One month ago, Cipher takes cares of his father in the morning in Gen V Season 2 episode 5. A girl visits him. She gives him a present. She beats him. She sleeps with him in front of his father. Marie becomes new number one of God U after she defeated Jordan. She follows Jordan into the room. Jordan is furious to throw away the chair. She complains it to Marie that Cipher had her. Marie comforts Jordan that she knows it wasn’t her. But Jordan thinks it was her. She reveals she could feel it when Cipher controlled her.

Jordan tells Marie that she worried that she would kill her. Marie persuades Jordan that it’s over. But Jordan mentions Marie almost ripped her apart. She thinks Cipher was right about Marie’s powers. Cipher shows up. He thinks Marie’s powers are stronger than they’ve ever been. She yells at him. She asks him why he did it to her. He reveals he did it for helping her show her real strength. He thinks it’s just the tip of the iceberg. He plans to continue to train her.
But Marie claims that she won’t do anything. Cipher tries to persuade the girl. Jordan stops the guy because Marie doesn’t want to do that. Cipher threatens Jordan that he’s going to control him again. He mentions Jordan showed his weakness to the world. He asks Marie to reconsider the conversation because he’s going to let her go to see Cate if she refuses to train with him. Marie is told that Cate is at Elmira. Cipher mentions Cate and Marie tried to record him. He thinks someone should be punished, otherwise he will look weak.
Cate is sent to Elmira. She uses her powers to kill two guards. But she’s fitted with a collar. She’s taken to her cell. Sam returns home. He tries to grab some food from the fridge. But his father wants to call the police when he shows up with his wife. He greets his parents. He feels sorry about the door. Sam broke the door when he got into the house. His father gives him a hug.
Marie and Jordan return to the dormitory. Emma tries to hand over the wine to Marie. She offers to drink for Cate. But Marie rejects it. Emma thinks Cate deserves the punishment because the girl did many bad things. But Marie says that they should save Cate. Emma doesn’t believe that the girl is at Elmira. She guesses Cipher told Marie a lie. But Jordan saw the Elmira van. Emma makes another excuse that it’s a trap. She thinks Cipher wants to hurt them again.
Marie reminds Emma that Cate risked herself to help them. But the girl is paying the price. Emma points out that they were locked up because of Cate. Marie persuades Emma that they know Elmira is a nightmare. She brings up that Emma and Jordan were scared when they were at Elmira. But Jordan thinks it’s a suicide mission. Marie reveals she regretted that she left Emma and Jordan behind. She mentions Cipher thinks she’s a powerful weapon. She wants to use it to do something good.
Marie tells Jordan that she understands her if she doesn’t want to go to save Cate. Jordan mistakes that Marie thinks she’s weak. Marie denies it. Jordan brings up that Cipher said that. She’s convinced and she decides to go to save Cate. Emma gets angry after knowing her two friends want to return to the hell. Marie yells at Emma. She asks her if she can live with that if Cate dies in Elmira. Emma agrees to join Marie and Jordan. But she doesn’t know what they will do.
Marie knows the prison very well. She’s confident that they can sneak into the prison. But Jordan worries that they cannot get out the same way. She believes that the guards will be all over them. Emma agrees with what Jordan said. She reveals those guys added more guards after Marie left. She thinks they need a crazy person to help them.
Sam is watching the TV at home with his father. He gets a call from Emma. She invites him to go to save Cate with them. But he rejects it. He thinks Cate deserves the punishment. He persuades her not to go to save the bad girl. But she thinks they will be bad people if they don’t go to save the girl.
The next day, Marie and Jordan are going to depart. Emma brings a bad news to the two that Sam isn’t coming. But Marie thinks they can do it together. Jordan tells Marie that the plan is insane. She brings up what Cipher said that she’s stronger than I’ve ever been. She reveals she thought she could have destroyed the whole arena when Cipher attacked her.
Greg shows up. Emma tells her two friends that Greg is fine. Greg is told that Emma is going to go to save Cate. He wants to help her. But she doesn’t wish him to do that. She asks him to go to visit Polarity if she doesn’t contact him after two days. She tells him that Polarity is her friend. He learns that it’s a goodbye.
Polarity meets with Cipher. He mentions the fight. He knows Cipher has been working with Marie. He wonders how he helped the girl. But Cipher reveals he knows Polarity went to the archives. He wonders what Polarity have found out. He tells Polarity that Marie can change the world. Polarity asks Cipher about Marie’s friends. He mentions Cipher watched them for months at Elmira. He wants to know what happened to his son.
Cipher claims that the death of Polarity’s son was the result of an experiment. He tried to push the boy to his full potential. But his body wouldn’t allow it. Polarity controls the knife. He tries to kill Cipher. Cipher asks Polarity to do it because he knows Polarity has nothing left to lose. But he grabs the knife. He stabs his hand. The hand is bleeding.
Sam walks into his room. His father shows up with the toy he played with when he was a kid. He thinks his parents forget him. But he’s told that they went to the school to look for him. He asks his father to measure him. But he sees his mother talking with someone over the phone outside. He mistakes that she’s talking with Vought. He crushes the phone and he hurts his father.
Marie, Jordan and Emma sneak into Elmira. They try to enter the prison from the chimney. But it’s a trap. They’re caught and they’re put on a collar. They’re locked up in different cells. Emma runs into Cate. She finds out that Cate is like a Weird Barbie. Cate wonders if those guys grabbed Emma as well. She’s told that Marie, Jordan and Emma came to save her. But they were arrested. Cate is surprised that those girls did it for her. Emma thinks it’s not important. Because she knows they will die there. But Cate still thanks Emma.
Cipher watches Cate the the girls from the monitors. Ashley Barrett shows up. She brought a present to Cipher. She thinks they’re going to get what they want. Polarity is at home. He tries to contact Emma and Marie. But the girls don’t pick up his phone. He doesn’t know they’re at Elmira. He holds the tablet. He takes a look at his son’s photos. He tears up. His powers are out of control. He passes out on the floor.
Sam’s mother finds Sam at the playground in the evening. Sam’s father is fine. He’s working at home. He’s fixed the door and the bird clock. Sam’s mother tells Sam that she loves him. He wonders why she gave him Compound V. She thinks V isn’t the problem. But he doesn’t believe it. Because V broke him. She reveals she wished V to protect him. She brings up Uncle Rick. He remembers the guy moved to Vermont. Sam’s mother tells Sam that Uncle Rick walked into a grocery store and pulled out a pistol. He wonders why his uncle did that. He’s told that the guy had delusions and hallucinations. Fortunately, Uncle Rick was taken down before he did something. Sam realizes that his uncle isn’t in Vermont. His mother tells him that he was born with the problem. She asks him to blame her. Because she was the one who gave the life to him. But he thinks it wasn’t her mistake.
Marie tries to use her powers in the cell. But she finds out that she cannot do it. She reveals the guards gave her some kind of shot. Jordan wonders what it was. Cipher shows up outside the cells. He reveals it was Heparin. He tells Marie that it’s an anticoagulant. He suggests that she shouldn’t make the cut worse. He understands self-mutilation can give her comfort. She notices that his hand was hurt. He asks her not to aim at his wound. Because he’s going to kill Jordan if she does that.
Marie asks Cipher to speak out his goal. He reveals he wishes her to work with him. He mentions they could do it on the campus. But she chose the hard way. He asks her to do what he says if she wants to leave the place. She claims that she doesn’t want to be his weapon. He denies it and he thinks she’s salvation. He tells Jordan that he felt so great when he used her body. But she knows he told her a lie. Because she could feel it that he was in pain.
Marie is taken to a cell. She sees her sister Annabeth. Annabeth cries when she asks Marie why she is there. Cipher tells Annabeth that she can leave the place as long as her sister makes a good choice. Marie is furious to attack Cipher. But she’s taken down by the guards. Annabeth also begs Marie to stop. Marie is taken back to her cell. Jordan worries about her girlfriend. She asks her what happened. Marie reveals Cipher has her sister in a cell. She decides to kill the guy.

The guard notices that Cate is bleeding in the cell. He asks Emma about it. But she doesn’t know. He enters the cell. He wonders what Cate did to her collar. She catches the chance to touch his face. She asks him to give her the keys. But he uses the keys to stab his eye. Cate gets the keys. But it’s with the guard’s eyeball. She shakes off the eyeball. She opens the cell and she saves Emma. Emma saves Marie and Jordan then. But Jordan thinks it doesn’t make sense. Because there was no guards when the girls got out.

Cate realizes that those people want them to try to flee like Andre. But Marie thinks they don’t have any choice. She tries to go to save her sister. But Jordan stops her. He asks her not to give up them. She takes him and the teammates to Annabeth’s cell. But Annabeth is dying. Marie uses her powers to save Annabeth. Annabeth wakes up. But the guards are going to come to them.
