Se-Na returns to the house from the yard in Idol I episode 6. Ra-Ik and Hye-Joo are outside the house. Ra-Ik wonders how Hye-Joo found him. He guesses she looked into him. She blames him for staying in Se-Na’s house when she worried about him. She wonders when he liked the lawyer. He doesn’t answer her the question. He mentions he asked her not to be close to him. It makes her angry.

Ra-Ik reminds Hye-Joo that they broke up. But she doesn’t think so. She explains it to him that she let him go because she was scared. She thought he will get happiness. But it’s different now. She mentions he’s in agony. She thinks he needs her. But he denies it. He brings up that she thought he ruined her life. He thinks what she said is right. He persuades her not to make the same mistake. He claims that he doesn’t need any concern. He begs her to stay away from him. She wonders why he lets the woman stay on his side. He claims that the woman is the only one he trusts. He admits it to Hye-Joo that he was agony after they broke up. It didn’t work after he took the medicine. But he has persisted until now without the medicine. He thinks Se-Na helped him.
Ra-Ik persuades Hye-Joo not to show up in front of him. He gets into the house. He tells Se-Na that she doesn’t have to worry about it. Hye-Joo is on the way home in the evening. She remembers she hurt Ra-Ik.
It flashes back. Hye-Joo throws the photos to the table. She scolds Ra-Ik. She wonders why he pretended not to know it. She blames him for pretending to care for her feelings. She thinks he was mocking her. He explains it to her that he did it for protecting her. He knows her family won’t let it go as long as the news is released. He couldn’t let the case ruin her life. She points out that he has ruined it. She thinks she ended up like this because of him. She complains it to him that he gave up on her. He admits it to her that it was his mistakes. He agrees to leave as long as it’s her wish. She wipes off her tears. She’s heartless to tell him that he’s nobody to her. She wonders if he thinks he’s special after she gave him a little attention. She thinks he’s just a kid who shouldered the debt for his mother. He blames her for saying so. He thinks she just needs to apologize. She throws a fit to him. She thinks he should apologize to her. She blames him for telling a lie to the world.
Hye-Joo tries to walk away. Ra-Ik grabs her hand. He asks her if he’s nothing in her eyes. He begs her to love his inner self. She points out that nothing is left after his outer self is excluded.
At present, Hye-Joo asks the secretary to look into Se-Na. Se-Na works at home. She remembers Ra-Ik held her hand. Ra-Ik knocks at the door of her room. He puts the paper at the door. He promises her that he will try his best to cooperate with her.
The next day, Se-Na and Ra-Ik go out. He sees the car. He mistakes that she bought a new car. She denies it. She reveals she rented the car. She persuades him not to lose his mind no matter what Jae-Hee says. He comforts her that it won’t happen. But he’s furious to slam the table when he confronts Jae-Hee in Prosecutors’ Office. Jae-Hee knows Ra-Ik would do that. He reveals Ra-Ik often throws a fit to Woo-Seong. He claims that Ra-Ik threatened Woo-Seong that he will kill him. Se-Na persuades Byung-Gyun not to believe Jae-Hee’s words. But the lawyer has evidence. Byung-Gyun brings up that Ra-Ik planned to leave Golden Boys. Ra-Ik thinks Jae-Hee lied.
It flashes back. Jae-Hee complains it to Woo-Seong that Ra-Ik targeted him in the ward. Woo-Seong doesn’t think so. He tells Jae-Hee that Ra-Ik cared for him. Jae-Hee reveals Ra-Ik signed a contract with another company. He decides to leak it to media. But Woo-Seong goes against it. He promises Jae-Hee that he will confirm it with Ra-Ik. He asks him not to take action.
At present, Jae-Hee believes that Ra-Ik killed Woo-Seong. Ra-Ik denies it. Byung-Gyun reveals they discovered that the money was transferred into the account of Ra-Ik’s mother. He figures it out that Ra-Ik used his mother’s account for concealing the secret.
Ra-Ik and Se-Na are outside the Prosecutors’ Office. Se-Na comforts Ra-Ik that she will look into it. He wants to know where his mother is. Jae-Hee and the lawyer walk out of the interrogation room. Byung-Gyun tells Jae-Hee that they might summon him for investigation. Jae-Hee realizes that he was fooled. He runs into Han-Gu in the lobby.
Ra-Ik finds his mother Mi-Kyung in a gaming room. He drags her out of the gaming room. She complains it to him that it was hard to find a machine that she can win. He blames her for taking money with his name. He asks her if she signed with another company using his name. She admits it to him that she did it. She thinks she has the right. Because his name was given by her. He cries to tell her that he became a murder suspect because of what she did. He’s sad after knowing she doesn’t care for it at all. She complains it to him that she was taken to the Prosecutors’ Office because of him. She mentions what the prosecutor told her that he only needs to stay in prison for ten years as long as he confesses. He yells at her. He blames her for not trusting him.
Se-Na asks Mi-Kyung about the company she signed with. Mi-Kyung chooses to keep the secret for protecting her son. Se-Na takes Ra-Ik to the roof in the evening. He sees the video of Golden Boys. She hints at him that his fans trust him.
Jae-Hee returns to the dormitory with Han-Gu. Han-Gu isn’t happy after knowing Jae-Hee told the prosecutor that Ra-Ik signed with another company. He reveals the member who did it was someone else. He promises Jae-Hee that he will help him renew with Bo-Sang. But Young-Bin thinks Han-Gu doesn’t have to do that. Because he’s going to leave the company. He hints at Jae-Hee that Ra-Ik wouldn’t kill Woo-Seong. But Jae-Hee cannot see the truth because of his hatred.
Byung-Gyun and Jong-Chul are on the way home. Byung-Gyun reveals he plans to look into the witness and the suspect at the same time. He will choose one in the end. But Jong-Chul scolds his son. He thinks he shouldn’t change the target.
Ra-Ik returns home with Se-Na. He thinks what Jae-Hee said is true. Because his mother accepted the money. Se-Na reveals she has let Chung-Jae go to look into it. She thinks they can deny the contract easily. Because he didn’t sign the contract in person. But the problem is Golden Entertainment. Ra-Ik decides to go to meet Bo-Sang. But he’s not sure if Bo-Sang is going to help him. Se-Na gets a call from Hye-Joo. She meets the girl at a cafe.
Hye-Joo apologizes to Se-Na. She explains it to her that she was flustered that day. Se-Na asks Hye-Joo not to misunderstand her. She reveals Ra-Ik lived in her house because Ra-Ik’s house was sealed. Hye-Joo knows Se-Na kept Ra-Ik because she pitied Ra-Ik. She tries to give her the business card of the law firm. She comforts her that she will be the lawyer of Ra-Ik. The difference is that there will be many people helping her. But Se-Na refuses to accept the business card. She claims that she likes her own way of working. Hye-Joo begs Se-Na to let her help her. She mentions she loves Ra-Ik.
The next day, Ra-Ik and Se-Na go to Golden Entertainment. Se-Na wants to accompany Ra-Ik to meet Bo-Sang. But he rejects it. She runs into Gwang-Soo in the lobby. She brings the coffee to him. He learns that she came because of her client. He thinks she doesn’t have to give up on Ra-Ik.
Ra-Ik meets Bo-Sang in the office. Ra-Ik brings up that Jae-Hee thought he planned to leave Golden Boys. He needs Bo-Sang to take out the evidence. Bo-Sang mentions Ra-Ik wanted to help Jae-Hee keep the job. But Jae-Hee doesn’t know it. He reveals he has the papers. He agrees to help Ra-Ik. But Ra-Ik needs to prove his innocent on his own.
Gwang-Soo knows Se-Na doesn’t drop Ra-Ik’s case because of her father. Se-Na remembers she visited her father in the jail. She persuades him to deny. But he asked her if she will believe his words if he denies it. Gwang-Soo tells Se-Na that he believes that her father didn’t do it. He figures out the reason why she guards Ra-Ik.
Se-Na works at home when Ra-Ik tries to sleep. He complains it to her that he couldn’t sleep because she turned the light on. She tries to leave. But he keeps her. She notices that he’s peeking at her. She guesses he’s tired. He asks her to have a talk with him if she’s not busy. But she says that she’s very busy. He’s interested in her things. He mentions she knows everything about him. But he knows nothing about her. He thinks it’s unfair. She claims that she doesn’t want to be asked about her personal affairs. He promises her that he won’t do that. He asks her about her hobbies. She remembers she only paid attention to him when she was free. She cannot tell him the truth. So she tells him that she doesn’t have any hobbies.
Ra-Ik is told that Se-Na doesn’t like music. He takes her to the piano. He plays piano for her. He mentions music never lies. She wonders what he will do if someone lies to him. He says that he won’t be sad. Because he knows everyone lies. Ra-Ik sings a song for Se-Na. She remembers he did the same thing to her when she was sad.

The next day, Chung-Jae finds the person who signed with Ra-Ik’s mother. He reports it to Se-Na. Se-Na decides to go to meet the guy. She gives the house key to Ra-Ik. Ra-Ik goes to the supermarket to buy ingredients. He returns home. He calls his aunt. He asks her to teach him how to cook seaweed rice rolls.
Se-Na meets the guy in the meeting room. She’s told that they signed with Woo-Seong. She’s shocked. Ra-Ik prepares the seaweed rice rolls at home. He needs rice. He calls Chung-Jae. He’s told that the rice is in the attic. He goes to the attic. He finds the rice. But he also finds the box Se-Na concealed. Se-Na returns home. Ra-Ik asks her to explain it to him why she kept his stuff.
