Titan goes to the bar to meet Machine Head in Invincible Season 4 episode 3. Machine Head tries to drink. Titan thinks Machine Head shouldn’t have come to the place since he cannot drink. Machine Head mentions Titan is always in a rush to get somewhere he’s not. He claims that he’s more about the journey, the vibe, the ambience. If they don’t stop to smell the roses every once in a while, well, then what’s the point in anything. Titan points out that Machine Head cannot smell it neither.

Machine Head tells his friend that he would be on fire tonight, if rocks could burn. It promotes Titan to wonder what Machine Head wants. Machine Head says World peace. A pony. His name in lights. The list goes on. He thinks Titan should be tap-dancing his way out of bed every morning. Because they did the impossible. They slayed the literal dragon and stole his treasure. Machine Head tells Titan that Liu is going to kill him.
At the Pentagon, Cecil and Donald watch the photo that Mark kills the mastermind. Donald thinks Cecil would have done the same. Cecil admits it. But he reminds Donald that he’s not half Viltrumite. He thinks he cannot wreck an entire planet with his bare hands even if he’s in a bad mood. Donald reveals Mark preferred absolute solutions recently. Cecil mentions what Robot said that Mark almost killed the Dinosaurus guy they just locked up. Donald thinks Conquest and Angstrom were heat of the moment. And, technically, they’re both still alive. Cecil points at the screen. He thinks it’s a billboard. And Rus was an innocent man. That’s different. That changes things. But Donald believes Mark’s still doing what he thinks is right. After everything he’s been through. Cecil agrees with what Donald said. He thinks he knows trauma like that breaks people.
The Guardians return to the base. A sequid attacks Ruby when Ruby takes shower. Fortunately, the female guardian saves Ruby. He believes that they will be defeated by their enemies. Mark is at home. He remembers he killed Rus in front of the Guardians. In the mountain, Eve tries to create her weapons. But she keeps failing. She gets angry. Mark calls her at that time. She doesn’t hear the ringing. Because she puts her cell phone aside.
Mark leaves the message to Eve. He expresses that he needs her. He asks her to call him back. Donald visits Mark. He tells him that Cecil wants to see him. Paul walks into Debbie’s office. He persuades her to buy a big house with him. But she doesn’t want to do that. Because she and Mark have been in the house for twenty years.
Titan takes his wife and his daughter to have fun in the park. But he’s attacked by the assassin. He’s fine with his ability. But he asks his wife to take their daughter Fiona to flee. The assassin shows up. He tells Titan that he was sent by Liu. Titan discovers that the assassin is Magnattack. Magnattack tries to kill Titan’s wife when he fights Titan. Fortunately Titan’s wife is saved by someone. But it provokes Titan. He keeps punching Magnattack until he kills him.
Debbie returns home. She notices that Oliver will be as tall as Mark soon. She gives him a hug after she realized that the kid has grown up. Oliver asks his mother if Mark is at home. He mentions her brother was unhappy. She tells him that Mark needs to work through everything that’s happened. He knows it. He just misses the previous Mark. She persuades him that they need to support Mark.
At the Pentagon, Cecil tells Mark that he made the right choice. He reveals Rus Livingston was an astronaut. The guy knew the risks. The sequids had to be stopped at all costs. Mark wonders why he’s there. Cecil tells Mark that because it wasn’t like him. It’s not who he is. But Mark thinks it’s who he should be. If he’d killed Angstrom the first time, so many families would still be alive. He decides to do anything to stop that from happening again. Cecil knows it. He wants to keep Mark that way. He reveals he gave up sleeping years ago for making the Guardians sleep. Mark doesn’t have to work for Cecil. But when it comes to who lives or dies, Mark shouldn’t make the decision alone. But Mark claims that he’s not a kid anymore. He doesn’t need Cecil to handle him. Cecil reminds Mark that he’s a walking nuclear bomb. The most power thing on the planet and he cannot even buy a drink yet. If Cecil didn’t try to handle Mark, he wouldn’t be doing his job.
In Cecil’s office, Cecil and Mark argue. Sinclair visits Cecil. Cecil is furious to ask the guy to get out of his office. But Sinclair apologizes to Mark. Mark refuses to accept Sinclair’s apology. Sinclair leaves Cecil’s office. Cecil thinks Mark just wanted to kill Sinclair. He knows he hates the guy. But his Reanimen are one of the greatest military inventions. They’re already saving more lives than most heroes do their entire careers. But Mark thinks it doesn’t give Sinclair a free pass for torturing and killing people. Cecil points out that Sinclair saw Mark killing Rus. He came in and apologized. Cecil tells Mark that Sinclair is trying to make good. But Mark thinks Cecil arranged it. He goes out through the ceiling.
Donald walks into Cecil’s office. He explains it to his boss that he asked Sinclair not to show up. But Cecil thinks it’s fine. Because they have achieved their goal. He doesn’t intend to tell the kid about Conquest after he just killed a person.
Mark flies home. Eve is waiting for him outside his house. She cries to tell him that she cannot make anything. She’s scared to fly. He hugs her. He comforts her that they will find a way. In the house, Mark thinks Rex can help. Because Rex fixed Monster Girl’s powers ever. Eve gets a call from the company. Mark refuses to accept the task. He asks her to get someone to do the job. She wonders what happened. He reveals he killed Rus to stop the sequids. She thinks they should accompany each other. She offers to contact Capes. But Oliver volunteers to do the job. He was there when Mark and Eve came inside. He wonders how much the job pays.
Titan is in his office. His follower reports to him that Liu is hiding on the east side in the condemned hotel. Liu is sick. This is why he sent the fridge magnet to take care of Titan. Titan plans to use the guy to deal with Liu even if he knows he will face the punishment. But he thinks it’s worth it for his family. The follower offers to rejoin The Order. It promotes Titan to get angry. Oliver shows up outside the office. He knocks at the window. He asks Titan if he called Invincible Inc. Oliver gets into the office. He takes a look at the statue. He thinks they’re not charging Titan enough. Titan refuses to make a deal with Oliver. Because he didn’t see Invincible. Oliver flies to Titan’s chair. He sits on it. He claims that he can do anything that Invincible can do. He thinks he’s better than the guy. But Titan asks Oliver to get his feet off his desk. Fiona shows up. She runs into Titan’s arms. She tells her father that she’s scared. Titan comforts her that he won’t let anyone hurt her. Oliver lifts the desk with his finger. Fiona is shocked after she witnessed it.
Eve visits Rex. She complains it to him that she cannot make anything. But he tells her that she’s fine after he checked her. He comforts her that he will resolve the problem. He brings up that it took him one year to fix Amanda.
The aliens arrive on Earth. They catch some humans. Oliver carries Titan to fly in the sky. He asks him if they’re going to kill anyone. He worries that his mother will be angry if he does it again. Titian tells Oliver that he doesn’t have to kill the guy. He just wants to let the guy know that he needs to pay the price after he touched his family. Oliver needs to follow Titan’s lead.
On the plane, Cecil talks with the Guardians about how to deal with Flaxans. He brings up that the only one who could stop those guys was Nolan. But they don’t have to worry about it. Because they have Mark. The guardian sees Mark. He wonders if Cecil wants Mark to go home. Brit thinks the case is very simple to him. They just need to save lives and destroy the emitter. Flaxans will get old and die.
Brit jumps off the plane. He fights Flaxans. He asks the Guardians to free the prisoners. Mark tries to go to save the prisoners. But he’s hit by the mecha. Robot tells Mark that the mecha was designed to deal with his father. He persuades him to be careful. The Guardian orders Bulletproof to go to get to the prisoners. They will go to look for the emitter. Flaxan throws a grenade. Brit covers the grenade so that everyone is fine. But he’s blown to the building. He reminds Cecil that there’s a lot of Flaxans. But Cecil asks Brit not to mess around and he needs to find the emitter.
Oliver and Titan arrive at the hotel. Titan doesn’t trust his friend. But it’s what they got. They break into the hotel when Liu is coughing. Titan tells Liu that it’s time for a reckoning. Oliver refuses to fight Liu. Because the guy is like a hundred. Titan tells the kid that he shouldn’t be fooled. Liu claims that his strength is enough to deal with the two when his follower wants to join the fight. He turns into a dragon. Oliver recognizes Liu. He realizes that he’s the dragon guy. The dragon rushes Oliver out of the hotel. Oliver fights the dragon. Titan asks Oliver to be careful. Because the dragon defeated Invincible. But he can kill the dragon. Because the dragon is weak. But Oliver is thrown to the roof.
Oliver calls Eve. He complains it to her that he’s fighting a dragon. He wonders if the dragon is the old guy that she and Mark talked about. The dragon isn’t dead. He’s angry. Oliver asks Eve to call Mark. He needs his brother’s help. But Mark is busy. Eve asks Oliver to leave the place.
Robot saves Monster Girl. He realizes that where the emitter is. He gets the Guardians to cover him and Monster Girl. He and Monster Girl rush into the realm of Flaxans. Cecil tries to stop Robot. But Robot thinks it’s the only way. He finds the emitter. He breaks it.
The mechs are broken. Because the emitter was destroyed. Mark wins. Rex sees something in Flaxans’ dimension. He tells the Guardians that they need to defeat Flaxans in their dimension. They won’t fail next time if they let them to return. Brit thinks what Rex said is right. He takes the Guardians to run to the portal. He tells Cecil that some orders he just cannot follow. But the Flaxan closes the portal.

Oliver is hurt by the dragon. Mark saves his brother before the dragon kills Oliver. The dragon is knocked on the ground. Mark asks Oliver why he didn’t run. Oliver explains it to his brother that he didn’t want to do a bad job for him and Eve. They team up to fight the dragon. The dragon flees. Titan sees the dragon off. He tells the guy that it’s not over. Mark is furious to punch Titan’s head after he thought Titan hurt his family. Oliver stops his brother.
Mark and Oliver return home. Debbie dresses Oliver’s wound when he thinks he’s fine. He tells Paul that the guy was a dragon. In the bedroom, Eve meets Mark. She brings up that Rex promised to help her. She’s surprised that the guy and Amanda are gone. Mark comforts his girlfriend that the two will find a way home. They will figure out what’s wrong with her powers. They will use Cecil’s people if they have to do that. He tells her that he almost killed a person again. Machine Head has meeting with the evil guys. He brings a good news to them that Titan joined them. Liu joins The Order as well. He and Titan realize that they were fooled. Machine Head tells the members that they’re going to make money.
