We go to the guild. Nils asks Ryo to team up with him for raiding the Skeletons with him in The Water Magician episode 9. Ryo is very happy because it’s what he wants to do. Nils and Ryo meet with Guild Master. They wish him to give the task to them. Guild Master reveals the kingdom Kailadi sent a D-Rank team to raid the skeletons. But they failed.
Nils and the Mysterious Town
Guild Master mentions the villagers refused to cooperate with the D-Rank adventurer team. Amon figures it out that the villagers excluded outsiders. But Nils doesn’t believe his village would do that. Guild Master thanks Nils for accepting the task. He asks him to be careful. He reveals the the E-Rank team encountered 30 skeletons. He thinks there will be no problem because the priest Eto is in the team. He asks Ryo to do his best. Ryo promises Guild Master that he won’t let him down.
Ryo and his team arrive at the village. Ryo is surprised that they came so early. Amon figures it out that they made it because of the previous training. The villagers recognize Nils. They’re very happy to welcome the boy. Ryo is surprised that Nils wasn’t expelled because Nils looks like a bad boy.
Nils takes his teammates to see the village head Brown. Brown gives Nils a hug. He brings up that Nils used to bring trouble. Nils yells at Brown. He asks the man not to leak it. Brown notices Nils’s teammates. He introduces himself to the boys. Brown is told that Nils accepted the task. Nils asks Brown to explain why he didn’t help the D-Rank team.
Brown reveals he witnessed the Skeletons in the forest to the east and the Goblins in the forest to the south. So he asked the guild to raid the monster. But the E-Rank Team ventured deep into the forest to the east. They defiled the forest with the blood. So the villagers wanted to drive away the D-Rank team when the team came to the village.
Nils goes to see the villagers because the raid is related to the secret of the village. He must get the permission before they raid the forest. Ryo and the teammates meet with Nils’s brother in Nils’s house. They learn that Nils is a good brother. Nils returns after he got the permission from Grandma. He reveals there’s a Guardian Beast deep in the forest. Ryo comes up with an idea that the Guardian Beast attacks them after the Guardian Beast was affected by the evil.
Brown takes Ryo to the forest where the goblins stay. He reveals there were some children who didn’t follow the rules. Ryo guesses Nils was one of the children. Amon discovers the footprints of the goblins. Nils realizes that the goblins built a nest. Ryo notices that there’re ten goblins coming to them. Nils offers to keep one of the goblins’ lives. So they can follow the goblin and find the nest.
Ryo and the adventurer team follow the goblin. They see a cave. They kill the goblins outside. The goblin general walks out of the cave. Nils remembers the goblin general he encountered. He thinks they’re not the monster’s rivals. But Ryo ties the goblin general with his ice chain. He asks Nils to kill the monster.
The team is on the way to the village. Eto and Amon are very happy after they got the core of the goblin general. Ryo feels relieved because they didn’t lose any teammates. Brown is surprised that Nils is so powerful. They return to the village. Grandma receives the message that the team raided the goblins. She praises the boys. Brown introduces her as the adviser of the village Nass.
Nass and the team are on the way to see the Guardian Beast. Eto sees that Nass carries the emblem of Mother Earth. Nass reveals she can use healing spell. She doesn’t need to chant. Eto is shocked. Nass takes the adventurers to see the Guardian Beast. Fenrir walks out of the cave. Fenrir tells his name Nkuusin to Ryo. Nass and Brown are surprised. Because the Guardian Beast never did it.
Fenrir reveals he’s the relative of elf. He thinks he should tell his name to Ryo. Ryo remembers Sera told him that Elf King likes him. Fenrir thanks Ryo for giving him a thousand-year lifespan. He reveals he tied the big skeleton in the shrine. He promises to release the big skeleton after the team defeats the 30 skeletons.
Eto purifies the skeletons outside the shrine. Nils and Amon open the gate of the shrine. Eto sees an Arch-Skeleton. Ryo turns Nils and Amon’s weapons into hammers. He asks the two to hit the Arch-Skeleton. Nils and Amon are tired after they killed the Arch-Skeleton.
Nass takes the group into the shrine. She finds out that the crystal ball the Mother Earth holds is broken. She figures it out that the crystal ball is broken because of the goblin cave. She decides to seal the cave for protecting the Mother Earth.

Ryo and Nils leave the village. Nils invites Ryo to rent a house with them. Because they cannot live in the guild dormitory anymore. But Ryo needs to think about it. Guild Master meets with Abel. He asks the boy to attend the celebration in Whitnash.
Two magicians fight in the arena. Blazing Mage scolds one of the mages. Because the guy let his guard down. The Imperial Commander shows up. She thinks what the mages did wasn’t good enough. She reveals she’s going to go to Whitnash with Blazing Mage. She wishes to see their good performance when she comes back. She leaves the arena with the Blazing Mage. She thinks he had his mercy because he didn’t hurt the mage’s leg. He claims that he did it for not delaying the training. She agrees to what he says. She praises him.
