Ah-Jin asks Jun-Seo to help her get In-Gang when she’s with him in his house in Dear X episode 6. In-Gang is sleeping in his room. Ji-Hyeok and Le-Na send messages to In-Gang. The next day, Ji-Sun visits Jun-Seo. But she sees Ah-Jin in the house. She’s furious to ask the girl to get out of the house. Ah-Jin claims that she’s not the person who Ji-Sun can bully. Jun-Seo tells Ah-Jin not to struggle because she knows she was the one who killed her father.
Ah-Jin mocks Ji-Sun. She thinks she’s doing better than her. She wonders why she visited her boss. Ji-Sun confesses it to Ah-Jin that she wanted to expose the ugly truth of her. She thinks she shouldn’t show up on TV. She knows her smile and tears are fake. She grabs her hair. She beats her. Jun-Seo shows up. He stops his mother. Ah-Jin thinks she’s still trapped in the hell. He leaves Jun-Seo’s house. Jun-Seo stops Ah-Jin outside the house. He wants to take her home. So she gets in his car.
Ah-Jin and In-Gang are on the set. They play a couple on the beach. They hug each other for expressing their love. Ah-Jin tells In-Gang that she learned a lot from him after the filming. She tries to leave. But he asks for a meeting up.
In-Gang meets Ah-Jin in a room. He reveals he replaced the member of the idol group Ji-Hyeok. Because Ji-Hyeok was sick after he ate the macaron. He knew the macaron contained the nuts. But he chose not to speak it out for his ambition. He was in agony after Ji-Hyeok sent messages to congratulate him. In-Gang brings up the video at the party. He hopes she won’t regret like him. He leaves.
Ah-Jin is at home. She gets a call from the detective Dae-Ho. He asks her to come to the place. He threatens to tell her secret to everyone. In-Gang gathers with the members of the idol group in the room at a nightclub. The members persuade In-Gang to meet Ji-Hyeok. Ah-Jin arrives at the nightclub. In-Gang sees her when he walks out of the room. He tails her. He finds out that she got into the room.
Ah-Jin sees some fallen people enjoying the drugs in the room. Dae-Ho calls Ah-Jin. He tells her that it will be her future. She walks out of the room. She runs into In-Gang. He mistakes that she drugged. The two have a meeting in the car. Ah-Jin explains it to In-Gang that she got into the VIP Room because someone called her. He wonders who asked her to go to the VIP Room. She’s silent. He lets her get off his car.
The next day, Jae-Oh visits Do-Kang. He decides to work with the man because he heard he can get rich. Do-Kang tells the guy that he can look for the long hair girl if he works with him. He brings up that Jae-Oh drew the girl when he was in the prison. But Jae-Oh reveals he has found the girl. Do-Kang thinks it doesn’t work because Jae-Oh cannot meet the girl. Jae-Oh is furious to claim that he works hard for meeting the girl. He’s asked to look into the cop Dae-Ho.
Jae-Oh walks into the restaurant. Dae-Ho is having lunch. Jae-Oh bumps Dae-Ho. He catches the chance to switch their phones. He steals the information from the phone when Dae-Ho comes back to take his phone. He tails the cop to the cafe. He finds out that Dae-Ho met the report Hee-Kook. He hears Ah-Jin’s name.
Jae-Oh returns to Do-Kang’s office. He asks the boss who hired him to look into the cop. Jae-Oh meets the client Jun-Seo at a cafe. He’s furious to ask him why Ah-Jin is related to the murder case. Jae-Oh and Jun-Seo listen to the recording together. Jae-Oh asks Jun-Seo if Ah-Jin killed her father. Jun-Seo denies it. He reveals the murderer is still in the prison. The cop tried to wrong Ah-Jin. But he was punished. So the cop hates Ah-Jin.
Jae-Oh learns that the cop is Dae-Ho. Ah-Jin was almost arrested. He wonders what Jun-Seo did when Ah-Jin was in trouble. Jun-Seo claims that he was powerless. It promotes Jae-Oh to think that Jun-Seo suspected Ah-Jin. Jun-Seo reminds Jae-Oh that Ah-Jin will be in trouble if the media knows the case. He doesn’t know what the cop will do. Jae-Oh decides to help Ah-Jin.
Ah-Jin returns to Jun-Seo’s house. She asks Jun-Seo about the cop. He reveals the cop is under his control. She asks him to take care of it well because she worries that the cop will go mad. He comforts her that they have a helper. Jae-Oh visits Jun-Seo. He sees Ah-Jin. He gives her a hug. The three drink together. Jun-Seo notices that Ah-Jin laughs when she talks with Jae-Oh.
Ah-Jin gets in a taxi outside Jun-Seo’s house. Jae-Oh gives the girl a cell phone. Ah-Jin leaves. Jae-Oh brings up that Jun-Seo disallowed him to talk with Ah-Jin at the school. He thinks the guy disliked him. Jun-Seo claims that he dislikes Jae-Oh as well. Jae-Oh wonders why Jun-Seo let him see the girl. Because he knows Jun-Seo likes Ah-Jin. Jun-Seo explains it to Jae-Oh that he wishes Ah-Jin to live an ordinary life. So he needs him. He mentions Ah-Jin’s smile.
The next day, Jun-Seo and Jae-Oh look into In-Gang. They find out that the guy cared for his grandma Kyung-Suk very much. Ah-Jin goes to the temple to burn incense. Kyung-Suk notices the girl. She’s told that the girl is an actress.
The next day, Ah-Jin visits Kyung-Suk with the rice cake. Kyung-Suk recognizes the girl. She invites her to have meal with her. Kyung-Suk calls In-Gang. She asks her grandson to come home to have dinner. He’s told that Ah-Jin is at her house.
Kyung-Suk has dinner with Ah-Jin. Ah-Jin tears up after Kyung-Suk brought up her deceased daughter. In-Gang breaks into the house. He drags Ah-Jin out of the house. She explains it to him that she just ran into his grandma. But he gets angry. Because he thinks she showed up at his grandma’s house with a goal. She reveals Hyang-I moved into the house. She just helped the girl deliver the rice cakes. She was invited into the house. She didn’t know it was his grandma’s house. She thinks she couldn’t reject it because his grandma cooked many dishes for her deceased daughter. He doesn’t want to listen to it. He asks her to get lost. She confesses her feelings to him. She thinks he’s just a coward.
Ah-Jin returns to Jun-Seo’s house. She takes out a bottle of water from the fridge. Jun-Seo asks her about her goal. She mentions what she told him that she wants to date the guy. She lies in the bed. She thinks In-Gang is the perfect stair that helps her reach the top.
In-Gang eats with his grandma. She asks him to apologize to Ah-Jin. But he rejects it. Because he knows Ah-Jin is a dangerous girl. Ah-Jin brings up that In-Gang threw a fit to her. She wonders if her words touched the guy’s heart. Kyung-Suk reminds In-Gang that she will leave the world one day. She thinks he should have a girl on his side. She persuades him to follow his heart. In-Gang leaves his grandma’s house. He cries in his car. Ah-Jin watches it via her cell phone. She thinks she won. She tells Jun-Seo that she will only date the guy for one year. She leaves his house.
The next day, the manager takes In-Gang to the cafe to see the director. But In-Gang runs into Ji-Hyeok. The manager calls Ah-Jin. He worries about what will happen. Because he was the one who arranged it. Ah-Jin comforts the manager that she will take care of it. She laughs.
In-Gang meets Ji-Hyeok. Ji-Hyeok asks In-Gang to taste the cake. He confesses it to him that he intended to eat the macaron. In-Gang is furious to beat the guy after knowing the truth. The manager stops In-Gang. Ji-Hyeok reveals Ah-Jin visited him. She asked him to help In-Gang. In-Gang returns to the company. He tells Mi-Ri that he doesn’t want to work with Ah-Jin. He complains it to her that the girl always crosses the line. He asks her to release the news that he broke up with Le-Na.
The next day, Ah-Jin watches the news that In-Gang and Le-Na broke up in the van. She’s very happy. Le-Na throws a fit to Hee-Kook over the phone at home. She threatens to fire him if he doesn’t do his job well. Hee-Kook calls Dae-Ho when the cop walks out of the police station with the papers of Ah-Jin. The two plan to have a meeting up. But Jae-Oh kidnaps the cop. He takes the guy to see Jun-Seo. Jun-Seo threatens Dae-Ho that he’s going to expose that his daughter drugged in the United States if he hurts Ah-Jin. Dae-Ho sends a message to Hee-Kook. He tells the reporter that it’s not true that Ah-Jin killed her father.
Hee-Kook returns home with Le-Na. Le-Na asks her cousin to do something because he got the money from her. Jae-Oh returns to Jun-Seo’s house. He reports it to Jun-Seo that Hee-Kook attacked Ah-Jin because the guy is Le-Na’s relative. Jun-Seo decides to have a talk with Le-Na. Jae-Oh learns that Ah-Jin is going to date In-Gang. He thinks Jun-Seo is pitiable.
In-Gang’s grandma meets Ah-Jin at a cafe. The old lady is told that Ah-Jin cried because she missed her deceased mother. Ah-Jin is at home. In-Gang texts her. He invites her to have dinner with him. She accepts his invitation. Jae-Oh visits Ah-Jin with the suit. He reveals his brother refused to let him attend his wedding. She thinks his brother is a fool. She asks him a favor.

In-Gang is on the way to see Ah-Jin in the evening. Jae-Oh makes a car accident. He remembers what Ah-Jin told him to hold In-Gang back so that In-Gang will arrive at the restaurant very late. In-Gang tries to contact Ah-Jin. Jae-Oh grabs the cell phone. The cell phone falls into the sewer. Le-Na meets Jun-Seo at a bar. She learns that he loves his sister Ah-Jin. In-Gang runs to the restaurant when Ah-Jin walks out of the restaurant. She puts her scarf on him because she worries that he will catch a cold. He’s moved to kiss her.

The two thugs desecrate the poster of Ah-Jin outside the bar. Jun-Seo tries to beat the thugs. But he’s beaten down. Fortunately, Le-Na drives away the thugs. Jun-Seo lies on the street. He misses his sister. But his sister is kissing another man. The only one who cares for him is Le-Na.
