Kun Lun is on the way to see Flower God in Love Never Fails Chinese Drama Episode 1. Immortal Chrysanthemum stops him. He persuades him to go back to practice. But Kun Lun rejects it. He tries to use the Flower God Token. Immortal Chrysanthemum stops Kun Lun. He tries to grab the token.
Kun Lun makes Immortal Chrysanthemum not move. He orders the camellia to bloom. She refuses to accept his order. He tries to freeze her. Flower God stops Kun Lun. Kun Lun smiles when he sees his brother. But he gets tied up. Immortal Chrysanthemum persuades Flower God not to take the duty for Kun Lun. Flower God rejects it.
Immortal Chrysanthemum hints at Flower God that the red camellia only listens to his order. Flower God is gentle to touch the red camellia. Heavenly Emperor summons Flower God because Flower God didn’t do his job well. Flower God goes to see his father. Heavenly Emperor ruins the red camellia in front of his son. Because he knows his son favors the red camellia.
Flower God uses his power to fix the red camellia. He gives a name “Hong Ning” to her. He sends her away because she cannot stay in heavenly realm. Hong Ning falls from the sky. She lands on Baizhou Mountain. Lemon Elf and Jiao Bo find her.
500 years later, Hong Ning turns into a pretty girl in her friends’ help. She thanks her friends for helping her. But she wants to be an immortal. Flower God kills the deer monster. He sends him into the Qilin cave. He tells the soldier that the deer monster won’t come back to do evil things. The follower reports to Flower God that she found the red camellia in Baizhou Mountain.
Hong Ning has fun in the pool. She wonders when she will go to the heaven. Flower God arrives at the pool. He punishes Hong Ning because she bloomed on her own. But she still takes mortal’s side. So he decides to take away her core because her evil thoughts. He finds out that she was the camellia he saved.
He blames her for not cherishing herself. He mentions she spent 500 years to be a human. She asks him not to kill her because she wants to be an immortal. He agrees to help her. But he asks her not to leave the Flower Realm. She’s excited after she heard the good news. She plans to go to say goodbye to her friends. But he turns her into a red camellia. He takes her away.
Flower God takes Hong Ning to Heavenly Realm. He asks Immortal Chrysanthemum to give Hong Ning 99 thunderbolts. Immortal Chrysanthemum learns that Hong Ning is a monster. He goes against it. But Flower God asks him to resolve the problem on his own.
Flower God returns to his palace. He punishes Immortal Plum because she worked with Immortal Apricot and they hurt Green Radish. Immortal Plum reports to Flower God that the goddess came to see him. But he refuses to see the goddess.
The goddess Lu Yao is outside the palace. She has a talk with her follower Qi Jing. She reveals she wants to see Flower God. But she doesn’t want to see Kun Lun. Immortal Plum walks out of the palace. She tells Lu Yao that Flower God refused to see her because he has feelings for her. Lu Yao is satisfied with the answer. She asks Immortal Plum to give the spell to Flower God. But Immortal Plum tells Lu Yao to give the spell to Flower God on her own. Lu Yao leaves.
Immortal Plum goes to see the new immortals. She tells them Flower God will keep them if their presents are good. Hong Ning wonders if she can see Flower God. But Immortal Apricot scolds Hong Ning for making a racket. Hong Ning is happy to reveal she’s a monster. Wisteria explains it to Immortal Apricot that Hong Ning came to accept the punishment. Immortal Apricot plans to send Hong Ning to Water Moon Realm. But Wisteria reveals it’s Flower God’s order.
Immortal Plum decides to let it go since it’s Flower God’s order. She tells Hong Ning not to make any mistake. She notes that her clothes aren’t good. Immortal Apricot asks Shao Yao to take Hong Ning to go to take a bath. She’s furious to leave.
