Yugure asks Akira to marry her after she killed the enemies for him in Dusk Beyond the End of the World episode 2. She takes out a ring. He recognizes the ring. He realizes that she knows Towasa. But she refuses to leak it because the information is classified. Idhi cries when she walks to Akira. He apologizes to her. Yugure realizes that she should heal the wounded person.
Akira and Yugure return to the village. Vogt apologizes to Akira when he gets on his knees to him. He wants to accept any punishment. But Akira knows the guy did it for protecting everyone. Vogt tears up after Akira forgave him. Taverina wonders what Akira will do. He knows OWEL is hunting him. He thinks he will bring trouble to the villagers if he stays there. He decides to leave the village.
Weir sees Akira off. He wishes the lord to visit them again. Because he wants to hear the story of the old days from him. Akira says goodbye to Weir and his family. He leaves the village.
Akira walks Yugure in the forest. He wonders if she wants to continue to follow him. She points out that she didn’t get the answer from him. He thinks it was just a joke. But she claims that she was serious. He refuses to get married with her. Because he just met her. She offers to let him know her more. She decides to walk him for achieving the goal. He agrees to let her follow him. But he asks her not to do the unnecessary things. She figures it out that he doesn’t wish her to save him when he’s in danger.
Akira believes that there’s a clue at the place where he woke up. Yugure agrees with his reasoning. He knows she’s an android. He asks her to talk to him about the affairs of this era. But she refuses to leak it. So he asks her to tell him about her. He wonders why she wants to marry him. But he needs to marry her if he wants to know the secret.
Akira and Yugure return to the ruins. Akira thinks it’s a bad idea to come back to the ruins in the evening. Because he feels uneasy when he looks for something. She brings up that the power supply is broken because of the earthquake. She takes him to hide after she saw someone. She asks him to be quiet. She uses stealth skill. She tells him that the people she doesn’t want to see are close them.
Yoiyami shows up on the mountain top. She jumps off the cliff. She pulls out her sword. She uses cross slash to attack the ruins. She enters the ruins after she created a gap. Hakubo shows up from the teleportation gate. Yugure recognizes the android. She knows she’s not Hakubo’s rival. Hakubo detects the area. Akira realizes that Yoiyami and Hakubo are android. They have the same face as Yugure.
Yoiyami attacks Idhi. The little girl is scared. Akira wonders why she’s there. Yugure asks the guy not to make a sound. She knows the two androids won’t hurt Idhi. Yoiyami asks Idhi to come to her when she points her sword at her. Hakubo thinks Yoiyami shouldn’t be rude to the little girl. But Yoiyami suspects Idhi because she appeared in the ruins. She asks her if she knows who killed Caniss. Idhi knows who killed Caniss. But she refuses to leak it because the murderer saved her life. Hakubo admires the little girl’s courage. Yoiyami asks Idhi where the guy is. Idhi claims that she doesn’t know it. Yoiyami isn’t happy after she didn’t find the guy. She thinks the guy is like a rat. She and Hakubo leave the ruins.
Akira joins Idhi. He asks her if she’s fine. He wonders why she came to the ruins. She takes out a watch from her bag. She shows it to him. She’s happy to reveal that she found the watch. But she forgot to give it to him. He opens the watch and he receives a recording from Towasa. She confesses it to him that she made many mistakes. She thinks the sins cannot be wiped away. She decides not to live. Because she wants to shoulder the burden. She tells Akira that she loves him and thanks him. She doesn’t wish him to come to look for her. She asks him to cherish his life and time.
Yugure reveals it’s the recording of 200 years ago. Akira guesses Towasa is dead. But he wants to go to look for his lover. Yugure wonders if the guy has any clue. He wants to go to Tokyo. Because Towasa lived there ever. Yugure smiles after Akira decided on his destination. She tells him that he can trust her. She swears. He asks her to join him. She agrees. She claims that she won’t give up him no matter what happened. But he refuses to marry her. She grabs his hand. She thinks Tokyo is a good place.
Yugure and Akira light the bonfire outside the ruins. Idhi falls asleep on the grass. Akira asks Yugure about the two androids. She reveals the two are the captains of special forces of OWEL. He wonders if the two are looking for her. He realizes that she’s the person of OWEL. Because she and the two androids have the same face. She approaches him. She expresses that she wants to marry him. But he claims that he has a fiancee. The fiancee is Towasa. But she points out that he and the girl didn’t get married. He agrees with what she said. It promotes her to think that she has a chance. He yells at her that her chance is zero. She tackles him. She swears that she will make him love her more than Towasa. She reveals she has the function. She asks him to give it a try. He rejects it. He thinks she’s despicable. She tries to kiss him. Fortunately, he stops her in the end.
The next day, Idhi says goodbye to Akira and Yugure. She returns home. Akira decides to go to Honshu. But he’s told that there’s no ship. The next ship will arrive after one week. Yugure thinks they have bad luck. But he and Akira run into a helper.
Akira is on the boat. He thanks the man for helping them. The man thinks Akira doesn’t have to thank him. Because he plans to go to Aomori as well. The man Oboro introduces himself as a wholesaler. He wonders why Akira and Yugure want to go to Honshu. Akira reveals they plan to go to Tokyo. Yugure adds that she and Akira are going on a honeymoon. But Akira denies. Oboro suggests that the two should take the train from Sendai if they want to go to Tokyo. But Akira thinks it’s too far. So Oboro tells the guy to go to Mount Osore. Yugure reveals they planned to go to Aomori first. Akira blames the girl for not telling it to her early.
Akira and Yugure arrive in Oma. Akira thanks Oboro for helping them. The man laughs to leave. Akira walks into the city with Yugure. But he bumps a girl Amoru. He breaks her pen. He feels sorry and he wants to compensate her. Because he stepped on the pen. Yugure discovers Amoru’s picture book. Amoru takes over the picture book from Yugure. She claims that the picture book is very important to her.
Akira and Yugure go to the store to buy Amoru a pen. But the salesgirl gives Akira extra change. The boss pushes the salesgirl to the wall because of it. He complains it to Akira that he hired a useless Retro Gear. Akira wants to help the salesgirl. But Yugure takes him and Amoru to leave the store.
Akira walks Yugure on the street. He asks her about Retro Gear. She reveals Retro Gear are the people who gave up their human rights. They can be absolved of their crimes and debts. But they need to work in various places. Akira thinks those people are slaves. But Yugure points out that the people won’t die because OWEL gives them food. She thinks Akira is a good person. She reminds him that the people of OWEL will come if he brings trouble.
Akira gives the pen to Amoru. She’s happy to thank him. She wonders why he and Yugure came to Oma. She’s told that they want to go to Mount Osore. She reveals the people of OWEL are questioning on the roads. She volunteers to take Akira and Yugure to Mount Osore. She knows the road that Akira and Yugure won’t be questioned.
Amoru, Akira and Yugure walk on the road. Amoru draws Yugure when she walks. Akira calls Yugure Towasa. But she claims that her name is Yugure. Akira asks Amoru if she wants to be a painter. But she says that she wants to be a picture book author. He persuades her to go to chase her dreams. He wants to read her picture book in the future. She’s shy to run away. Yugure notices the mark on Amoru’s back.
Amoru, Akira and Yugure have dinner in the forest. Akira and Amoru think they should thank Yugure. Because Yugure was the one who took down the prey. Akira wonders if Yugure’s source of motivation is food. She reveals her core can generate electricity. Food is just her hobby. Akira tries to touch the core on her chest. But she asks him to take the duty. He’s startled to tell her that she misunderstood him. He claims that he just cares for the structure of her core.
Yugure wants to read Amoru’s picture book. Amoru is nervous to guard the book. Yugure knows the book is a banned book. She comforts Amoru that she won’t rob it. Amoru hands over the book to Yugure. She reveals the book was drawn by her parents. Yugure learns that Amoru’s parents are picture book authors. Akira reads the picture book with Yugure. He thinks the book is beautiful.
Amoru, Akira and Yugure arrive in Mount Osore. Akira sees the guard. He worries that they will be discovered by OWEL. But Yugure thinks it’s not a problem because their faces weren’t seen by OWEL. She enters the city with the two guys. She’s hungry suddenly.
Amoru, Akira and Yugure go to the stall to eat. But they’re arrested by the soldiers. Marlum is happy after he caught Amoru and Yugure. Amoru joins Marlum. Akira realizes that the girl betrayed them. Amoru is a Retro Gear. Marlum promised her that he will return her parents’ picture book to her if she takes Akira and Yugure to see him.
Amoru asks Marlum to return the picture book to her. But she’s told that he burned it. She thinks he’s a liar. She’s furious to grab his collar. But he throws her aside. He asks the soldiers to kill the girl like they killed her parents. Amoru tears up after knowing how her parents died.

Akira asks Yugure to do something. But she claims that she can only save him. Amoru pushes the soldier away. She attacks Marlum. She asks Yugure to flee. Yugure takes Akira to flee. Marlum beats Amoru. He sees the banned book she dropped.
Yugure carries Akira to the mountain top. But he wants to go to save Amoru. She grabs his hand. She reminds him that the girl told a lie to them. But he thinks the girl was just being used. She reminds him that he will be caught if he goes back. He persuades her to go back with him. But she rejects it. He tells her that Amoru is more important than her. He regrets that he cheered for the girl’s dreams. Amoru is arrested. Marlum is happy to burn her book. Yugure promises to help Akira save Amoru. But she asks him to marry him. He realizes that she’s just an android. He shakes off her hand. He runs away. It breaks her heart.
