A powerful Magician appears after the Nighthawks sealed Ray Bieber in Lord of Mysteries episode 3. His target is Klein because Klein is holding the notebook. Dunn Smith leads his team to protect Klein. They kill Magician. But the Magician is just a paper doll. Magician kicks over the suitcase. He releases 2-049. The Nighthawks are controlled by the Sealed Artifact, expect Klein. Because Klein owns the Gray Fog’s power. Klein makes Magician believe that he’s controlled. He catches the chance to kill the demon.
Klein knows it from Magician that his next sequence is Clown in Lord of Mysteries. Magician keeps mentioning the place Hornacis before he dies. Klein decides to find the truth. He guesses Hornacis is related to Antigonus Family’s Notebook. He believes his teacher Azik might know it. But he doesn’t get anything. He doesn’t know Azik is a power Beyonder. Azik has a follower the skeleton. Fans wish Lord of Mysteries to disclose the real power of Azik. But it’s impossible in episode 4.
Dunn Smith praises Klein for killing one person for saving everyone. It indicates that Dunn will sacrifice himself for saving Tingen City. Although the citizens in Tingen don’t know his sacrifice. But the captain’s spirit inspires the Fool. It promotes Klein to fight the god Amon for saving the world Dunn loves.
Klein Kills Magician
Magician tries to attack Klein Moretti from his back. Dunn Smith is decisive to shoot Magician in Lord of Mysteries. But he finds out that the Magician is just a phantom. Dunn asks Klein to take care of the Antigonus Family’s Notebook. Klein recognizes Magician. Earl Hasen reveals Magician is Sequence Seven Beyonder. He fights Magician. Leonard Mitchell joins the battle. But Magician’s face breathes fire. He flees. Klein holds the revolver. He realizes that he needs to shoot before Magician comes into his range.
Klein fires. The bullet hits Magician in his stomach. But Magician uses his ability damage transfer. He transfers the injury to his arm. He takes out a black whip. He whips the the Nighthawks. Dunn gives Klein an order. Klein shoots Magician’s head. But the Nighthawks find out that the Magician is just a paper doll. Magician appears behind Borgia. Borgia is knocked out. The suitcase opens.
2-049 uses his puppet ability. The Nighthawks are tangled by the strings. A huge clown appears in the sky. Klein cannot move. He realizes that the way to save himself is to use the Gray Fog. He performs a ritual and he gets into the Sefirah Castle. He coughs and he learns that 2-049 controlled more than two people because of the notebook. He realizes that Magician wanted to control everyone. He wants to go back to save Dunn and the teammates. But he’s not sure if he will be fine.
Klein begins to divine. He takes out the Citrine Pendulum. He asks the pendulum that if he will be fine when he returns to the real world. The pendulum gives him an affirmative answer. Klein returns to the real world. He finds out that he can move. Magician promises Klein that he will save his friends if he gives him the notebook. A rabbit appears from the hat. He climbs onto one of Klein’s shoulders. He rubs his face. Klein wonders which sequence Magician belongs to.
The rabbit turns into some pigeons. They fly in the air. Magician reveals he’s going to give Klein an answer. The pigeons turn into some black mouths this time. Klein learns that Magician was a Sneer. He wonders why the guy doesn’t know he broke out of the control. He figures it out that the Gray Fog affected Magician. Magician comforts Klein that nobody won’t know their secret. But Leonard opens his eyes.
Magician tells Klein the Sequence Eight of Seer Pathway. He takes out a metal rod and he tries to touch Klein with the rod. But Klein catches the rod. He shoots Magician. Magician tries to flee. But he’s controlled by 2-049. Klein catches the chance to hit Magician in neck. Magician intends to use damage transfer. But Klein hits Magician in his head this time. Magician falls down. Klein approaches Magician. He sees the mark of Secret Order on Magician’s arm. He figures it out that the guy came from Secret Order. He tries to leave. But Magician stands up suddenly. It promotes Klein to point his revolver at Magician. Magician says Hornacis. He dies.
Klein Knows Clown Is His Next Sequence
2-049 is put back in the suitcase. Klein touches the notebook. Leonard shows up. He praises Klein for tricking the enemy to walk to the control area. He brags that Klein is outstanding like him. The Nighthawks return to the Blackthorn Security Company. Antigonus Family’s Notebook is put into the room behind the Chanis Gate. Dunn tells Klein that he can only read the notebook after Holy Cathedral confirms it. Klein reminds the captain that he has said it.

Dunn mentions Klein’s credit. He promises to report it to Holy Cathedral. Klein walks Dunn in the hallway. He wonders why Ray Bieber didn’t leave Tingen since the notebook is so dangerous. Dunn thinks the guy made the wrong decision because he was affected by the evil power. They pass by the mortuary. Klein is shocked when he sees Magician’s dead body. Dunn comforts Klein that he did a great job. Klein reveals he knows Clown is Sequence Eight of Seer Pathway.

Dunn and Klein see Earl Hasen off. Dunn promises to escort Daly Simone to Backlund after the lady recovers. Earl Hasen praises Klein for killing a Sequence Seven. He wonders how he made it. Klein is embarrassed. He pretends to be innocent. He claims that he wasn’t controlled by 2-049 because he carried the notebook. Leonard learns that Klein killed the enemy with just one shoot. But Klein thinks the goddess helped him. Earl Hasen admits that Klein is the best Seer. Klein begins to consume the potion at that time. He decides to return to his school for visiting his teacher.
Klein Visits Azik
Klein visits the professor Azik Eggers in Khoy University. Azik looks out the window. There’s a kid having fun with his parent. Klein brings up the Antigonus Family’s Notebook and the Nation of the Evernight. Azik is familiar with it. But he loses his memory. He promises to let Klein know it if he remembers something. Klein decides to leave the teacher’s office. But Azik stops his student. He mentions he heard he’s working for a cultural relics company. He persuades him not to touch the dark. Because he worries that he will be hurt. A skeleton appears after Klein left his teacher’s office.
