Hwa-Yeong meets Jae-Hyeong by the river in Nice to Not Meet You episode 14. She knows he wants to know why she left suddenly. She visited him in the ward. She claimed that she’s going to return to Korea. She felt sorry for her leaving when he needs her. She told him to forget everything and focus on the treatment. He cried after his lover abandoned him. He didn’t know she cried outside his ward.

Jae-Hyeong learns that Hwa-Yeong agrees to explain it. She asks him to be mentally prepared. Because she’s not sure if he can accept the truth. She reveals she discovered that there was a U.S. fund company facing financial crisis. One of top investors was his brother Dae-Ho. Dae-Ho found out that Hwa-Yeong was looking into the company. So he threatened her. Jae-Hyeong had a car accident that morning. Jae-Hyeong realizes that his brother made his accident.
Hwa-Yeong was scared. She worried that Dae-Ho will hurt Jae-Hyeong again if she writes the article. So she left Jae-Hyeong. Hwa-Yeong tells Jae-Hyeong that his brother did many bad things. But he doesn’t believe her words.
Jeong-Sin walks on the street alone in the evening. Dae-Ho drives toward her. But he doesn’t hit her. He gets off his car and he walks to her. He reveals he saw her because she kept crossing lines. She wonders why he didn’t fire her. He reveals he thought killing a person will be simpler. He tells her that it’s a word of advice. He asks her to give up what she’s doing. He thinks she won’t get a good ending. But she claims that she won’t give up.
Hyeon-Jun walks around the television studio. He sees a black car. The car drives toward him. Fortunately, he avoids it. Jeong-Sin returns home. She’s scared to sit on the floor.
Back to the riverbank, Hwa-Yeong has already left. Jae-Hyeong remembers what Hwa-Yeong said that the only person who can stop his brother is Jeong-Sin. She asked him to publish Jeong-Sin’s cover on Sports Eunsung.
Hyeon-Jun finds another studio. He finds out that the studio is locked as well. He wonders if the itinerary is right. Ji-Sun gets the manager to call Assistant Director. But the guy doesn’t pick up the phone. Hyeon-Jun returns home with Ji-Sun. Ji-Sun contacts the manager. He’s told that there was nobody at the production company. Hyeon-Jun thinks those guys did it too much. He gets angry. Seon-U persuades his brother to calm down. Hyeon-Jun complains it to Ji-Sun that he played the role after Byeong-Gi begged him. But the director and the crew ostracize him. Hyeon-Jun claims that he won’t film if Byeong-Gi and CEO Son don’t apologize to him.
Byeong-Gi hides in his studio. He finds his trophy from a box. He remembers he swore to be a director who won’t forget his original aspiration.
The next day, Ji-Sun visits CEO Son. CEO Son complains it to Ji-Sun that Hyeon-Jun left the set. Ji-Sun explains that Hyeon-Jun did it because Byeong-Gi kept revising the script. He admits that Hyeon-Jun made a mistake. CEO Son thinks Hyeon-Jun and Byeong-Gi were willful. He worries that it will affect the progress. Ji-Sun reveals he tried his best. But he failed. CEO Son mentions Kang Pil-Gu is changed. He offers to find back their original aspirations.
Byeong-Gi shows up. He puts the trophy on the table. He claims that nobody can stop him. He walks away. Ji-Sun is startled by Byeong-Gi’s speech. CEO Son realizes that they should help Hyeon-Jun find back his original aspiration. Ji-Sun gets a call from Sports Eunsung. He’s told that he’s fired.
Ji-Sun visits Hyeon-Jun. He doesn’t understand why he was fired. He reveals Jeong-Sin wanted to review the financial statements of their company. She thought King’s Back Entertainment will be in danger. Hyeon-Jun blames Ji-Sun for not telling it to him early. He thinks Jeong-Sin wouldn’t say such words without a reason. Because she’s very smart. Ji-Sun knew it. He went to the company to check the financial statements. But he wasn’t allowed to get into the office.
Jeong-Sin visits Young-Suk’s brother. She knows the guy and his wife are rich because of the death of Young-Suk. She asks them to confess. She gives her business card to them. Jeong-Sin gets a call from Hyeon-Jun. He asks her to come to his house.
Jeong-Sin visits Hyeon-Jun in the evening. She’s surprised after she saw Ji-Sun. Hyeon-Jun explains it to the lady that Ji-Sun was fired by his own company. He and Ji-Sun thought she knows some inside information. So they invited her to talk about it.
Jeong-Sin learns that Ji-Sun was fired. She wonders if he knows the reason. He reveals the person of Sports Eunsung asked him to sign a contract. He refused to sign the contract. He was fired then. Jeong-Sin explains it to Ji-Sun and Hyeon-Jun that Dae-Ho used King’s Back Entertainment to launder money. But Dae-Ho needs money. So he decides to sell King’s Back Entertainment.
Hyeon-Jun wants to fight it back after knowing the truth. Jeong-Sin points out that they need evidence. She offers to go to Ji-Sun’s office with Ji-Sun for taking some documents. Ji-Sun is moved to shake hands with Jeong-Sin. He thinks he got an army. But Hyeon-Jun separates Ji-Sun and Jeong-Sin. Because Jeong-Sin is his girl.
The next day, Gil-Su and Hyeon-Jun are on the way to the set. Gil-Su drives the small van. He wants to find back his original aspiration. He asks Hyeon-Jun not to have a fight with someone on the set. Hyeon-Jun claims that he did it for helping Byeong-Gi. He wonders what Jeong-Sin and Ji-Sun are doing.
Jeong-Sin and Ji-Sun go to King’s Back Entertainment. But they’re blocked by the bodyguards. Hyeon-Jun arrives on the set. He runs into Byeong-Gi. He notices that he carries the trophy. Byeong-Gi claims that it’s his original aspiration like the van Emperor Printing. He won’t forget it.
Hyeon-Jun refuses to play a bad detective. He thinks Kang Pil-Gu won’t become an evil person after he lost his friend. Byeong-Gi threatens to stop filming. He asks Hyeon-Jun to follow the script. Hyeon-Jun gets a call from Ji-Sun. Ji-Sun reports it to Hyeon-Jun that Jeong-Sin’s clothes were torn. Hyeon-Jun is furious to leave the set. Byeong-Gi gathers his people. They go to chase Hyeon-Jun.
Byeong-Gi complains it to the assistant director that Hyeon-Jun treated him as a floor mat. He learns that they have 12 scenes. He swears to complete it even if he knows he will vomit blood. Hyeon-Jun arrives at King’s Back Entertainment after the bodyguard pushed Jeong-Sin to the ground. He tries to punch the bodyguard. But he’s beaten. He gets Ji-Sun to take Jeong-Sin away.
Byeong-Gi arrives. He sees Hyeon-Jun being beaten. He takes his people to fight the bodyguards. A bodyguard tries to hurt Jeong-Sin. Hyeon-Jun saves the lady. He takes her into King’s Back Entertainment. He wonders if she was hurt. Ji-Sun reminds Jeong-Sin that they should take the documents. They walk away. Byeong-Gi shows up with the crew. He mistook that Hyeon-Jun fled from the set. Hyeon-Jun tells the director that he didn’t flee. He reveals the company is in trouble. He asks Byeong-Gi to change the time of the filming. But Byeong-Gi refuses to change the time. He asks Hyeon-Jun to complete the 12 scenes. He gets his people to take away Hyeon-Jun.
The chief secretary reports to Dae-Ho that Hyeon-Jun and his people ruined their plan. He didn’t take action because he noticed that someone was filming. Hyeon-Jun completes the filming. He’s tired.
The next day, Ji-Sun visits Hyeon-Jun. Hyeon-Jun mentions Byeong-Gi was a determined guy. Ji-Sun thinks the director found back his original aspiration. He mentions he’s fired but Hyeon-Jun is still in King’s Back Entertainment. Hyeon-Jun decides to hire Ji-Sun. He promises Ji-Sun that he will give him additional bonus. Ji-Sun is very happy. But he mentions they cannot get back to the office. He complains it to Hyeon-Jun that he cannot get into the office. He cries. Hyeon-Jun comforts Ji-Sun that he can enter the office. Because he’s at King’s Back Entertainment. But Ji-Sun isn’t president anymore. He needs to call Gil-Su team leader. Hyeon-Jun lets Ji-Sun be the president in his house. He goes to see Jeong-Sin.
Hyeon-Jun drives a luxury car to pick up Jeong-Sin. She thinks it’s too conspicuous. She gets into the car. She mentions Kang Pil-Gu wouldn’t drive the car. Hyeon-Jun points out that he’s not Kang Pil-Gu. He reveals Ji-Sun had a mental breakdown. She realizes that Dae-Ho planned it. He says that he had bad feelings when he went fishing with Dae-Ho. He wonders why she looked into such a dangerous person. She thinks she’s the only one who can resolve the problem. She collected enough evidence because of Ji-Sun. She’s thinking about a good way to disclose it.
Hyeon-Jun takes Jeong-Sin to the set he stayed. He reveals he played Kang Pil-Gu because Byeong-Gi gave him the chance. He complains it to her that he’s a slave of Kang Pil-Gu. But she thinks he lost his original aspiration. She mentions he was very lucky to get the role.
Ji-Sun meets Se-Na at the production company. She asks him to spread the rumor of her and Hyeon-Jun. She confesses it to him that she wants to get together with Hyeon-Jun. But he refuses to help her. She’s told that he was fired because Dae-Ho wanted to sell his company.
Hyeon-Jun takes Jeong-Sin to a restaurant. She thinks it’s a date. But he disagrees. He mentions they had a meeting up because of Ji-Sun’s case. She wants to go home to watch Good Detective Kang Pil-Gu season 5 episode 1.
Hyeon-Jun is at home. He watches his speech after he won the award. He remembers Jeong-Sin thought he was luck to play Kang Pil-Gu. Seon-U tells his brother that he’s going to go to Hong-Sin’s house watching the premiere. Hyeon-Jun volunteers to join Seon-U. Seon-U suspects that his brother’s motives aren’t pure. Hyeon-Jun threatens Seon-U that he will date Su-Ji if he doesn’t help him.
Hyeon-Jun and Seon-U visit Jeong-Sin in the evening. Jeong-Sin doesn’t understand why Hyeon-Jun came to her place since he had many choices. Seon-U reminds the lady that his brother came for her. The four people watch the premiere together.

The next day, Hyeon-Jun is told that Good Detective Kang Pil-Gu season 5 had disappointing ratings. He talks about it with Byeong-Gi and CEO Son. CEO Son feels heartache after knowing season 5 ended in a tragic manner. He congratulates Hyeon-Jun. He knows he didn’t want to play Kang Pil-Gu. He thinks he’s very happy now. But Hyeon-Jun decides to hang in there until the very end.
Hyeon-Jun holds a drama conference. He knows he didn’t act Kang Pil-Gu well. Because he wanted to try other roles. But he realized that Kang Pil-Gu is very important to him. He promises to take his enthusiasm to get into the role. He reveals his girlfriend is at the conference when he’s asked about his romance.
