Ra-Ik asks Se-Na to explain it to him why she kept his stuff at home in Idol I episode 7. He wonders if a lawyer would do that. He thinks it’s not reasonable that she trusted him and protected him. She admits it to him that she’s his fan. But she didn’t take the case because of the reason. He’s furious to question her why she concealed those things. He can accept it if she confessed in the beginning. So he wouldn’t reply on her. It was the first time in his life that someone defended him. Someone said that she trusts him. She took his side. He was very grateful.

Ra-Ik wonders if Se-Na would defend him if he’s not Golden Boy Ra-Ik. She cannot give him the answer. He leaves her house. He runs on the street in the evening. He wonders when she began to lie to him. He gets a call from Han-Gu. Chung-Jae walks into Se-Na’s house. He sees Se-Na sitting on the floor. He’s told that Ra-Ik knew the truth. He thinks it wouldn’t happen if Se-Na let him throw away the things. He tries to pack the things. But she stops him. She wants to throw away the things on her own. She thinks she can make it. But he yells at her. He points out that she did it early if she can do that. He mentions what she said that she took the case as a lawyer. But she couldn’t throw away the things. She throws a fit to him. She claims that she was going to throw away those things.
Se-Na tried to give up her feelings for Ra-Ik. She had to do it if she wanted to take his case. But those things she couldn’t throw away. The days that she liked Ra-Ik will disappear if she does it. So she put it into the attic.
Ra-Ik goes to the dormitory. He and Han-Gu don’t know where Jae-Hee went. Han-Gu reveals Young-Bin moved out. Young-Bin claimed that he feels guilty after he suspected Ra-Ik. So he couldn’t live with Jae-Hee. Han-Gu tells Ra-Ik that the prosecutors wanted to question Jae-Hee. The prosecutors are going to summon Ra-Ik. Han-Gu is surprised that Ra-Ik’s lawyer didn’t tell it to Ra-Ik. Han-Gu reports it to Bo-Sang that Ra-Ik didn’t leak why he had a fight with the lawyer. He guesses the guy didn’t trust him. He let Ra-Ik live in the dormitory. Bo-Sang asks Han-Gu to find Jae-Hee before the police.
The next day, Se-Na is woken up by the phone on the floor. She picks up the phone. She arrives at Prosecutors’ Office. Han-Gu reveals Ra-Ik got into the interrogation room. He wonders why the prosecutors want to find Jae-Hee. She knows it. But she needs to save Ra-Ik first.
Ra-Ik is in the interrogation room. He claims that he doesn’t know where Jae-Hee went. Byung-Gyun brings up that Jae-Hee went missing after he confronted Ra-Ik. He believes that Ra-Ik did something to the guy. He asks Ra-Ik to confess where he went after he left the Prosecutors’ Office. Se-Na breaks into the interrogation room. She blames Byung-Gyun for questioning Ra-Ik without the lawyer. But she’s told that Ra-Ik agreed to be questioned without the lawyer.
Se-Na waits for Ra-Ik outside the interrogation room. He walks out of the interrogation room. She follows him. She asks him for a talk. But he ignores her. She has to grab his shirt. She knows she let him down. But she cannot protect him if he refuses to accept her help. He stops her. He tells her that he cannot believe any words of her. She admits it to him that she took the case because he’s her idol. But she dropped her selfishness after she became his lawyer. She defended the human Ra-Ik even if she liked Golden Boy Ra-Ik. He points out that she made him trust her. So he cannot accept it. He wants to fire her.
Ra-Ik walks out of Prosecutors’ Office. Han-Gu asks Ra-Ik about his lawyer. Ra-Ik realizes that Han-Gu called Se-Na. He asks him not to contact the lawyer. He claims that the lawyer isn’t related to them anymore. Byung-Gyun joins Se-Na in front of the elevator. He blames Ra-Ik. He brings up that Jae-Hee went missing. She wonders why he didn’t look into Ra-Ik. She knows he won’t do that. Because he needs to admit that his previous investigation was wrong if he changes the suspect. He points out that it will be decided by him even if the pieces are beautiful. She thinks he’s like his father. She reminds him that prosecutor shouldn’t forcibly piece evidence together. But he’s doing so. He points out that the truth isn’t important at all. He thinks she knows it since her father experienced it. He believes that Ra-Ik will get the same bad ending like her father. He tells her that she cannot defeat him even if she struggles. He thinks she’s pitiable.
Se-Na arrives at the parking lot. She gets in her car. She calls Hye-Joo. She asks for a talk. She meets her at a cafe. Hye-Joo promises Se-Na that she will hire a powerful lawyer for her. The lawyer will join Se-Na. But Se-Na won’t defend Ra-Ik. Because Ra-Ik has fired her. Hye-Joo wants to know the reason why Ra-Ik did that. Se-Na reveals she let Ra-Ik down. Hye-Joo thanks Se-Na for helping Ra-Ik. But she doesn’t want Se-Na to see Ra-Ik again. Se-Na comforts Hye-Joo that it won’t happen.
Young-Bin is at home. Ra-Ik calls Young-Bin. He wants to know where Jae-Hee went. But Young-Bin doesn’t know it. Ra-Ik remembers Se-Na told him that she trusts him. He doesn’t know if he needs to forgive the girl. Se-Na returns home. She misses Ra-Ik as well. But she throws away his things.
The next day, Nam-Sik walks Byung-Gyun in the Prosecutors’ Office. He believes that Jae-Hee concealed something since the guy went missing. But Byung-Gyun points out that it cannot prove that Jae-Hee is the murderer. Nam-Sik believes that the guy faked the alibi. Nobody can prove that Jae-Hee was in the dormitory. Nam-Sik offers to arrest Jae-Hee. But Byung-Gyun worries that the media will take action if he announces the new suspect. He knows the reporters will think the investigation was unfair. He and Nam-Sik cannot shirk responsibility. He asks Nam-Sik to handle it silently. But Nam-Sik points out that they cannot stop the reporters. He thinks they need the arrest warrant so that they can look into Jae-Hee’s phone and his car. He reminds Byung-Gyun that the guy might leave the nation. But Byung-Gyun remembers his father told him not to change the prey. He allows Nam-Sik to get the arrest warrant. But Nam-Sik cannot change the main suspect. He needs to claim that he looks for Jae-Hee for the evidence of Ra-Ik.
Jae-Hee hides in a house in the evening. He calls Bo-Sang. He questions him why he didn’t allow him to tell the truth to the police. Bo-Sang wants to know where Jae-Hee is.
The next day, Ra-Ik is in the dormitory. He receives a paper from Se-Na. Their collaboration has ended, according to the paper. He meets Lawyer Lee at the Law Firm. The lawyer wants to help Ra-Ik. But Ra-Ik rejects it. He runs into Hye-Joo at the parking lot. She mentions she heard that he rejected the lawyer. He realizes that it was her. He wonders why she did it since she knows he wouldn’t be happy with it. She reveals Se-Na asked her to help him. She asks him to treat it as the help from his friend. He rejects it. He knows he needs to repay her once he accepts her grace. He has nothing to pay her. So he begs her not to do that. She realizes that he does it for the girl. She questions him if he likes the girl. He doesn’t give her the answer. He leaves the parking lot. She tears up in her car.
The next day, Se-Na is at home. Chung-Jae persuades her to take a break. But she claims that she’s fine. He mentions she didn’t eat and sleep. He wonders when she will stop from doing that. She says that she cannot hang in there if she doesn’t do something. He complains it to her that she cannot see him. He grabs her arm when she tries to go out. He asks her if she could see that he worried about her. He persuades her to rely on him at the difficult time. He knows she treats him as her family. But he wants to get her. She knows his feelings. But she doesn’t want him to cross the line.
It flashes back. Se-Na runs into Chung-Jae at the cemetery. She gives her candy to him. He’s arrested because of stealing. She becomes his lawyer. He recognizes her. She’s told that he’s a homeless man. She takes him to the house. He wonders why she helped him. She explains it to him that she doesn’t want the house to be empty. She reminds him that he needs to work for her if he doesn’t pay the rent. He gets into the house. He sees the candies she left for him.
At present, Se-Na works in her office. Ye-Sol worries about Se-Na after she noticed that Se-Na doesn’t plan to be off duty. Gwang-Soo hears that Ye-Sol and the lawyers are talking about Se-Na. He visits Se-Na in the evening. He asks her for a talk. The two drink coffee together in a room. Gwang-Soo is told that Se-Na was fired because she told a lie to her client. He reveals Bo-Sang knew the members would betray him. He tells Se-Na that Bo-Sang isn’t a good person. He persuades her to tell it to her client.
Ra-Ik arrives at Se-Na’s company. He sees her walking out of the building. He’s startled to avoid her. He follows her to the convenience store. She drinks outside the store. He remembers what she said that she cannot drink. He finds out that she’s a good drinker. She calls him. He worries that she will find him. He turns off his cell phone. She tries to text him. But she gives up the mind. She takes a cab.
Se-Na goes to the place where Ra-Ik played piano for her. She sits in front of the piano. She plays it. Se-Na is drunk to return home. Ra-Ik tries to leave after he made sure that the girl is fine. But he sees his things that she threw away. He finds a red hat from those things. Se-Na gets into her bedroom. She lies in her bed. She falls sleep. Jae-Hee calls her. He sends a message to her after she didn’t pick up his phone.

Hye-Joo returns home. Chairman Hong is waiting for her. She smiles at him. He brings up that she only smiles at him when she lies. He reveals he has known that she hired a lawyer for Ra-Ik. He asks her to return to the United States. She realizes that he does it for keeping the reputation of the family. She yells at him. She reveals she didn’t go home because she knew there’s nobody welcoming her in the family. She mentions he threatened to ruin the man she loved. She cries to bed him to pretend nothing happened. He points out that the guy is a murder suspect. He complains it to her that he did a lot of work for suppressing the news. She threatens him that he will lose his daughter if he hurts Ra-Ik.

The next day, Ra-Ik is in the dormitory. He gets a call from Young-Bin. Se-Na wakes up in her room. She checks her cell phone. She finds out that Jae-Hee contacted her last night. Nam-Sik calls Se-Na when he arrives at the car accident scene. He wants to know if Jae-Hee called her. She sees the news that Jae-Hee had a car accident. He’s in a coma at the hospital. Ra-Ik arrives at the hospital. It’s pouring rain. Se-Na finds Ra-Ik. He falls into her arms. She hugs him.
