Fire Force Season 3 Episode 13 Recap: Unaware

Shinra wakes up in a room in Fire Force Season 3 episode 13. He finds out that he’s tied in the bed. He cannot move. The TV plays the news that the fifth pillar appeared. Shinra is surprised. He thought there’s only one pillar. He remembers Andhra Link. He wonders if it’s just a dream. He figures it out that he was caught by White Robe People. He hears someone’s voice. The person finds out that Arthur woke up. Shinra wonders who locked him up at the place.

Fire Force Season 3 Episode 13

Hinawa and Oubi open the door of the room. Hinawa asks Shinra not to movie. Shinra recognizes the Company Commander and the Battalion Commander when they walk into the room. He yells at them. He asks them to release him. But Oubi asks Shinra what happened to him. He reveals Shinra was changed after the first pillar appeared. Shinra is confused. He doesn’t understand what Oubi said. Arthur shows up. He walks to Shinra. He asks him where he went. Shinra is scared.

At the secret base, Shinra’s handcuffs are removed. Arthur watches the guy. He thinks the original Shinra came back. Oubi asks Arthur to explain it. Arthur mentions what he said that Shinra is Shinra. But he’s also not Shinra. Oubi guesses Shinra was possessed again. But Arthur denies it. Shinra runs to the window. He yells after he saw his new hairstyle. He sees his earring on his ear. He complains it to his teammates that the precious hair was left by his mother.

Shinra runs to Oubi. He asks the Battalion Commander who made his hair like an outdated thug. He doesn’t understand why he shows the shame of youthful recklessness. Oubi tells Shinra that he did it on his own. He asks him to calm down. He comforts him that the hairstyle isn’t ugly. But Shinra doesn’t remember that he did such a thing. He hates himself. He believes that he will think he’s stupid when he recalls the past. He doesn’t have his own convictions. He only blindly follows the trends. Oubi doesn’t understand what Shinra said. But he thinks it varies from person to person. Shinra asks Oubi if he dyed his hair. Oubi denies it. He thinks it’s weird if he did such a thing. Hinawa notices that Shinra falls into confusion and he’s like the former him. Shinra is told that he’s in severe rebellious phase. He asks his teammates to give him some time.

Shinra washes his hair outside the house. Vulcan shows up. He blames Shinra for getting the black hair back since he dyed his hair so beautiful. He tells him that the tattoos he did for him cannot be removed. Shinra gets angry when he looks at the tattoos on his feet. He scolds Vulcan. Vulcan feels wronged. He points out that Shinra asked him to do so.

Vulcan reveals Arthur discovered Shinra’s unusual behavior first. Arthur understood it at the same time. Shinra is very happy. He thinks Arthur is his friend. But he denies it soon. Viktor descends from the sky. He believes that Shinra had a valuable experience. He asks him to leak it. Shinra reveals he saw the scenes from the past when he was in a coma. He doesn’t know what he did during the period. Viktor guesses Shinra lost his memory after he stopped pillar. Shinra mentions he dyed hair and got tattoos. He thinks he wouldn’t do that. Arthur agrees with what Shinra said that it wasn’t Shinra. Viktor thinks the earrings and the tattoos are just the differences in dress. But Shinra did the things that he never did before. He hurt Iris.

Arthur takes Shinra to the tree. Arthur reveals he saw a Griffin’s lair in the tree. Shinra thinks Arthur isn’t changed. He’s a fool. It’s the real world that isn’t changed. Shinra wonders if the world of dreams truly exists. The scenes of the past that happened before catastrophe. He mistook that those people are humans like him, living a peaceful life. He doesn’t expect that it’s completely different.

Arthur asks Shinra where he went during the period. Shinra reveals he was in Adolla. Arthur wonders what Shinra saw in Adolla. He wonders why Shinra fell into confusion. Shinra reveals he saw the scenes of the past. Arthur wonders if the scenes were strange. Shinra yells at Arthur. He thinks the word “strangeness” cannot explain it. He borrows a branch from Arthur. He draws a human on the ground. He asks Arthur what he thinks about the human. Arthur thinks it’s a human. Because the person has eyes and he can stand up. But Shinra thinks the humans are different. He reveals the catastrophe isn’t what they think. He wonders who replaced him. He guesses Arthur might know it.

Arthur reminds Shinra the period when Shinra was in the training school. Everyone called Shinra “Parricide Murderer”. Shinra mistakes that Arthur wants to have a fight with him. Arthur reveals he had fought with the jerk in the past three months. He tells Shinra that there was a tale that the demon had tattoos all over his body. He got the tattoos on his feet for commemorating his parricide.

Arthur believes that the one who appeared in the past three months is the Shinra in Adolla. Shinra learns that it was his doppelganger. Iris shows up. She asks Shinra if he’s fine. She takes a look at him. She thinks he came back. She smiles at him. She thinks it’s a good news. He apologizes to her for doing something bad to her. But she understands it. She asks for a talk.

Arthur leaves. Shinra and Iris are alone. Shinra bows to Iris. But she asks him to look up. She mentions he has saved her until now. She won’t blame him no matter he has memory or not. They sit on the bench. Iris mentions the pillars and the catastrophe. Shinra wonders if the world had undergone tremendous changes when he wasn’t there. She admits it. He wonders why he hurt her. She learns that he minds it. Because he’s a gentle person. She mentions the day that they went to the Baptism Church together. They had a deal that she should visit him if she has worries. He wonders if she encountered something.

Iris explains it to Shinra that people began to spontaneously combust after the mysterious pillars appeared. It was a sad thing. The second generation ability users and the third generation ability users got stronger along with the change. The other world Adolla is gradually approaching, according to Viktor’s theory. Her body had a chance yesterday. So she wanted to visit him for talking about it. She didn’t tell it to anyone.

Iris lights the flame with her finger. The flame is weak. But Shinra discovers that the girl is the third generation ability user. She reveals a fire broke out at the church when she was a child. Only she and Hibana survived. Hibana thought it was a miracle that Iris survived. She didn’t notice that Iris is a third generation ability user. Iris felt uneasy so that she visited Shinra. But she met his doppelganger.

Iris tells Shinra that she thinks he’s a mixed foreign matter. He realizes that she has a doppelganger as well. His doppelganger punched her when she visited him. He got angry after he saw her doppelganger.

At the secret base, Viktor and Hibana talk about what happened to Shinra in the room in the evening. Hibana learns that Shinra was controlled by his doppelganger. She wonders what kind of world Adolla is. She asks Viktor to give her an answer. He mentions Shinra was affected by Adolla. She wonders what will happen after the eighth pillar appears.

Oubi gets Shinra to sit with him. He asks him if the secret base is thrilling. He reveals the base was reformed by a small house. He wonders if he’s calm. Shinra understands what happened to him. But he thinks it’s not like reality. Oubi feels regret that Shinra doesn’t remember that he turned bad. He sees Shinra’s stiff expression. He laughs after he confirmed that he’s Shinra. Shinra complains it to Oubi that he laughs exaggeratedly. Oubi apologizes to Shinra. He tells him that he doesn’t hate him even if what he did is so bad. It promotes Shinra to think that Oubi is a good person. Oubi feels relieved after he saw Shinra’s smile. He reaches out his hand to him. He invites him to fight with him. Shinra shakes hands with Oubi. Oubi didn’t push Shinra away. He accepted his everything.

Shinra tells Oubi that the ability users will get stronger as the pillars appear. Oubi doesn’t know if the incapable users like him and Iris will get stronger. Shinra realizes that Iris didn’t tell the secret to Oubi. Oubi mentions what Shinra said that he saw the world of the past from his dreams. Shinra wonders if the two cases are related. Oubi reveals Shinmon had a real dream.
