’t gain any benefit even if they accept the condition. She says that she doesn’t think there’s something wrong with his strategy. Intending not to take action and skipping the initial negotiations for letting the psychological warfare more advantageous. She tells him that they will get trust if they work with Horikita. If he offends the second-year, they might not be able to find partners once they take the same exam. But he’s not afraid of the punishment. She reminds him that he will be expelled if his partner intends to fail.

Hosen laughs after knowing someone will die with him. Nanase heard that there’s a system called Protection Points at the school. Horikita admits it. She reveals it’s the special points that can waive withdrawal from school one time. If Hosen’s partner has the protection points, he can force Hosen to leave the school. So Hosen needs to build trust. Hosen learns that the fools are ready to corner him. He doesn’t want to pour cold water on the idea because they pool ideas. He doesn’t plan to join forces with them.

Horikita asks Hosen about his plans. They don’t intend to change the premise of reciprocity. He knows it. But he doesn’t think their relationship is based on equality. She asks him to speak out his wish so that they can refer to it. He tells her that he wants to get personal points one million. He will return it to her if he needs to ask her a favor. He thinks it’s a little thing since trust is very important to her.

Ayanokouji sits in the room to watch the two. He thinks Hosen’s move is clever. He isn’t just good at fighting. He’s the formidable opponent who can play games like Ryuuen. Horikita agrees with what Hosen said. But she cannot accept the condition. He feels regret after he was kind to offer an opportunity to resolve the problem. But the negotiation breaks down. He throws the ice water at her face. Sudou gets angry. He tries to hit Hosen. But Horikita stops Sudou. She thinks Hosen should have acted more sensible if he wasn’t happy with the result. She leaves with her people.

Hosen follows Horikita in the hallway. He tries to stop her. She claims that she won’t change her mind if he continues to make unreasonable demands. He promises her that he will get the people in his class to team up with them. So she needs to give him two million. She thinks he showed his true colors. He reminds her that it’s the only way if they want to avoid being expelled. They won’t gain anything if they don’t pay. He agrees to think about the previous proposal. She wonders if he agrees to the equal relationship. He says yes. He will resolve it through communication. But the place might catch the eye. He wants to change a place. She agrees. But she only gives him ten minutes.

Hosen takes the people to an empty lot. But he asks for three million. Sudou gets angry after he heard Hosen’s proposal. He thinks the guy was kidding. Hosen denies it. He reveals he rearranged the negotiation place because of the reason. Horikita realizes that she misjudged the situation, and she even wanted to listen to his words. She tries to leave. But Hosen attacks her suddenly. Sudou pushes his girl aside for protecting her. He’s punched by Hosen. He’s beaten down. He gets up from the ground. He swears he won’t forgive the guy who touched Horikita. He tries to hit Hosen. But his belly is punched.

Horikita asks Hosen what he wants to do when she yells at him. But Nanase reminds Horikita that the state of the school is different from before. She thinks the first-year students know the state more than the seniors. Some representatives in the first-year have listened to Nagumo’s explanation. He said that the school would lean toward meritocracy. Horikita realizes that fight is allowed.

Hosen grabs Sudou. He reminds him that Horikita is looking at him with a terrifying gaze. Ayanokouji can tell that Hosen owns the practical experience that Sudou doesn’t have. He figures out the reason why Ryuuen didn’t fight Hosen.

Sudou hugs Hosen. Hosen realizes that the guy wants to compete with him in a strength contest. Horikita tells Hosen that it doesn’t benefit anyone. Hosen throws Sudou aside. Ayanokouji wonders if the guy thinks strength can turn the tide. He doesn’t thinks he’s so stupid. He wonders what he wants.

Sudou is defeated. Horikita tells Hosen that they won’t give in under his strength. She gets into position. He tells her that he will defeat them completely. Forcing them to cry while they write down the notes. She claims that she will stop him. She hits him. But he grabs her leg. He throws her to the ground. She rolls on the ground. She passes out. He grabs her bow tie. He asks her to sign a contract with him. Five Million. It will resolve anything. She asks Ayanokouji to go to look for a teacher. Hosen threatens Ayanokouji that Horikita and Sudou will get more injuries. He takes out a knife.

Hosen gives Horikita the last chance. As long as she obeys him and gives him the points, he won’t kill Ayanokouji. He will stab the boy to death with the knife if she doesn’t sign the contract with him. He can do the things for the points. Nanase blocks Hosen’s way. She asks him not to do that. She cannot approve of his approach. He asks her to walk aside. He persuades her not to be the one who takes the lead. She apologizes to Horikita. She thinks they couldn’t work with Hosen. She knows she thought about the mutual support because of Hosen’s words. But everything was a trick for it.

Hosen mentions they will get a substantial sum of money as long as they kill Ayanokouji. He thinks it’s obvious that they will get benefits from it. Nanase agrees with what he said. But she thinks Ayanokouji isn’t the student that needs to be targeted. Hosen says that it’s not his business. He throws Nanase aside. He carries his knife to attack Ayanokouji. But Ayanokouji grabs the knife. He knows the knife was bought by him. He asks Hosen if he planned to get him to use the knife to hurt him. He can tell that the way he holds the knife not for stabbing someone. He turned the knife upward for making that he was stabbed.

Hosen is surprised that Ayanokouji intended to be stabbed even if he knew the truth. He thinks he’s crazy. Ayanokouji tells Hosen that it’s the best way to stop him. He points out that he was ready to be hurt to set him up. He knows very few people in the first-year accepted the special task. The task is having him drop out.

Hosen wonders how Ayanokouji knew the knife belonged to him. Ayanokouji confesses it to Hosen that he looked into it. The one who bought the knife was only him until yesterday. It promotes Hosen to wonder who Ayanokouji is. Ayanokouji asks Hosen what he will do since he was the perpetrator. He will be expelled if he cannot get out of it. Hosen learns that Ayanokouji took the action after he saw through everything. He throws away the knife.

Horikita asks Ayanokouji if he’s fine. He tells her that she doesn’t have to worry about him. Hosen asks the boy how much information he has. Ayanokouji reveals he thought it was weird when he and Ichika went shopping at the mall. Horikita is surprised that the girl was related to the case. The girl stopped Hosen when he tried to buy the knife. What she did was seen by the salesperson. Although Hosen came up with the strategy, the one who made the strategy perfect was Ichika. After all, it was the best result to make Ayanokouji buy the murder knife. She came to his room to look for the hair tie. It was just an excuse to take away the knife. She didn’t leave her fingerprint. She gave the knife to Hosen.

Hosen realizes that it was a major flaw to let a girl of unknown origin help him. But Ayanokouji tells the guy that he should thank the girl. Because the plan would fail if it was only him. He can keep this under wraps. But he needs to sign a mutual aid agreement with Class 2-D. He wants to team up with him. Hosen is the best person to Ayanokouji. He wouldn’t be so high-profile if he was the student of White Room. Hosen applauds. He tells Ayanokouji that he made him so excited. He swears to kill him. He asks him to expect it. He walks away.

The next day, Nanase and Horikita sign the agreement in the library. All partnerships establish. The exam is over successfully. Ayanokouji gets a perfect score. Horikita meets Ayanokouji outside the classroom. She thinks she lost. She brings up Nanase.

It flashes back. Nanase tells Horikita and her people that she was nice to them was an acting. It’s true that she wanted to join forces with Horikita. But dealing with Ayanokouji was the first thing she needed to do. The school will pay the person 20 million if he can have Ayanokouji drop out. They received the special exam. Horikita wonders who decided the unreasonable exam. Nanase doesn’t know it. She thinks Ayanokouji will be careful of the first-year students except them. Horikita cannot accept the answer. She brings up that Ayanokouji was hurt. But Ayanokouji says that he’s fine. He’s very grateful after Nanase told him the truth. But it wasn’t the only reason that she would help Hosen. She thought he didn’t deserve the school.
