Lord of Mysteries: Episode 5 Recap

We go to Zouteland Theater in Lord of Mysteries episode 5. The survivors of the Alfalfa Ship Tragedy and their families have a party in the theater. A diva sings on the stage. She wears a red robe and her face is pale. There’re two people appearing. One of them is killed. We see many bodies on the stage. The diva takes off her hood. A ship appears. Some people hold candles and they enter the stage from the left. Klein Moretti walks into the theater.

The diva holds up a cat. The people on the stage hold up their candles in Lord of Mysteries. A hero appears from the door. We cannot see his face because it’s covered by the hat. The rose petals fall from the roof. The hero walks to the diva. He takes over the cat from her. He takes off his hat then. The audience cheers. Dunn Smith appears. Klein mentions Dunn planned to send Daly Simone. Dunn reveals Daly went to Backlund with the people who escorted the Antigonus Family’s Notebook.

Klein Helps Joyce Return Home

Dunn coughs. Klein learns that the captain doesn’t recover in Lord of Mysteries. Dunn thinks he was very luck that he wasn’t infected. He reveals the hangman hit his spiritual nature. Klein mentions True Creator is the evil presence Aurora Order believes in. He thinks it’s similar to the creature Dunn described. He regrets that the guy died in the dream. The hero waves to the audience. The curtain is closed.

A ship anchors in the harbor. Klein reports to the captain that there’s a truth hidden in the tragedy of Alfalfa Ship. We go to one week ago. A girl visits Klein in the Divination Club. She puts her fiance’s photo on the table. She wishes to know if the man is fine. She mentions the Alfalfa Ship her fiance took has returned for one month. Klein begins to divine Joyce Meyer. Joyce Meyer falls into the sea. He floats to shore and he returns home.

Hero Tris

Dunn and Klein are outside the theater. Dunn tells Klein that they need new clue. The hero Tris autographs for the fan. Anna Wayne calls the man. He turns around. He sees her and her fiance Joyce Meyer. She thanks him for saving her husband. But he acts humble. He takes a look at Klein before he leaves. Anna introduces Klein to Joyce. She reveals the guy was the only who knew Joyce would return. Klein shakes hands with Joyce. He knows the man is suffering. Joyce is shocked.

Klein takes Joyce to his room in the Divination Club. The man reveals he had same nightmare every night. He expresses that he feared it because it was so real. Klein uses the pendulum to help the man remember. He asks him not to be nervous. He gets into his dream. The Alfalfa Ship is at the sea. Klein gets on the ship. The ship is on fire. The baby cries when he’s carried by someone. The person releases the baby. The baby falls into the sea. The thug jumps off the ship after he killed the baby. But Joyce saves the thug when he grabs his hand.

Klein wonders why Joyce wanted to save the thug. Joyce explains it to Klein that the thug was the only living thug. He doesn’t understand why those thugs did such things. He thinks it was weird. Klein reminds Joyce that he might ignore some details. They see the real culprit then. Klein is taken to the Hornacis Mountain. He leaves Joyce’s dream. He figures it out that the evil god tried to tempt him and the palace is related to his transmigrating.

Tris Gets A New Task

Dunn knocks at the door. Klein walks out of the room. He reports to the captain that the hero Tris was the mastermind. But Dunn needs solid evidence to convict Tris. He thinks they need the help from Mandated Punishers and Machinery Hivemind. The witch visits Tris when the man is sleeping with a girl in the morning. Tris carries a knife for protecting himself immediately. She laughs and she thinks he enjoyed the feelings that the victims and their families thanked him.

Tris mentions he convinced the women’s husbands to kill each other and he woke up in their arms. He’s very happy with it. He tells the witch that he’s ready for his advancement. But he needs to complete a task. She sits on the couch and she complains it to him that the partner was targeted by the Nighthawks. So he has to do it on his own. She gives him the potion formula of Sequence Seven.

Tris Is Wanted

Old Neil takes Klein to the bar. Klein complains it to Old Neil that he doesn’t need wine. Old Neil laughs. He asks the guy to follow him. They go into the alley. Old Nei knocks at the door. The door opens. He and Klein get in the elevator. They arrive at the underground market. They walk in the market. Klein runs into a person who has strong spiritual waves. The guy pays attention to Klein. He runs to him and he smells the smell of death from Klein. His eyes begin to bleed. He falls to the ground because he’s in pain.

Old Neil taps Klein on his shoulder. He tells him not to care for it. Because the man is very sensitive. Klein learns that the monster could see that he resurrected. He and Old Neil arrive at the stall. Klein wants to buy Melissa and Benson two amulets. But they’re half-finished and they’re expensive. Klein decides to find a way to reimburse. Old Neil praises the guy. Klein sees Tris. He notes that the informant of Mandated Punishers is tailing the man.

Tris begins to flee. He’s shot in his arm. Klein and Old Neil leave the underground market. They join Dunn. Klein sees two bodies on the ground. He guesses Tris fled. Dunn asks Klein to follow him. Because he needs his divination skill. They get in the carriage. Klein learns that Mandated Punishers found evidence of Tris’s crimes. Dunn leaks that the man is Sequence Eight Instigator. He adds that he belongs to Demoness Sect.

Tris Disappears

Dunn and Klein arrive at the house after the divination guided them. Dunn discovers the blood on the wall. He asks Klein to stay outside before he enters the house. Klein remembers the high levels of Demoness Sect are females. He worries about Trissy. Some girls run out of the building. One of the girls bumps Klein. She apologizes to him. He wants to help her. But she rejects it and she explains it to him that she’s sick. She reveals she plans to go to see a doctor. She walks away. Dunn opens the window of Tris’s room. He didn’t find the culprit.

Klein becomes a regular employee. His weekly salary is six pounds. He’s very happy. He goes to the Divination Club regularly. His potion consumption runs well. Alger Wilson has a change of his heart after Klein taught him to call his name. Klein makes the amulets for Melissa and Benson. Melissa receives the amulet. But she thinks it’s very expensive. Klein has to persuade his sister that the amulet is very cheap. He continues to learn occult and fighting skills.

A Female Beyonder Kills Many Survivors of Alfalfa Ship

It seems that the city is peaceful. But Leonard Mitchell visits Klein suddenly. Klein is told that the mortality rate is rising in the city. He and Leonard go to look into it. They visit Mrs. Lowes who just died of a heart attack. Klein looks at the dead. He knows she tried her best to live. He remembers his mother. He thinks he and Melissa would get the bad ending if Benson didn’t help them.

Klein begins to divine. He sees someone patting the madam’s back. He returns to the company and he reports it to Dunn that the murderer was a girl. We see a girl pressing a puppet in a dark room. Dunn thinks they cannot exclude the possibility that the instigator did it even if the suspect is a girl. The captain of Mandated Punishers realizes that what Dunn meant is that Tris and the female Beyonder committed the crime. Klein finds out that the dead have something in common.

Nighthawks Suspect Tris of Being Involved In The Deaths

Leonard sees that Klein has an idea. He informs Dunn about it. Klein points out that the dead will die recently. Leonard adds that the lives those people own were reduced by someone. He suspects the death cases are life stealing. He guesses the person’s goal is to summon evil god with those lives. He thinks it’s the goal of Demoness Sect. He tells Klein that the two protagonists encountered. It promotes Klein to think that Leonard had a strange encounter.

Leonard mentions he and Klein have secrets. He treats Klein as his teammate as long as Klein doesn’t hurt the Nighthawks. Dunn agrees to what Leonard said that it was a life stealing. He asks Klein to find the altar. Leonard gives a carry-on of the dead to Klein. Klein begins to divine. He finds the house. The Nighthawks arrive at the house. Dunn takes Frye and Leonard to sneak into the house.

Trissy Breaks Free of Dunn’s Nightmare

Trissy is in her room. The mirror is broken. It begins to bleed. She looks out the window. She takes out a potion. She’s invisible after she used the potion. Frye goes over the fence. He enters the yard. He takes out his revolver because he knows someone is near him because he cannot see her. Trissy stabs Frye from his back. It makes him spit blood. She mistakes for killing him. But he disappears. She realizes that it’s the skill nightmare.

Trissy cuts her hand. She breaks free of the nightmare. Klein hears the gunshot. He thinks they were found by the enemy. Dunn asks Klein to retreat if he’s in danger. He goes to help Frye and Leonard. Klein is told that Frye and Leonard couldn’t deal with the enemy. He realizes that the girl is Sequence Seven. Leonard shoots Trissy when she flees. But she turns into shards. The shards attack Frye and Leonard. Dunn helps his teammates. Trissy flees to her room.

Dunn Encounters Primordial Demoness

She goes to the altar on the fist floor. She asks Primordial Demoness to give her power. Klein is startled after he sensed the power Primordial Demoness released. The evil spirit attacks Dunn. Dunn kills the evil spirit. He breaks the window and he enters the house. A piece of cloth wraps around him. He breaks free of the cloth. He shoots the cloth and he sees the blood. The blood disappears. He sees Primordial Demoness. The shadow attacks Dunn. Dunn uses his power to block the attack. But he’s hurt. He begins to spit blood.

Trissy catches the chance to flee from the window. Leonard fights the girl. She casts a flower to his arm. She disappears. He shakes off the flower. The flower is back in Trissy’s hand. She laughs and she decides to let Leonard be the first lucky guy. She asks him to taste the curse from the witch. Leonard’s heart pounds. He see the angel on the way. He checks his wound on his arm. He learns that it’s a black magic. He breaks one of his fingers. He throws away the finger with the curse. Trissy confirms that she killed Leonard. She jumps into the river. She disappears.

Nighthawks Know Tris Became A Female

Klein fixes the mirror in Trissy’s room. He sees a girl in the mirror. He remembers he ran into the girl at Tris’s house. Leonard thinks the female Beyonder is like Tris. Dunn walks into the room. He leaks the altar cursed the victims of Alfalfa Ship. He thinks Tris is a suspect. Leonard points at the girl. He tells Dunn that he thinks the girl is Tris. Klein reveals Tris turned into a female. Dunn agrees to what Klein said. He smells his pipe. He’s shocked after he realized that the high levels of the Demoness Sect were males.

A trains leaves Tingen. Trissy goes into the train car. Her face is covered by the veil. A gentleman gives up his seat for her. She has a seat and she put a cigarette in her mouth. The men are attentive to provide fires for her. She uses one of the fires to light her cigarette. She exhales smoke.
