The Headquarter sends the nighthawks in Tingen a telegram. They ask them to be careful in Lord of Mysteries episode 13. The evil god is going to be born after he was affected by Saint Selena’s Ashes. Leonard Mitchell joins Dunn Smith. He reports to the captain that he cannot control Megose. Megose is a monster now. She mistakes that the nighthawks want to hurt her baby. Klein Moretti throws the Sealed Artifact 2-105 Blood Vessel Thief to Leonard. Leonard takes Blood Vessel Thief. He uses it immediately.
But Leonard cannot target Megose because she’s too fast. She attacks him with her bone darts. He avoids the attack. Dunn offers to draw the monster to the hall. He and Leonard run to the hall. But Megose attacks them when she chases them. Klein performs a ritual. He asks Evernight Goddess to make Megose slow. Leonard catches the chance to steal ability from Megose. But she breaks free from Evernight Goddess’s grasp. Klein is knocked to the wall.
Megose hits Dunn. The captain is hurt. He stops Klein and Leonard from moving forward. He asks the two guys to come out after ten seconds. He comforts them that the nighthawks are fighting with them. He uses the power of Saint Selena’s Ashes. Megose is tied up. Klein catches the chance to cast the Flaring Sun Charm at Megose. The Flaring Sun Charm burns the monster. But she’s not dead. Klein mistakes that he killed Megose. She catches the chance to hurt his heart.
Leonard uses his ability to make Megose give in. But her power affects the people outside Blackthorn Security Company. The cop guides the people to flee. He stops Ince Zangwill from moving forward. But Ince shows his emblem. The cop mistakes that Ince came from the Headquarter. He lets him pass. Ince enters Blackthorn Security Company.
Leonard is hit by Megose. He passes out. Klein casts the sleeping spell to the monster. But he’s hurt. Dunn tangles Megose. Klein thinks it’s a good chance. He tries to use the Flaring Sun Charm. But he and Dunn are knocked away. A lightning appears in the sky. The people outside Blackthorn Security Company are scared to flee. Rozanne doesn’t run away. She praises for the nighthawks. She reveals she idolizes nighthawks.
The evil god is going to be born. Klein knows he shouldn’t let the evil god be born. But he cannot stand up. He sees Dunn walking to Megose. Dunn holds his pipe in his mouth. He takes out his heart from his chest. He puts the heart into the box of Saint Selena’s Ashes. Saint Selena’s Ashes unleashes tremendous power. The floor is covered with blue grass. The deceased nighthawks appear behind Dunn. They support the captain.
One of Dunn’s eyes begins to bleed. He unleashes the ability “Nightmare”. Klein kills Megose in Dunn’s help. He’s happy to tell the captain that they made it. Dunn’s pipe drops on the floor. Dunn says that they saved Tingen. He winks at Klein. Dunn collapses. He misses Daly Simone. Daly Simone appears on the street in Backlund. She doesn’t know her boyfriend is dead.
Klein climbs to Dunn. He feeds him the medicine. He tries to save the captain. But someone attacks him from his back. The person grabs Klein’s heart. Klein collapses. He wonders who attacked him. He sees a man picking up Saint Selena’s Ashes.
Ince is in the Red Chimney house. He takes notes in his room. 0-08 Quill of Alzuhod reveals Ince helped him gain freedom. Ince wished to get Saint Selena’s Ashes in Tingen. Klein delivered Antigonus Family’s Notebook to Ray Bieber’s house after the black divination. Klein shot himself. But the guy wasn’t dead. He joined the nighthawks. He killed the sequence seven who’s a member of Secret Order.
Ince was angry. But the result was good. Dunn’s spirituality was damaged. True Creator saw the coincidence from the ritual. But he didn’t reject it because he wanted to leave the barrier. Klein sensed what Ince did. He helped Dunn master acting method. It promoted Ince to change his plan. Dunn felt guilty. He took the Beyonder characteristic Kenley White left. The digestion process was interrupted. Dunn made a wrong decision. He took Saint Selena’s Ashes out of Chanis Gate.
Ince killed Klein. He prepared a ritual and he took Saint Selena’s Ashes. He became Sequence Four: Nightwatcher. The people in Tingen don’t know they escaped the disaster. The story is over in Tingen. The note flies to the window of Leonard’s ward. Seeka Tron tells Leonard that the Red Gloves are looking into the murder. He stops her from leaving. He reveals he plans to join Red Gloves. He asks her for more details.
Melissa Moretti and Benson Moretti are at home. Benson gets the message that the police stopped the culprit. Melissa figures it out why Klein was under a lot of pressure. Benson comforts his sister that Klein doesn’t need to arrest criminals. He realizes that she buy the expensive tickets for making Klein happy. Leonard rings the bell. Melissa is happy to open the door. She mistakes the person for Klein. But she sees Leonard. The tickets drop on the floor.
Melissa and Benson take a carriage to the cemetery. They come to attend Klein’s funeral. Melissa cries when she holds Klein’s pocket watch and the copper whistle. Daly is outside a store. She touches the group photo of her and Dunn. She looks at the sky. The rain wets her face. She sheds a tear. Melissa throws the copper whistle into Klein’s grave. She mourns her brother with the nighthawks. The nighthawks leave. Melissa puts down the Mechanical Turtle. She bursts into tears. Azik Eggers looks at the cemetery from the mountain top. He apologizes to Klein for not arriving on time. But he knows who was the mastermind. He throws a flower to Klein’s grave.
The next day, Klein crawls out of his grave. He goes to the Gray Fog. His heart recovers. He rebuilds the palace and he sits on his throne. He takes a look at the copper whistle. He thinks it’s a grave item. He looks at himself in the pendulum. He wonders who he is. He guesses he’s an evil spirit who wants to take revenge. He sees Ince. He figures it out that the coincidences are the ability of 0-08. He realizes that Ince’s target was Dunn because the guy wanted to get Saint Selena’s Ashes. Klein is told that Ince and Lanevus are in Backlund.

Klein visits Dunn’s grave. He remembers the captain told him that they saved Tingen. He pays respect to Dunn. Klein returns home. He doesn’t enter the house. He keeps a distance from the house. He sees Melissa and Benson in the room. Melissa notices Klein. She looks out the window. Klein hides behind the tree. So she doesn’t see him. She’s lost.

Melissa and Benson go out. They walk on the street. Petals drift down from the sky. Melissa is shocked. She tries to touch the petal. A clown appears with a bouquet of chrysanthemums. He hands over the chrysanthemums to her. He tells her that the chrysanthemum means happiness. He smiles at her.
