One month ago, Ming Yi is beaten by her boss at Flower Moon Night in Love in The Clouds episode 2. The boss complains it to Ming Yi that she wouldn’t hire her if she didn’t want to join the club. She asks her if she can do her job well. Ming Yi claims that she can do it. She takes a look at Ji Bozai who is surrounded by the fairies.
Ji Bozai walks into the kitchen. Ming Yi shows him the scallion pancake. She mentions the what her boss Fu Yue told her that she needs to be diligent and virtuous if she wants to keep a man’s heart. She reveals she wanted to look for a kitchen for cooking for him. He takes a look at the scallion pancake. He learns that she was making it. She admits it. She says that she loves scallion pancake most. She wonders if he likes it. He questions her why she didn’t come to look for him.
Ming Yi mentions Ji Bozai worried about her. He didn’t let her go out. So she wanted to do something for him. She wonders if he misses her when she pokes him. He carries her to the table. He takes the rose petal off her hair. He admits that he missed her. She wonders what he wants to do when he’s close to her. She reminds him that she just got out bed. He thinks they can work out when he touches her face. She grabs his hand. She learns that he wants to do it in the kitchen. She thinks the place isn’t good.
Ming Yi bites Ji Bozai when he tries to kiss her. She persuades him to take care of his body. He mentions what she said that she loves him deeply. He’s disappointed. He asks her to go home. Because he doesn’t want to keep the dull fairy. He summons Grandma Xun. Grandma Xun shows up. Ji Bozai asks her to send Ming Yi to Flower Moon Night. She receives the order. Ming Yi tells the man that she knows her mistake. She begs him not to send her back to the club. She worries that Fu Yue will give her a hard time. But he thinks it’s not his business.
Ming Yi hugs Ji Bozai’s leg. She reveals her family was poor when she was a kid. Her parents passed away. She lived a hard life when she was at Flower Moon Night. She begs him to give her a place to stay. She cries. He helps her up. He’s cold to ask her if she ends her talk. He thinks her story is too ordinary. Ming Yi is taken away by Grandma Xun.
Ming Yi and Grandma Xun are on the boat. Ming Yi’s hands are tied up. She wipes off her tears. She tells the grandma that the master misunderstood her. She claims that she wasn’t ready for it. But Grandma Xun asks Ming Yi to be quiet. She walks away. Ming Yi wishes Twenty-Seven to do something. She asks the guy to inform Mu Qibai that Ji Bozai sent her back to Flower Moon Night.
Twenty-Seven shows up at the Washing Silk Market. He tells the people that Ji Bozai sent Ming Yi back to Flower Moon Night. The guy overhears it. He reports it to Mu Qibai. He thinks it’s the best time to send their girls. Mu Qibai mentions Ji Bozai didn’t respond after he made overtures many times. He wonders how the guy will reject him. He thinks the alliance of Ji Bozai and his niece is unstable as long as he sends girls to Homeless Sea.
The dragon Bu Xiu returns home. He reports to his master Ji Bozai that Ming Yi is punished by Fu Yue. He brings up that the barrier was broken. But Ji Bozai thinks Ming Yi isn’t the only suspect. Because there’re many spies in Homeless Sea. He thinks they should get See Night Grass. He mentions Zhushui Lingzhou won Blue Clouds Meeting. He asks Bu Xiu to go to rob See Night Grass. He thinks he should protect himself. Because Zhushui Lingzhou has an evil spiritual art. Bu Xiu thinks it’s not a problem. He swears to kill any person who comes to him.
Grandma Xun reports to Ji Bozai that Yan Xiao brought a pair of girls. Bu Xiu intends to kill the two girls. But Ji Bozai stops Bu Xiu. He walks into the hall. The two fairies are waiting for him. Yan Xiao reveals Han Feng asked him to send the two fairies into the mansion. He persuades Ji Bozai that he needs a maid because his yard is so large.
Ji Bozai claims that he has a girl. But Yan Xiao hears that the girl was sent back to Flower Moon Night. He thinks the fairy should have been being sent back because she didn’t do a good job. He reminds Ji Bozai that the two fairies were selected by Han Feng. Ji Bozai tells the truth to Yan Xiao that Ming Yi left home after she had a fight with him. He wanted to pretend nothing happened. But he doesn’t expect that he and the girl were misunderstood. He claims that he wants to find the girl. He leaves the hall.
The prince of Yaoguang Mountain, Ming Xin is in his palace. His mother brings him the Chestnut Cake. He tastes the cake. He thinks it’s delicious. She mentions God Lord disliked God Empress after Ming Xian lost and fled. She reminds him that she has a chance to do something for him. He reveals he has sent someone to go to take down Ming Xian. He believes that his father will decide the new crown prince as long as Ming Xian dies outside.
Ming Yi is cleaning the floor at Flower Moon Night. Fu Yue beats Ming Yi because the girl is too slow. She blames her for offending Ji Bozai. She thinks she ruined her brand. She complains it to her that she was soft to hire her. The dancer Zhang Tai shows up. She thinks Fu Yue is the best. She hugs her. Fu Yue wonders if Mr. He left. Zhang Tai complains it to Fu Yue that Mr. He wasn’t happy because he tripped many times. She reveals she sang extra songs for the guy. She thinks Fu Yue doesn’t care for her. Fu Yue denies it. Zhang Tai asks Fu Yue not to let those girls wipe the floor there. Fu Yue asks the girls not to wipe. She leaves with Zhang Tai.
Ming Yi takes a break. She wonders if Twenty-Seven caught the fish. She discovers that the two guys are looking for her. One of the guys actives the Tracking Mirror. The compass is reacting. Ming Yi tries to flee. But the guy uses light rope to tie her up. He asks her to turn around. She wonders why Ji Bozai doesn’t come. She decides to take action on her own. She tries to turn around. Ji Bozai shows up. He stops her. He claims that the girl belongs to him. He asks the two guys why they chased his girl. He throws them down from the second floor. He asks them to get lost. The two guys leave. Ji Bozai asks Ming Yi to return to Homeless Sea with him. She’s happy to hug him.
Grandma Xun meets with Yan Xiao. He reminds her that she won’t get any benefits if she offends Han Feng. He mentions she stayed in the house because Ji Bozai helped her. He persuades her to consider for Ji Bozai. She yells at him that the people at Homeless Sea are loyal to Ji Bozai.
Ming Yi returns. She asks the people to leave. She blames Ji Bozai for wanting to let someone replace her. She gets angry. Ji Bozai asks Yan Xiao to explain it for him. Yan Xiao comforts Ming Yi that the two fairies won’t compete with her for Ji Bozai. Because they were selected by Han Feng. Ming Yi reminds Ji Bozai that he promised that he would be nice to her when he took her out of Flower Moon Night. She thinks she’s the hostess of Homeless Sea. He agrees with what she said. She threatens to ruin her soul if the two fairies insist on staying at Homeless Sea.
Ji Bozai hugs Ming Yi. He tells Yan Xiao that he doesn’t know what to do. He reminds him that he will be a widower if he insists on giving the two fairies to him. Yan Xiao leaves with the two fairies. Ji Bohai stares at Ming Yi. He learns that what he took home is the hostess of Homeless Sea.
Ji Bozai takes Ming Yi to a dark room. He asks her who she is. He mentions Yan Xiao visited him with the girls after she returned to Flower Moon Night. She realizes that he suspects that she was the one who spread the message. He brings up that the broken mirror of Yaoguang Mountain reacted to her. He examines her body for confirming if she swapped. She learns that he wants to wrong her. She complains it to him that she doesn’t know if the mirror is related to her. She mentions he gave the presents of Yaoguang Mountain to those girls. She guesses the mirror sensed the presents. He thinks it was too coincidental. She asks him if he found something after he examined her body. He denies it.
Ming Yi feels regret for Ji Bozai after knowing he got nothing. But he points out that she was flustered when he asks her the questions. She touches him. She claims that he was the one who was flustered. She decides to leave since he doesn’t trust her. She tries to touch her sachet when she opens the door. He stops her and he grabs her sachet. He dumps the stuff on the floor. He asks her to confess where she got the stuff. She gets on her knees to him. She asks him for his mercy. He wonders why she stole at Homeless Sea. She confesses it to him that she’s too poor. She reveals the friends she knows didn’t get enough food. But he thinks she shouldn’t have done that. She agrees with what he said. She claims that she feels shame. She asks him to punish her. She volunteers to do Grandma Xun’s job. But she’s told that she can speak it out when she has a need.
Ji Bozai mentions what he told Yan Xiao that Ming Yi is the hostess of Homeless Sea. He tells Ming Yi that the room belongs to her. She thanks him. He leaves the room. She takes a look at the sachet. She remembers she thought they should have many plans. Twenty-Seven gave the sachet to her. Ming Yi decides to let Ji Bozai be arrogant as long as she can be cured. Ji Bozai is in his study. Bu Xiu visits Ji Bozai. Ji Bozai asks the dragon to go to The Water of Winter and Summer before he goes to Zhushui Lingzhou. Bu Xiu wonders why his master wants to do that. Ji Bozai mentions Ming Yi was born from the place. He asks Bu Xiu to go to look into the girl. Bu Xiu learns that Ji Bozai wants to keep Ming Yi. Ji Bozai mentions Ming Yi can help him block the outsiders. But Bu Xiu wants to kill the girl. Ji Bozai thinks Ming Yi is very useful if she’s the kid of Herb Gathering Family.
Yan Xiao visits Han Feng. He reports to him that Ji Bozai refused to accept the fairies after Ji Bozai took the girl of Flower Moon Night home. Han Feng offers to use hard food since the guy refused to eat soft food. He decides to go to Homeless Sea.
Ming Yi and Twenty-Seven talk about Ji Bozai and Han Feng in the room. Ming Yi knows Han Feng worries that Ji Bozai will marry Princess Tian Ji. So Han Feng pretends to be nice to Ji Bozai. Ming Yi thinks Ji Bozai wouldn’t hide The Dream of Yellow Millet at Homeless Sea. But Twenty-Seven guesses the guy hid the stuff on his person. Ming Yi remembers Ji Bozai stopped her when she tried to touch his chest. But Twenty-Seven thinks Ming Yi cannot search Ji Bozai. She comes up with an idea. He thinks the idea is dirty.
Ji Bozai goes to Flower Moon Night. He gives a speech. He throws the jewelry to the fairies. He meets the fairy Ruo Shui. He worries that she will break her promise. She comforts him that she will repay him because he saved her life. But he points out that he wanted to kill the person. She swears not to forgive her father because her father hurt her and her mother. She wants to let the guy pay the price.

She learns that the guy treats Ember as his loot. She sees Ji Bozai and Han Feng. She eavesdrops on their conversation. Han Feng drinks with Ji Bozai. They become friends. Han Feng guesses Ji Bozai owns The Dream of Yellow Millet because he knows Ji Bozai survived after he used The Heaven of Parting Sorrow.
