The girl Natalie breaks into the dormitory for looking for Ryo in The Water Magician episode 8. She’s told that Ryo went to the library. She finds the water magician on the street. She reports to him that Abel went missing in the dungeon. He’s shocked. But he summons an ice cart. She screams on the cart when he pulls the ice cart to run. They arrive at a place.

Ryo wonders why Natalie visited him. She reveals Abel thought he will help her. He agrees to go to the dungeon. Ryo runs to the entrance to the dungeon. One of the guards disallows Ryo to do that. But Ryo summons ice walls for blocking the guards. He enters the dungeon. He remembers what Natalie said that Abel is on the 40th floor. He doesn’t have time. So he summons ice knives. The water knives dig a large hole in the ground. Ryo finds Demon Prince soon. He asks him to attack him.
Ryo raises his big sword. Demon Prince rushes to Ryo. Ryo cuts off Demon Prince’s head. Ryo thinks Leonore is faster than Demon Prince. But Demon Prince picks up his head. He puts his head back on. He turns around. Ryo tells Demon Prince that he’s very weak. But Demon Prince doesn’t understand what Ryo says. Ryo summons water knives again. The water knives attack Demon Prince. His core is broken. He shatters.
Abel thanks Ryo for saving him. He promises his friend that he will buy him a meal. Lihya hugs Abel. She cries after he was saved. Arthur introduces himself as the adviser of the Imperial Magic Corps to Ryo. He thanks Ryo as well. Ryo turns around. He sees the bodies. Arthur thinks they were too weak. He plans to come to take the remains after they recover.
Abel asks Ryo to go to take the cores of the demons with him. Ryo is surprised that the enemies he killed were demons. He remembers Leonore claimed that she’s a devil. He mentions he encountered the barrier when he came from the 39th floor. But the barrier disappears. He guesses the barrier disappeared because he killed Demon Prince. He reveals he found a weird item when he was on the 39th floor. He believes that the item is related to the case.
Abel holds the demon core. The people find out that the core is black. Arthur leaks that demon can use Space-Time magic. The adventurers guard the black item on the 39th floor. Leonore uses Space-Time to appear. She’s happy after she saw the Artificial Altar. The hero Roman tells Leonore that she should die there. He mistakes her for the demon king. She learns that those guys used the Artificial Altar to summon her.
Leonore laughs after knowing Roman is a hero. She’s excited because she thinks heroes are strong. She stabs Roman. She takes the black ball when the healer is healing Roman. She emphasizes that she’s not Demon King. She reveals there was a human Ryo who’s strong like her. She disappears.
Ryo takes Arthur to find the black ball. Arthur puts the black ball into a bag. Because the black ball contains magic. Ryo and Abel are on the way to the entrance. Ryo asks Abel to take him to the Curry Restaurant. Natalie is very happy after she found out that Ryo and Abel are fine. Abel thanks Natalie because he knows she was the one who went to inform Ryo.
Guild Master shows up. He scolds Ryo for entering the dungeon without the permission of the guards. Arthur reveals the boy saved them. Guild Master is shocked. Arthur takes Guild Master to the tent. The two are in the tent. Guild Master learns that Arthur encountered 50 demons. He guesses Abel saved the people. But Arthur reveals Abel was almost killed.
Arthur wants to know Ryo’s background. Guild Master only knows the boy took Abel back from the Demon Mountain. Arthur learns that Ryo is Abel’s friend. He doesn’t expect that Abel’s friend killed Demon Prince with one hit. He doesn’t wish Ryo to be their enemy because the boy is too strong. But he knows the nobility will hurt Ryo. He asks Guild Master not to mention Ryo in his report. Guild Master agrees to it. Because he doesn’t wish the boy to be the enemy of his kingdom.
Ryo takes his team to run in the field. The teammates are tired. Ryo returns to the town. He catches the aroma of the food. So he walks into the restaurant. He sees Sera who’s eating the food. He reveals he was drawn by the curry. She invites him to sit with her. He orders a serving of curry. She orders a serving of curry as well. She explains it to him that she doesn’t have a big appetite.
Ryo reveals he’s living in the dormitory of adventurers. She’s surprised because she knows he’s a D-Rank adventurer. He reveals he was D-Rank when he joined the guild. She sees that he’s very strong. The curry is ready. Ryo tastes the curry. He thinks it’s delicious. Sera agrees to what he says.
Ryo and Sera leave the restaurant. He mentions he didn’t see her even if she claimed that she’s an adventurer. She reveals she’s a Swordmanship Instructor. She asks him to have a simulated fight with her. Ryo and Sera are in the arena. Sera knows Ryo can use sword and magic like her. She attacks him. She’s very happy after he avoided her attack. She attacks him again. His sword is broken.

Ryo concedes defeat. But Sera hugs him. She praises him for resisting her wind sword skill. She learns that his teacher taught him the Sword Techniques. His teacher almost gave him the robe. She knows his teacher is Elven King. She mentions Elven King is the Legendary Being.

The maid informs Sera that it’s time to practice with Alfonso. Sera tells Ryo that she needs to go to accompany the grandson of the lord. She asks Lelita to escort Ryo. She says goodbye to Ryo. She leaves. Lelita takes Ryo to the city gate. They run into Guild Master. Ryo gets in Guild Master’s carriage. Guild Master asks Ryo to escort the merchant group to the destination.
