Klein Moretti decides to join the Nighthawks after he proved that he didn’t kill his classmates in Lord of Mysteries episode 2. He finds the base of the Nighthawks after Dunn Smith told him to come to the Hound Bar. He’s hired soon. Because the leader of the Nighthawks know him. Dunn knows the boy wants to explore occult. He confesses it to Klein that many of his colleagues left the world because they tried to drink potions.
Klein needs to choose a pathway from many pathways. He doesn’t have a clue until he reads the notes of Roselle. Roselle is a powerful Beyonder. He regrets that he didn’t choose Seer in Lord of Mysteries. Klein figures out that Seer is a good choice. He drinks the potion and he becomes a Beyonder in Old Neil’s help. He owns a new ability Spiritual Vision.
Klein Finds Blackthorn Security Company
Dunn Smith reminds Klein Moretti that he’s still in danger because they don’t find Antigonus Family’s Notebook. He invites the boy to join them in Lord of Mysteries. A transparent feather floats in the air in the city. It falls to the ground in a dark corner.
Klein holds the business card Dunn gave him. He remembers Dunn told him to visit Wright in the bar. He thinks he should join the Nighthawks because he wants to learn occult. He arrives at the bar. He opens the door. But someone walks into the bar before him. He apologizes to Klein. Klein walks into the bar. He joins the crowd. The people cheer when they watch a dog eat a rat. Klein sees a strong man beating another person then. The man yells at Klein when Klein looks at him.
Wright is working. Klein expresses that he wants to hire a raid team. The customer mocks Klein. He thinks it doesn’t exist. Wright places the beer on the bar. He learns that Dunn told the boy to visit him. He opens the door and he lets Klein get in the elevator. He closes the door fast. The elevator shakes. Klein arrives at the Blackthorn Security Company.
Klein Joins the Nighthawks
Klein notices a guest who sits on the couch in the hall. He walks to the clerk Rozanne who’s dozing off. He knocks at the table. It wakes her up. She reads the newspaper immediately. She stops and she sees him. She wonders who’s the guy. He greets her and he introduces himself to her. She learns that he’s the new Nighthawk. She opens the door behind her. She takes him to get into the room. They run into Leonard Mitchell. The Sequence Eight Beyonder greets Klein.
Rozanne takes Klein to go downstairs. They run into another Nighthawk Royale Reideen. Rozanne introduces Yoyale as a cold beauty. They walk forward and they pass by Frye’s room. Rozanne introduces the guy as a good person. They run into Kenley White then. Rozanne reveals Kenley is a nervous boy.
Rozanne and Klein are close to Dunn’s office. She asks him to visit Dunn on his own because she fears the captain. He learns that she fears Dunn because she thinks Dunn is like her father. He comforts her that it’s normal to fear father. She agrees to what he says. She’s very happy.
Klein passes by the Chanis Gate. The gate is magnificent. He walks into Dunn’s office. Dunn hands over a paper to Klein. He asks him to sign it. Klein learns that he joined a police department. Dunn reaches out his hand to Klein for welcoming the boy. Klein is excited to call Dunn captain. Dunn tells Klein that he will be out of control if he chooses to be a Beyonder. He gives him a candle. He asks him to follow him.
Klein Knows the Risk of Becoming A Beyonder
Dunn opens a gate. Klein follows the captain into a hall. He sees many gravestones there. Dunn reveals the people passed away because they were out of control when they tried to be Beyonders. Dunn thinks those people are heroes of the city. He pays his respect to them. Klein puts down the candle. Dunn brings up the creation myth. He reveals humans can own the abilities of all kinds of pathways through drinking the potion of Beyonder creatures. Klein is shocked. He remembers Alger Wilson mentioned it. Dunn asks Klein to choose one pathway. But he thinks he shouldn’t make the decision so fast.
Klein leaves the hall. He goes to see Old Neil. Dunn stares at the candles. He thinks they’re some poor people. Klein hears the captain’s words. He’s on the way to Old Neil’s room. He cannot make the decision. He finds out that he arrived at the alchemy room. He opens the door. He sees nobody. Old Neil shows up after the explosion. He coughs and he doesn’t know what happened. He sees Klein. He’s not surprised because the captain has informed him about it. He asks him to go to organize the books.
Roselle Suggests that Klein Should Choose Seer
Klein goes to organize the books. Old Neil asks Klein to decode the notes of Roselle Emperor. He shows him one of the notes. Klein is shocked because the note is in Chinese. He takes over the note from Old Neil. He begins to read it. Klein is in a galaxy. He sees Roselle Emperor. Roselle Emperor reveals he encountered a poor guy who was trapped in the storm. He thinks the guy was luck because he was the lead role of the era.
We go to a party. Roselle is dancing with a beautiful lady. The emperor thinks the lady is so good. Klein is embarrassed. He thinks the emperor is too open. Roselle reveals the key of potion is acting. Klein thinks the information is very important. He sees hope to go home. He doesn’t know Roselle failed to go home even if Roselle became Black Emperor. Roselle breaks a glass. He thinks Apprentice, Marauder and Seer are better choices. Klein wonders what the emperor meant. Old Neil knocks at the table. Klein wakes up.
He explains it to Old Neil that he tried to decode the note. Old Neil laughs. He doesn’t believe that the boy has such an ability. He takes over the note from Klein. He asks him if he made the decision. Klein decides to take Roselle’s advice. He decides to choose Seer. Old Neil thinks the choice isn’t good. He reminds Klein that he cannot change his mind once he takes the Seer potion. Klein knows the consequences. But he wants to follow his heart.
Klein Becomes A Seer
Old Neil laughs. He thinks Klein is brave like him. Klein claims that he wants to learn occult. Old Neil makes the Seer Potion. He puts the potion on the desk. Klein fears it when he holds the potion. Old Neil reminds the boy that he sits there because he wants to be a Beyonder.
Klein drinks the potion. The potion begins to work. He sees two Old Neil. Old Neil asks Klein to imagine a normal item in the world. Klein imagines a hat. Old Neil sees the hate. He compliments Klein. He orders him to imagine a item which doesn’t exist in the world. Klein does it. But the roof begins to crack. Old Neil is startled. He asks Klein to do it again. Klein sees himself standing on a missile. He wears a spacesuit then. The potion squirts out of the bottle. It falls to the desk. Old Neil scolds Klein for imagining the terrible thing. He asks him to control his power.

Klein opens his eyes. He doesn’t believe that he made it. He takes a look at his hand. Old Neil laughs to tell Klein that he’s a Seer now. He knows he will be different in his eyes. He reveals it’s spiritual vision. He adds that the ability can help him to judge if the person is healthy. Klein takes a look at the old man. He thinks he’s not healthy. He’s startled after he saw a giant pair of eyes behind Old Neil. Old Neil comforts Klein that it’s just a ritual magic.

Klein has a headache. Old Neil thinks Klein has the problem because he overused the ability. He reveals Leonard rolled downstairs after he took the potion. He teaches Klein to turn off the spiritual vision. Klein pats his brow. He turns off his spiritual vision. Old Neil gives Klein the bullets and the invoices. He asks him to let Dunn reimburse the invoices.
