Ah-Jin is furious to find Mi-Ri on the roof after the president kicked her out of the company in Dear X episode 9. She tears up the contract in front of her. Mi-Ri notices that Ah-Jin is staring at her. She laughs. She guesses the girl plans to push her off the roof. Ah-Jin realizes that Mi-Ri did it for In-Gang. Mi-Ri thinks In-Gang wouldn’t die if she didn’t hire Ah-Jin.
Ah-Jin points out that Mi-Ri’s ambition killed In-Gang. Mi-Ri claims that she wants to wash away her sins. She targets Ah-Jin. She mentions Ah-Jin is the suspect of her father’s murder case. She wants to send her back to the stinking ditch. Ah-Jin asks Mi-Ri to hit her. She thinks it’s the only way to resolve the problem. But Mi-Ri refuses to do that. She reminds Ah-Jin that In-Gang won’t come back even if she does so. She asks her to jump off the roof. Ah-Jin laughs. She mentions In-Gang was on the verge of collapse. But Mi-Ri chose to ignore it. Ah-Jin leaves the roof. Mi-Ri gets angry after she heard Ah-Jin’s words.
Ah-Jin drives on the street. She remembers Mi-Ri told her that she wants to tear her life to shreds. She’s in anger. Because nobody can block her way. Mi-Ri visits Jun-Seo. He decides not to invest in her movie since she doesn’t plan to protect Ah-Jin. She persuades him not to help Ah-Jin. Because she thinks Ah-Jin will drag him into hell.
Ji-Sun visits her father. But she’s dragged out of the house. She calls Ah-Jin when the girl arrives at the parking lot. She blames her for not letting her son know that she apologized. Ah-Jin asks Ji-Sun to tell it to her son on her own. But Jun-Seo didn’t pick up Ji-Sun’s phone. Ah-Jin persuades Ji-Sun not to be persistent. Ji-Sun reveals she needs one of his son’s kidneys to save herself. Jun-Seo hears his mother’s words when he approaches Ah-Jin. He asks Ah-Jin not to pick up his mother’s phone. But she worries that the crazy madam will do something to her. She reminds him that his mother pressed her head into the water. He reveals he met Mi-Ri. The president wasn’t moved when he threatened to withdraw his investment. He guesses Mi-Ri wants to fight Ah-Jin til the end. Ah-Jin knows Mi-Ri does it for the revenge. But she doesn’t know what her previous boss will do. She leaves the parking lot. Jae-Oh shows up with his motorcycle.
Jun-Seo, Jae-Oh and Ah-Jin are in Ah-Jin’s house. Jun-Seo reveals Mi-Ri visited the people who want to hire Ah-Jin. He thinks it won’t be easy if Ah-Jin wants to join a new company. He worries that she will cross the line when she’s driven into a corner. Jae-Oh points out that they can resolve the problem as long as they get the chain file. But Ah-Jin knows she has to kill Mi-Ri if she wants to survive.
Jun-Seo takes Ji-Sun to the hospital. He promises to give the kidney to her. But he asks her not to show up in front of Ah-Jin. She also cannot visit his grandpa. The cops break into Mi-Ri’s office. They arrest her. We learn that Mi-Ri was arrested because of the chain file. Ah-Jin watches Mi-Ri’s news at home. She’s very happy.
Jun-Seo returns home. He talks with Soo-Hyuk over the phone. He asks the secretary not to let his grandpa know that he’s going to give a kidney to his mother. He hangs up. He sees Le-Na. She blames him for not letting her know about it. She throws a fit to him. She leaves his house.
The next day, Ah-Jin wakes up in the morning. Jun-Seo calls her. He’s in the hospital. The surgery is going to begin. He tells her not to worry about him. He promises to come to see her after the surgery. Ah-Jin gets a call from someone. He asks for a meeting up. Because his company plans to hire her.
Ah-Jin is going to go out. But she finds out that Sung-Hee is eating in her house. Sung-Hee even wears Ah-Jin’s watch. Ah-Jin threatens to call the police. Because she thinks the girl stole her watch. Sung-Hee claims that she won’t leave the house with the watch. So it won’t be a theft. Sung-Hee brings a good news to Ah-Jin that the negative reviews are gone. Ah-Jin is told that Sung-Hee did one of the negative reviews. Sung-Hee thinks Ah-Jin is very luck. Because Ah-Jin is always being saved when she’s in trouble. But Ah-Jin knows she needs to pay the price.
Sung-Hee watches the video that Le-Na is selling a bag. She’s told that the bag is worth ten million won. She finds same bag from Ah-Jin’s house. She’s very happy. She thinks she will be rich if she sells the bag. Jae-Oh walks out of the convenience store. The tattoo man watches Jae-Oh in the car. He leaves after Jae-Oh walked into the alley. Jae-Oh shows up. He sees the tattoo man’s car. Jae-Oh returns to his office. He asks Do-Kang about the black car he asked him to look into. Do-Kang reveals the plate is fake. Jae-Oh realizes that those guys are professional. Do-Kang persuades Jae-Oh to go to remind the girl since he was beaten. Jae-Oh agrees with what Do-Kang said. But he doesn’t know someone is eavesdropping on him.
Ah-Jin and Jae-Oh are on the way to Do Entertainment. Ah-Jin reveals she’s going to sign the contract with the company. Jae-Oh feels happy for the girl. Ah-Jin meets the person of Do Entertainment. She’s told that Do-Hyuk recommended her. The guy was also the one who removed the negative reviews.
Ah-Jin finds Do-Hyuk when the guy is giving a speech in the classroom. She thanks him for trusting her. But she wonders why he wanted to help her. He mentions she’s an unfortunate girl. He wants to be her guardian angel. But she knows he was the one who kicked Mi-Ri out of the game. She knows he wants to get something from her. He refuses to leak his plan. Because he wants to give her a big surprise. He offers to have a meeting next time. She volunteers to contact him. She leaves his place. He laughs.
Jae-Oh calls Jun-Seo when Jun-Seo is in the ward. He learns that the guy is going to be discharged from the hospital. He asks him to come to his office. Jun-Seo passes by his mother’s ward. He takes a look at his mother. He leaves.
Do-Hyuk returns to his company. His follower reports to him that they have gotten Mi-Ri’s chain file. He thinks they can resolve the problem once they delete the part of Ah-Jin. Do-Hyuk minds the two lovers of the girl. He decides not to touch Jun-Seo. Because Jun-Seo just got a surgery. He wants to let Jae-Oh taste the warmth.
Do-Hee meets Mi-Ri in the jail. Mi-Ri is going to be sentenced because the police own the evidence. She guesses the mastermind is Ah-Jin. Do-Hee waits for Ah-Jin in the lobby of Do Entertainment. She begs her to help Mi-Ri. But Ah-Jin refuses to help Mi-Ri. She offers to let Mi-Ri jump off the roof. Because Mi-Ri asked her to do that when she begged her. Ah-Jin signs with Do Entertainment then.

Ah-Jin visits Do-Hyuk when the guy is swimming at the swimming pool. She thanks him for helping her. He wonders if what he does is enough. Jun-Seo visits Jae-Oh in Jae-Oh’s office. Jae-Oh shows Jun-Seo the scars. He reveals he was beaten by the guys who tailed Ah-Jin.

Do-Hyuk tells Ah-Jin that he can get rid of her enemies for her. He laughs when she thinks he has feelings for her. Jun-Seo learns that Ah-Jin doesn’t know Jae-Oh was hurt for her. He and Jae-Oh find out that someone put a gas cylinder outside the office. The gas cylinder explodes when Jae-Oh tries to save Jun-Seo. Do-Hyuk asks Ah-Jin to marry him. He promises her that he will help her climb to the highest point. She laughs.
