Gen V Season 2 Episode 6 Recap: Cooking Lessons

Marie resurrects her sister Annabeth in Gen V Season 2 episode 6. She takes her to leave the cell with her teammates. But they encounter some guards. One of the guards uses a sonic gun to attack the prisoners. Marie and her friends don’t feel well. Jordan uses her powers to repel the enemies. But another group of enemies shows up behind them. Jordan repels the enemies as well. She tries to lead her teammates to run to the way. But Annabeth stops. Because she finds the right way. Jordan wonders how the girl knew it when Annabeth opens the door.

Gen V Season 2 Episode 6

The team passes the door. They enter a hallway. Annabeth continues to lead the team. But it’s a dead end. Jordan regains the leadership. She asks the people to leave with her. Marie urges her sister. The guards pass the door. They’re going to arrest the people. Annabeth senses that someone is going to come. Marie wonders who is the guy. Annabeth leads the people to step back. Sam breaks the wall. He shows up in front of his friends. He’s excited after he found those guys. He reveals he found a van, but he cannot drive.

Jordan switches. He’s a man now. He volunteers to drive the van. He drives the van to break through the gate. The van is driving on the road. Jordan believes that the guards don’t follow them. But Cate believes that they should ditch the van. He agrees to her plan. But he thinks they should get some distance between them and the guards. He asks Sam if he has a phone. Sam admits it. He throws his phone out of the van after knowing those guys can track it.

Emma mentions Sam broke through the wall. She’s happy to thank the guy. He tries to talk to her. But he notices that Annabeth is crying behind them. Marie cares for her sister when she sits with her. She feels sorry that she got her involved. But Emma brings up that Marie resurrected her sister. She thinks it’s a miracle. But Marie doesn’t think so. Cate wonders how Marie did it. Marie reveals she just listened to what Cipher said. Connect with every cell like it was a part of her own body, and she just fixed it. She realizes that the guy was right.

Sam is told that they’re going to go to Canada. He worries that those guys will stop them. Annabeth claims that she won’t go to Canada with the people. She tries to get off the van. But Marie stops her sister. Annabeth complains it to Marie that she’s going to go to a foreign country with them. Emma talks back that Canada isn’t a foreign country. Annabeth is emotional to ask to stop the car. Marie agrees. Because they need to find a new car. She offers to get word to Polarity. Marie promises her sister that she’s safe when she grabs her hand. But Annabeth shakes off Marie’s hand. Marie tears up.

Cipher takes cares of his father at home. He gets a call from Elmira. He’s told that Marie and the metahumans fled. He orders to find Marie. He’s furious to throw away his phone. He beats his father. But he continues to take care of him.

Marie and the people arrive at the library. Emma goes to the bathroom. Jordan walks into the library. She sees the burned books. She wonders what happened there. Marie expresses that they need a car, food and money. She wonders if there’s a phone. Cate doesn’t find any phone. But she gets some clothes. She offers to get changed. Marie thinks it’s a good idea. She asks Annabeth to change her blood clothes. Sam leaves for looking for some food.

Marie walks to Jordan. But Jordan looks at Marie. She brings up what Marie did. Marie explains it to her girlfriend that she did it because Cipher set her up. She thinks the guy killed her sister to see if she could bring her back. Jordan points out that Marie did it. She thinks everything is different now. Marie denies it. Jordan reminds Marie that she’s the most powerful Supes in the world. She thinks she has to face the reality. She tells her that nothing is ever gonna be the same. But Marie thinks she and Jordan are the same. She believes that nothing will change as long as she doesn’t change it. She tells Jordan that she loves her. She gives her a hug.

Sam walks in the hallway. He runs into Emma who just came out of the bathroom. Both are startled. Emma reminds Jordan that there’s no toilet paper. She reveals she used the seat liners to resolve the problem. She gets the snacks from him. She walks him. She expresses that she likes the creepy abandoned library. She wonders if they will live there forever. He sees a phone in the room. He breaks the lock. They enter the room. Sam mentions Marie thought Polarity could help them. Emma puts the snacks on the desk. She tries to call Polarity. But she doesn’t remember his number.

Emma notices the computer. She logins in her Instagram. Sam discovers that the girl has a new friend Greg. Emma sends a message to Harper and Ally. She asks them to contact Polarity. Sam persuades Emma to send a message to Greg as well. But she rejects it.

Annabeth is with Cate in a room. Annabeth looks at Cate when Cate takes care of her woolen hat. She tries to leave. But Marie blocks her way. Marie wants to have a talk with Annabeth. Annabeth rejects it because she doesn’t have anything to say. She mentions Marie is a Supe. But Marie thinks they should start with the topic. He can sense that the V is in her sister’s blood. She wonders if Pam knows it. Annabeth denies it. Marie asks her sister when she got V. Annabeth doesn’t have any clue. She didn’t have a chance to ask her parents about it because the two were dead.

Marie tries to leave. Annabeth stops her sister. She confesses it to her that she can feel something. But it doesn’t always happen. Marie figures it out that Annabeth knew Sam would come because her powers. Cate thinks Annabeth is a precog. Marie learns that her sister can predict the future. Annabeth denies it. She reveals she can just get visions and she cannot control when. She thanks Marie for the resurrection. But she thinks she doesn’t owe her anything. She claims that she wants to get back to her life. She tries to leave. Marie stops her sister. She thinks it’s not safe outside.

Annabeth yells at Marie that she needs to go to see Pam. Marie reminds her sister that those guys will know it if she visits Pam. She guesses Pam will be in danger. Annabeth blames Marie for ruining her life again. Marie feels sorry about that. She tells her sister that she has been looking for her in the past ten years. What she wants to say is that she’s her only family. She wants to protect her. But Annabeth points out that all her misfortune is because of Marie. She thinks Marie is the only one who hurt her. It breaks Marie’s heart.

Polarity wakes up from the bed. He’s startled when Cipher talks to him. Cipher thinks Polarity made better choices. He wonders how he made downstairs be a battlefield. Polarity doesn’t understand why Cipher shows up in his house. Cipher explains it to the man that he wishes him to convey a message to Marie that he will release her sister and her friends if she goes back to the campus. Polarity refuses to work with Cipher. Because he knows the girl won’t believe the guy.

Cipher brings up that Polarity’s son had small seizures several times a week. He reveals he tried to reverse the damage. But he failed. He knows Polarity will die like his son. But Marie can heal Polarity. He persuades the man to accept his offer. But Polarity is too stubborn. Harper calls Polarity. She tells the guy that she’s Emma’s friend. Cipher controls Polarity. He asks the girl where Marie is.

Marie is in the bathroom. She looks at herself in the mirror. Cate calls Marie outside. Marie runs out of the bathroom. She’s told that Annabeth cannot breathe. Marie guides her sister to breathe. Annabeth recovers. She reveals that her therapist gave her some techniques. It promotes Marie to realize that Pam gave her sister a good life. Annabeth admits it. But she thinks it’s not important anymore. Because she cannot get back to that life. Marie promises Annabeth that she’s going to resolve the problem. But Annabeth knows Marie cannot do that. She complains it to her that she hates being a Supe. She didn’t wish anyone to know it. But they know it now. She thinks Marie cannot change it.

Vikor breaks into the room when he throws his hammer into the room. Jordan blocks the hammer so that nobody is hurt. Marie asks her friends to get her sister somewhere safe. Annabeth hides with Marie’s friends. Marie is thrown out of the building by Vikor. Sam and Jordan fight Vikor. Jordan leaves to look for Marie after knowing Sam can fight Vikor alone.

Annabeth is nervous to ask Cate and Emma to do something. Because she heard they’re Supes. Cate claims that she cannot do it. She asks Emma to get gigantic and squash the enemy. But Emma cannot use her powers as well. Vikor throws Sam into the room where the three girls stay. Cate finds out that Vikor is missing.

Jordan joins Marie outside. Marie scolds her girlfriend. Because she thinks Jordan should protect her sister. Jordan reminds Marie that she came to help her. She’s knocked away by Vikor. Vikor tries to kill Marie. But the girl stops him. He laughs and he asks her to leave. Because he worries that she will be hurt. But she cuts off his head. The girl Zoe is happy to tell the man Stan that she found Marie. Stan shakes hands with Marie. He brings up his daughter Neuman.

Jordan doesn’t know who Stan is. She asks him to introduce himself to them. He claims that he’s out of his business cards. Cate knows the man. She reveals he used to run Vought. He admits it. He reveals he left the place for other opportunities. Marie asks the guy to speak out his goal. Stan tells the girl that he wants to get her. He thinks they can help each other. Zoe mentions what her mother told her that Marie was great. Marie agrees to leave with Stan. But she asks him to take her friends.

Stan takes the people to a house. They take the elevator. They’re going to the secret base. Zoe brings up that Marie and her were in Red River. Marie wonders how Zoe got out. Zoe reveals her grandpa saved her. Marie tells the girl that her mother shared her secret with her. Neuman thought Marie and her had the same kind of powers. She made Marie feel super special. Marie feels sorry for what happened to Zoe’s mother. Zoe is sad. Stan comforts his granddaughter.

The people get off the elevator. They enter the apocalyptic bunker. Stan reveals he built the place for dealing with Homelander. Jordan wonders why Stan left the apocalyptic bunker since he hid there well. Stan reveals he was interested in Marie after he heard her story. But Marie points out that it cannot explain how he found her. Stan continues to explain that Vikor had a tracking chip. He says that the guy is easy to follow. He lets Zoe take everyone to their rooms.

Marie claims that she needs answers. Stan wonders if they’re hungry. He begins to cook. Jordan complains it to Marie that they can only get the answers after they watch the cooking show. Cate sees that Stan cooks for them for gaining trust. She thinks it’s the Vought playbook. Stan needs someone to dice a tomato. He gives the job to Jordan. He claims that he’s only interested in Marie. Marie wonders why the guy wants to do that. He reminds her that she’s different. He thinks she can feel it.

Marie asks Stan why she’s different than anyone else. He speaks out Odessa project. Cate shares what she knows that the project was created by Cipher. Stan denies it. He knows some secrets those guys don’t know. He reveals Thomas Godolkin came up with the idea in 1960s. Godolkin’s goal was to create god-tier superheroes. It didn’t work at first. Jordan figures it out that Cipher made it after he diced the tomato. Stan takes over the tomato from Jordan. He says that Odessa subjects were injected with Compound V at the blastocyst stage. Marie knows it because she saw the files. She mentions dozens of children were dead. Stan tells the girl that only two subjects have survived over the years. They’re Marie and Homelander. Cate is surprised that Marie and Homelader are the same. Marie comforts her friend that she’s not like Homelander. She thinks she’s not a monster.

Sam is watching the TV. Emma shows up after she took a shower. He wonders how the tree in the garden stays alive since there’s only one window. She doesn’t know it. She mentions Stan is very rich so that he would come up with a way. He wonders if she could stay down there. She can handle the place since she was at Elmira. But he hates being underground. He thinks it’s like a fancy trap. Sam tells Emma that he wishes to get back together with her. He tries to kiss her. But she doesn’t want him to do that. So he hands over the remote to her. He leaves.

Jordan has dinner with Marie, Cate and Stan. Jordan mentions Marie is the same as Homelander. But Marie doesn’t wish her girlfriend to compare her to Homelander. Stan comforts Marie that she’s different from Homelander. He mentions the guy is sociopathy. He claims that he wouldn’t take Marie home if she was like Homelander. But Jordan points out that Cipher believes Marie is like Homelander. She wonders what’s the guy’s endgame.

Stan reveals Cipher dedicated his career to building on the work of Godolkin. Godolkin believes that he could control Supes. But Cipher doesn’t think so. Marie wonders what’s the guy’s goal. Stan says that Cipher’s goal is Supe Supremacy. Cate has a question. She mentions Stan shut down Odessa twenty years ago. She wonders why he did that. He reveals he shut down the program after Marie was born. Marie was considered a failure. Because she showed no signs of having powers. Only a handful of people knew of her unique origins. Neuman was one of them. Cipher knows it now. He meticulously recreated all of Godolkin’s work. The work was destroyed in the same fire that supposedly killed Godolkin.

Marie wonders what it means. Stan explains it to the girl that the guy’s body was never recovered. There was a rumor that Godolkin survived when he joined Vought. Stan thinks Godolkin is dead even if the rumor was true. Jordan is thinking about something after she heard Stan’s words. Marie pays attention it. She asks Jordan about it. Jordan realizes that the old man isn’t Cipher’s father. She leaks that she saw an old man in the giant hyperbaric chamber in Cipher’s house. Cate adds that the man was with burn scars all over his body.

Marie learns that Jordan thinks it was Godolkin. She wonders why Cipher keeps Godolkin in his house like a prisoner. Stan figures it out that Cipher didn’t recreate Godolkin’s work at all. Cipher forced Godolkin to speak out everything. Stan thinks it will change things. Marie doesn’t understand it. Because she thinks Godolkin is just a 100-year-old dude. He reveals he planned to make her an offer. He wanted to provide safety and comfort in exchange for her loyal service once he regains control of Vought. But the plan of controlling all Supes could be in Godolkin’s brain if he’s alive.

Annabeth takes a look at the group photo of Zoe and her mother. Zoe hands over the clean towel to Annabeth. Annabeth feels sorry about Zoe’s mother. But Zoe knows her father is dead as well. Because her grandpa didn’t find her father. She reveals she wished to protect her parents. Annabeth has same feelings because she lost her parents as well. Zoe wants to protect her grandpa. She tells Annabeth that she needs Marie. She wonders if Annabeth hands out with Marie all the time. Annabeth denies it. She cries. She reveals Marie shared half of her candy with her. Zoe thinks Marie was so sweet.

Marie asks Stan why he thinks Godolkin will help them. He’s not sure about it. He says that he doesn’t know if what Jordan and Cate saw was Godolkin. He takes out Godolkin’s original research. The research is about controlling Supes. Stan gives the research to Marie. Marie reads the papers. She learns that Stan thinks Godolkin can stop Cipher. He tells her that Godolkin can stop Homelander. Marie decides to go to see Godolkin. But Stan asks her not to do anything. Because she’s more powerful than all her friends put together.

Marie and Jordan lie in the bed. Marie worries about their future after she heard Stan’s words. Jordan comforts his girlfriend that they will figure out a way. Cipher is told that Marie is with Stan. He’s furious to blame Polarity. He thinks it would be easy if Polarity cooperated with him. He controls Polarity to slap himself. He reveals he plans to reduce the student population by 75 percent. Polarity thinks Cipher is crazy. But he’s told that the weak will suffer the same fate as his son. Cipher tries to control Polarity again. But he’s thrown out of the window. Polarity walks to the window. He glances downstairs. He finds out that Cipher fled.

Marie goes to Annabeth’s room. Annabeth is sleeping in the bed. Marie tears up. She leaves the bunker. Cate stops Marie from leaving. She asks Marie to fix her powers. She promises her that she will keep Cipher out of her head. But Marie isn’t interested in the offer. She walks away. Cate doesn’t give up. She follows Marie.
