Moon Palace Master is in anger because her daughter wasn’t chosen in When Destiny Brings the Demon episode 2. The lady comforts her master that they can use the girl Yu Rongrong. She believes that the girl can bring cultivation for Moon Palace. Liao Tingyan is very happy after she moved into a new house. She takes out the bag her master gave her. She finds out that the bag was filled with a lot of fruit.
Liao Tingyan notices the blood on her face. She remembers Sima Jiao killed a girl in the cave. She thinks she was lucky. Imperial Advisor of Demon Realm Ming Li meets with Young Palace Master. He suggests that Young Palace Master should use the bone poison in Liao Tingyan’s body. Sima Jiao visits Liao Tingyan when she’s sleeping. He wonders if she’s a spy because she was useless.
The cobra wishes to eat the fruit on the table. But Sima Jiao takes the cobra away. Liao Tingyan wakes up. She walks out of her house. She sees the luminous flowers. She spots the girl who was beaten by Sima Jiao. The girl picks a flower. But she passes out. Sima Jiao burns her. Liao Tingyan witnesses it. Sima Jiao chokes her.
Shi Qianlv gathers with the palace masters in the Lantern Pavilion. Moon Palace Master notices that Yu Rongrong was killed. Shi Qianlv keeps Yu Rongrong’s soul. Moon Palace Master scolds Yu Rongrong. Yu Rongrong reveals she just picked a flower. Palace Master Yin suggests that the masters should kill Sima Jiao. Because they hurt the guy ever. But Shi Qianlv asks the masters not to take action.
Sima Jiao rides the cobra to fly in the sky. He complains it to the cobra that the girl came to his place to go on vacation. Liao Tingyan wakes up. She finds out that the cobra is approaching her. She’s startled. She treats him to a drink. He leaves.
The next day, Sima Jiao meditates in his palace. He remembers what the palace masters did to him. The cobra returns. Sima Jiao learns that Liao Tingyan treated his cobra to a drink. He asks the cobra to be careful of the girl.
The girls gather in the room. They plan to kill Sima Jiao. Ye Ruling thinks they cannot kill Sima Jiao. But one of the girls reminds Ye Ruling that the palace master controls the lives of her clansmen. Liao Tingyan prepares a drink for the cobra. She wishes the cobra not to wake her up. She tries to sleep. But she’s in pain. Young Palace Master shakes the bell in the forest. He does it for summoning Liao Tingyan. But she doesn’t come. He knows she won’t hang in there too long.
The cobra takes Liao Tingyan to see Sima Jiao. He wishes his master to save the girl. Sima Jiao feeds the girl his blood. He thinks she’s smarter than other girls. Because she knew to be a friend of his cobra. Liao Tingyan wakes up in the cave. She manages to find Sima Jiao. She learns that she drank his blood. He asks her to serve him. She leaves his cave. He plans to use her since she doesn’t want to kill him.

Ni Sheng takes the girl Xiao Jincheng to get on knees outside the Central Tower. Ni Sheng believes that Sima Jiao will be moved one day. Liao Tingyan comes to the Central Tower to work. Ni Sheng is surprised that the girl isn’t dead. Liao Tingyan enters the barrier. Ni Sheng thinks she can enter the barrier like Liao Tingyan. But she disappears with Xiao Jincheng after she touched the barrier.
Liao Tingyan carries her personal belongings into the cave. But Sima Jiao asks her to drop it. He reveals he killed Ni Sheng because he thought she was so annoying. He asks Liao Tingyan to clean the floor. He leaves. The cobra takes Liao Tingyan to see Sima Jiao. Sima Jiao suffers because of the spiritual flame. Liao Tingyan helps him by mistake. He learns that she can help him. So he lets her do it again.
