Jikka meets some people in the room in the evening in Hell’s Paradise Season 2 episode 1. He’s asked to explain the details of the island since he survived from the immortal hometown. Jikka mentions the general asked him to go to take the immortal medicine. His prisoner was killed by Choubei on the ship before they landed. Jikka planned to make his way back. But he trembled because he thought he didn’t fulfill his duties. He had to set off on his journey home. But the ocean currents washed them ashore.
The guy learns that Jikka landed on the island. He mentions there were sixty people going missing on the island. Jikka thought he has the duty to report the death of the prisoner. So he came back after something happened. The guy stops Jikka. He asks him to explain it to him what happened. But Jikka thinks it’s not a good idea. He mentions it will waste a lot of time. He persuades the guy not to approach the island. He thinks the place doesn’t belong to the world. He thinks only fool will go to stir up the hornet’s nest. The guy is furious to scold Jikka. He wonders if Jikka hints at them that Shogunate is very stupid. Jikka denies it.
Shugen apologizes to the guy of Shogunate. He thinks Jikka was rude. He takes the duty as Jikka’s master. He asks the guy to forgive them. But the guy refuses to forgive Jikka even if Shugen kowtowed. He thinks Shugen is just an executioner. But his colleague reminds him that Shugen was in the case. The guy forgives Jikka in the end. He makes an excuse that Jikka was tired. He reads the general’s decree aloud. Yamada family is asked to go to the immortal hometown again. Shugen is the leader of the team.
Jikka walks out of the house. He complains it to Shugen that they’re just the chess pieces of samurais. He thinks nobody cares for them even if they’re dead. Shugen scolds Jikka. He thinks he did it too much in front of the people of Shogunate. Jikka laughs. He mentions case would be resolved as long as Shugen is there. Shugen explains it to Jikka that what he means is that he couldn’t stand it. He thinks he should have observed the etiquette of the samurai. Jikka realizes his mistake.
Shugen mentions he’s the agent of the lord. He thinks he shouldn’t let the lord down. But Jikka points out that there’s no death row inmate they can send. Shugen reveals Iwagakure ninjas will be sent to the island. The people of Iwagakure killed all prisoners sentenced to death. The general was happy with it. He chose four ninjas. Iwagakure Chief wanted to aid the general. Because he left something on the island. What he left is Gabimaru.
Shugen thinks it was a mistake that left the case to Gabimaru. He tells Jikka that he needs to join the reinforcements. Jikka is shocked. He mistakes Shugen was kidding. He expresses that he doesn’t want to be related to the place. Shugen tears up. He worries about his friends. Jikka worries about those guys as well. Shugen swears to land the island and complete the task. The guy interrupts Shugen. He wonders what they will deal with the monster. Jikka planned to show the monster to the people of Shogunate. So the samurais would know the island is very dangerous. But he didn’t have a chance. The guy tries to stop Shugen when Shugen touches the tentacle. He worries that the tentacle is alive. But Shugen reveals the tentacle is alive. He cannot sense any life from the tentacle.
Rien lies in the bed in a tent. He explains Taoism to his servant. Tao Fa breaks into the tent. She mentions they promised not to talk about it there. The servant apologizes to the fairy. But she says that she was kidding. She takes Rien to the practice ground she just built. He thinks the place is great. He mentions the room is suitable for the art of sleeping. But Gui Fa disagrees. She thinks the key of sleeping art is the cycle of yin and yang. It’s the best choice to stay in the middle state. Rien mentions Taoism shows different natures. Taoism can creature new power once you sleep with someone.
Ju Fa sleeps with Ran in the room. He walks out of the room with blood. Ran lies in the bed. She thinks he did it too much. But it was great. Tao Fa joins Ju Fa. She thinks he and Ran worked hard. Ju Fa tries to take over the drink from Tao Fa. But she forgets to put the stuff that makes the drink glow. She asks Zhu Jin where the stuff is. Zhu Jin doesn’t know it when she plays water at the pool.
Sagiri and her friends stay at a house. She thinks they shouldn’t stay at the same place. She offers to go to the gate. She doesn’t like the clothes that Yuzuriha wears. But Yuzuriha thinks her dress is cute. Shion takes her side. He thinks they shouldn’t wear blood-stained clothes.
Sagiri reveals their goal is to go to join Gabimaru and Mei. She guesses the city is the destination of Gabimaru if his goal is the immortal medicine. She thinks they will find the guy soon if they go outside the city. But Yuzuriha wants to leave the island. Because there’re many monsters and the immortals on the island. But Sagiri insists on going to join Gabimaru. She knows Yuzuriha just wants to help herself. She grabs Yuzuriha’s hands. She confesses it to her that she wants to leave the island with her. She reveals her rationality put her mind at ease. Yuzuriha believes that Gabimaru has arrived in the city. She mentions there was a broken wall nearby the gate. She thinks the only one who could do it is the guy. She tells Sagiri that her judgment is reasonable. She knows she won’t take advice after she makes decision. She reminds her that the guy has a wife.
Gabimaru and his friends climb the mountain. Gabimaru believes that they will find the house of immortals. Gantetsusai thinks it’s a bad idea. Because he didn’t see anything. Mei claims that she didn’t lie. Gabimaru wonders why he accepted the absurd task. He cannot figure out the reason after he lost his memory. Fuchi follows Gabimaru. He notices that he doesn’t look well. He worries about him.
Gabimaru runs into Choubei. Choubei thinks Gabimaru is his ally. But he attacks him. Gabimaru breaks Choubei’s neck. But Mei informs Gabimaru that Choubei’s Taoism is very huge. Choubei throws Gabimaru to the ground. Gantetsusai is surprised that Choubei is alive. He mentions Choubei’s neck was broken. Fuchi points out that the guy recovered. He thinks Choubei is the monster who owns immortality. Choubei needs to be taken down. So they will get the information.
Gabimaru focuses on Choubei’s weak points. Gantetsusai thinks what Gabimaru does is right. But it’s too brutal. Gabimaru is fighting like a beast. He doesn’t care who’s his rival. The combat style of Iwagakure is sabotage. But Choubei heals himself soon. He thinks Gabimaru’s attack isn’t special. He doesn’t expect that Gabimaru is so weak. Gabimaru tries to counterattack. But he only bites off two fingers of Choubei. Gantetsusai wonders if Gabimaru is weak because he was beaten down. Mei finds out that Gabimaru’s Taoism is weird. He reminds him that weakness is the seed of strength. He doesn’t have the seed.
Choubei thinks it’s enough. He orders Touma to kill everyone. Touma chooses Gantetsusai. Because the man only has one arm. But Gantetsusai grabs Touma’s sword. Gantetsusai learns that Touma looks down on him. He’s furious to throw Touma to the ground. He asks him to pick up the blade. He thinks he doesn’t have to pull out his blade for dealing with him. Fuchi reminds Gantetsusai that Touma has a reason to do that. Because Touma comes from Yamada family. But Gantetsusai refuses to forgive Touma after the guy looked down on him.
Touma decides to use Gantetsusai’s reflexes to deal with Gantetsusai. But Gantetsusai steps on Touma’s blade. He thinks he’s highly talented. But he lacks the capability. He beats him. He figures it out that he relied on his brother when he fought. He can tell from the perfect face. He thinks it would be cute if he begged him to fight together. Touma points out that he would follow his brother’s order as along as his brother doesn’t want to collaborate. He doesn’t like crowd. He thinks he and his brother are enough. Gantetsusai reminds Touma that it’s a crowd when he and his brother take action together. Touma claims that he’s a part of his brother. Gantetsusai notices that Touma has made progress. But he still thinks he’s a kid.

Touma orders the Taoist priest to go to kill Fuchi and Mei. Fuchi pulls out his swords. He asks Mei to stay away from him and the Taoist priest. He thinks it’s too dangerous. The fight of Gabimaru and Choubei continues. Choubei believes that he can kill Gabimaru. He can read the ninja’s moves because of Taoism. He remembers the Taoist priest told him that his Taoism is very powerful. Ordinary people would be engulfed by Taoism. But Choubei wasn’t engulfed. The abilities weren’t gotten through training. Choubei strikes Gabimaru. Gabimaru realizes that he will lose if he doesn’t focus his attention. He forgets the strange sensation in his heart. He empties himself. He remembers Iwagakure Chief told him that he should inflict massive damage on his enemy before he dies. He turns into a flame. Choubei sees the flame. He thinks it’s the ace of Gabimaru. But he can tell that Gabimaru is in agony. He’s beaten down then. He wonders if Gabimaru wants to die with him. Gabimaru doesn’t care it at all. He forgets his task. He believes that the person in his village will take over the task after he dies. Ninja is a whole. A person’s life has no value. He knows Choubei doesn’t want to leave the world. He believes that Choubei cannot defeat him. Choubei masters the key after he heard Gabimaru’s words. He turns into an immortal. But Touma is scared after he saw the new look of his brother.
