What Sudou means is that Ayanokouji might have concealed his ability like Kouenji. Yousuke reminds Sudou that he needs to go to the club. Miyake leaves the classroom as well after Sudou left.

Ichinose and Kanzaki run into Ayanokouji at the mall. Ichinose asks Ayanokouji if he’s waiting for someone. He reveals he’s going to have dinner with his friend. She tells him that she has seen the exam result. She praises him. Kanzaki mentions Ayanokouji didn’t have an ability to get a perfect score, according to the OAA data last year. Ayanokouji reveals he concealed his ability after he had a talk with his classmate. Kanzaki realizes that Ayanokouji is hard to be dealt with. But Ichinose scolds the guy for saying so. She thinks every class should have their strategy. She reminds him that Ayanokouji isn’t their enemy. But he thinks Class 2-D is their enemy because the alliance has been dissolved. He admits that he lacks composure. He walks away.
Ichinose explains it to Ayanokouji that Kanzaki did it because the situation was dire. She mentions they were demoted to Class C. She knows she should let go of her innocence. He brings up that he said to her that she should forge ahead no matter what happens. There will be students who dislike her. The people who betray the class will appear. He wishes she will trust her partners. She will always fight for protecting her partners. She comforts him that she will protect her classmates. If someone has to disappear in the class, she thinks she will be the first one who disappears. He feels relieved after he heard her realization. But he disallows her to drop out of the school. She’s shy to tell him that she will make sure that she will stay in the school.
The next day, Sudou and Ayanokouji go to the school. Ayanokouji heard it from Yousuke that Sudou took his side. Sudou says that he just told those guys the fact. He wonders if it’s a secret that Ayanokouji is good at fighting. Ayanokouji pretends not to understand what Sudou said. Sudou grabs Ayanokouji’s arm. He knows he suppressed Hosen. He wonders how amazing he is. He thinks he should witness it with his eyes. Ayanokouji is surprised that Sudou isn’t angry that he concealed the secret. Sudou admits that he thought Ayanokouji wasn’t very considerate. But he will grow up with his ways. He learns that Ayanokouji isn’t dating Horikita. He feels relieved.
Ayanokouji meets Horikita outside the school building. He thanks her for helping him. She mentions the special exam that the student can get 20 million if he can make Ayanokouji drop out of the school. She wonders if the school approved the exam. He guesses someone put a bounty on him with the prize money. The person incited the first-year students to do so. She realizes that the person was Nagumo. He remembers he and the guy didn’t have any revenge. She points out that Nagumo cared for her brother. Her brother cared for him. She thinks it’s not surprising that the guy had mixed feelings like her. She decides to go to visit Nagumo. She wants to ask him if she can join the Student Council. She mentions Ayanokouji asked her to join the Student Council to watch Nagumo. She knows she shouldn’t just watch the guy. Ayanokouji mentions Horikita’s brother valued tradition. He and Nagumo’s ideas were different. Ayanokouji doesn’t judge who was right. He confesses it to Horikita that he wants to see how the guy will reform. She wonders why he asks her to join the Student Council since he just wants to watch and wait. If Nagumo heads in the wrong direction, someone should stop him. She cannot accept some of his words. But she wants to treat it as a win-win situation. She asks him to accompany her to the Student Council. If Nagumo was related to the bounty, they would see his reaction.
Ayanokouji and Horikita visit Nagumo. Horikita tells the president that she wants to join the Student Council. Nagumo doesn’t know the girl’s intention. So he doesn’t want to agree. She learns that he doesn’t welcome her. He asks her why she wants to join the Student Council at the juncture. She tells him that there was a rift between her and her brother. She enrolled in the school to break down the rift. But their relationship wasn’t changed. They didn’t talk a lot until her brother graduated.
Nagumo wonders if Horikita made up with her brother. She says that she did it. So she’s interested in the Student Council that her brother dedicated himself. Although she took a long detour, she wanted to take the path that her brother did. Nagumo figures it out that the girl wants to be a president. But Ichinose has been working hard for a year as a member. Nagumo reminds Horikita that she’s already a lap behind. But she thinks she can bridge the gap. He welcomes her to join the Student Council. He will be heartless to give tasks to her. She needs to prove her value. Nagumo invites Ayanokouji to join the Student Council as well. Ayanokouji rejects it. He thinks he doesn’t have the talent. Nagumo tells Ayanokouji that he will play with him. He asks him to expect it.
In Ayanokouji’s room, Ayanokouji is surprised that Kei made him a cup of coffee. She explains it to him that she did it because his hand was hurt. She asks him to take the duty. Ayanokouji goes to open the door. Ichika tells the senior that she came after she heard that his hand was hurt. But he doesn’t want to talk to her because it’s already evening. She reminds him the condition that she teams up with Sudou. He claims that he’s out of ingredients. She thinks he’s not alone. Because she kept watching after Kei returned to the dormitory. She thinks he doesn’t have to lie since he’s already blown his cover in front of her. She keeps it a secret out of good intentions. She threatens to expose them.
Ichika sits on the bed. She guesses the two were sleeping together. It promises Kei to get angry. She asks Ichika why she came to her senior’s room. Ichika takes out a present. She tells Ayanokouji that it’s an apology present. But he doesn’t remember she needs to apologize to him. She mentions his injury is related to her. Because she helped Hosen. She thinks he misunderstood her. She’s not his enemy. But he doesn’t believe her words. She figures it out that he doesn’t trust her because she helped Hosen force him to drop out. Kei asks Ichika to explain it to her. Ichika is surprised that Ayanokouji didn’t tell it to his girlfriend. So he didn’t leak the bounty 20 million.
Kei wants to know the bounty. Ichika tells Kei that she can ask her boyfriend about the details later. She thinks Ayanokouji knew the plan when they went shopping together. He did it because she didn’t hesitate when she chose the knife. He learns that she intended to let him discover it. He thinks she’s a good person. She thought he was so pitiful that he was forced to drop out suddenly. He notices that the girl has a thinking speed out of the ordinary. He can accept it if he’s told that she’s a student of White Room. But what benefits she can get after she leaked her true colors.
