Se-Jung witnesses the couple having a kiss in Would You Marry Me episode 4. She leaves the room. She’s sure if it was Woo-Joo. Me-Ri guesses Se-Jung and her friends left after the kiss. She and Woo-Joo return to their house. Woo-Joo needs a hammer to hang the wedding photo. Me-Ri checks the drawer. He’s told that they don’t have a hammer. They visit Sang-Hyun. Sang-Hyun gives Woo-Joo the toolbox. He asks him about his business trip. Woo-Joo claims that his business trip went smoothly. He brings up that Sang-Hyun visited him when he wasn’t at home.
Sang-Hyun invites Woo-Joo to play squash with him. But Me-Ri clams that they have an appointment. Sang-Hyun returns to his house. Woo-Joo wonders if they have to do it. Me-Ri thinks offense is the best defense. She mentions the guy suspected them. He strokes her hair because Sang-Hyun is looking at them.
Se-Jung stares at Woo-Joo when he’s working in the office. She remembers she saw the guy at the photo studio. She thinks it was him. She tells it to Won-Suk. But he thinks she just saw someone who looks like Woo-Joo. They walk into the meeting room. Won-Suk hands over the coffee to Me-Ri. She’s happy to thank him. Because she knows the team leader doesn’t have a girlfriend. She wonders if Se-Jung saw any girl. Se-Jung pays attention to Me-Ri when she tries to recall. She thinks the girl is the same as Me-Ri. Won-Suk reminds Se-Jung that she should have taken a look at the girl’s face. She’s shy to reveal that she didn’t see it because the couple was having a kiss.
Song-Hee suggests that Se-Jung should go to the photo studio to confirm. She thinks Se-Jung just needs to check the reservation list. Se-Jung tries to call the photo studio. Me-Ri persuades the girl that the people of the photo studio won’t leak it. But Se-Jung ignores Me-Ri. Woo-Joo shows up. He offers to have meeting. Me-Ri is anxious when Se-Jung runs out of the meeting room.
Woo-Joo meets Me-Ri somewhere. He reveals he changed the name when he reserved. She feels relieved. She thinks he should have let her know about it. He blames her for choosing the photo studio near the company. He worries that they would run into the people of the company. She explains it to him that she thought it was very safe because it was weekend. She feels sorry and she promises him that she will be careful. He asks her if Sang-Hyun contacted her. She denies it. She reveals she plans to cancel the visit. She decides to make an excuse that the relative passed away. He thinks she’s a good liar. But she points out that he will be in danger if she’s caught. He thinks she’s threatening him. She explains it to him that she just doesn’t want to bring trouble to him. She feels grateful that he agreed to take wedding photos. She wishes him not to overthink the wedding photos. Because he was just a model. But he thinks she was the one who had an intention. He suspects that the wedding photo was just an excuse. He reveals he was startled when she approached him.
Me-Ri remembers she kissed Woo-Joo. She explains it to the guy that she did it because she worried that she will be caught. She mentions she and Se-Jung had an eye contact. She claims that Woo-Joo started the kiss first. But he brings up that she rushed like a cow. She claims that she did it not for her selfish desires. He gives a bag to her. Me-Ri returns to Merry Design Studio with Song-Hee. Me-Ri tells a good news to Song-Hee that the chairman wants to see her. But Song-Hee reveals the chairman isn’t simple. Me-Ri decides to work overtime so that the chairman will accept her.
Han-Gu returns home after he attended Mr. Ko’s funeral. Pil-Nyeon wants to arrange a job for Mr. Ko’s wife. But Han-Gu reports to her that Mr. Ko embezzled public funds. He offers to cover it. Pil-Nyeon has dinner with her family. She asks Eung-Soo to take Mr. Ko’s position. Mi-Yeon feels relieved that Mr. Ko was alone. She brings up his family. Han-Gu stops his wife because Woo-Joo is there. Mi-Yeon explains it to Woo-Joo that she didn’t intend to say it to him. He claims that he’s fine. But he leaves. Pil-Nyeon scolds Mi-Yeon. She asks her to wear a mask. Eung-Soo reveals Woo-Joo held a doll when it was thundering.
Woo-Joo returns to his room. He takes a look at his family photo. He takes out a doll from his drawer. He remembers he got out of the car after the car accident. He cried to seek help. He ran into Me-Ri and her father. The three were taken to the police station. Me-Ri gave the doll to Woo-Joo. She said that it was her birthday present that was given by her father. Pil-Nyeon arrived. Woo-Joo cried to run to his grandma. He turned around and he found out that Me-Ri was missing. He tried to leave the police station. He saw Me-Ri crying. She cried because she worried that his father would die. She thought he would be poor if he lost his parents.
The next day, Jin-Gyeong is at the hospital. She uses her cell phone for looking for the best dating place. She asks Woo-Joo out. But he has an appointment in the morning. He offers to have a meeting up in the evening. She’s very happy and she thinks it’s a date. She’s told that the patient Sung-Woo threw a fit to the nurse. Sang-Hyun walks past her. She takes a look at him when she learns that he comes every time when Sung-Woo calls him.
Me-Ri puts her and Woo-Joo’s stuff at the house. She thinks it looks like a newlywed home. Woo-Joo shows up after he wore the couple’s outfits. He wonders if he has to wear it. She thinks the couple’s outfits are needed because they’re newlyweds. She finds out that the clothes fit him. She runs away. He takes a look at their wedding photo. He smiles. She returns with a pair of slippers. She lets him wear it. He learns that Woo-Joo-2 didn’t thank her after she gave a lot. He wonders how she dated the guy.
Me-Ri went on vacation with her friends. But she fell into the sea. Woo-Joo-2 saved her. Me-Ri says that she opened her eyes and she saw a very handsome guy. Woo-Joo learns that she fell for the guy because his good looking. She laughs to admit it. But she thinks she wouldn’t marry the guy because of his face. He asks her if she regrets. She says that she did it. But she wonders why she gave her whole heart to the person. She thinks she was a fool. She thought it was love. She decides not to do it anymore. He wonders why she wants to change. He believes that she will encounter a good man who won’t let her down. But she thinks the day won’t come. She says that he comforted her. He smiles.
Me-Ri leaves her cell phone in the bedroom. Young-Sook calls Me-Ri. Me-Ri doesn’t pick up the phone. Young-Sook thinks her daughter is very busy. She finds out that her friend is eating her food. She scolds her because she thinks her in-laws don’t taste it. The friend thinks Young-Sook is too stingy. She wonders if Young-Sook’s in-laws will throw a party. Young-Sook tells a lie to her friend that she’s going to go to see Me-Ri’s aunt who’s hospitalized in Seoul. The friend thinks Young-Sook’s in-laws are very luck. She wishes to be Young-Sook’s in-law if she has a son. So she will eat the delicious food all the time. Young-Sook laughs. She claims that she wouldn’t let her daughter marry any man. She mentions Me-Ri’s father-in-law is a professor in a college. But the friend doesn’t believe it. She mentions the family didn’t give Young-Sook anything after they got the food. Young-Sook claims that she didn’t accept it. She thinks she doesn’t have to brag about the food. But the friend tells Young-Sook that those guys are looking down on her. She mentions her son-in-law didn’t come. Young-Sook explains that her son-in-law is very busy. She reveals the guy is working at a Major Investment Firm in Seoul. She mentions what the guy said that he will let her live in Seoul with him. But she rejected it. She decides to meet the guy since she’s going to go to Seoul.
Woo-Joo-2 sits on the bed in the hotel room. He’s anxious because his stock has fallen. He gets a call from Young-Sook. He’s startled to throw away his cell phone. He wonders why the madam called him. He worries that Me-Ri has told her mother that they got divorced. So he turns off his cell phone. He sees the message someone sent to Jenny. The man asks her to come to his room. Jenny shows up after she took a shower. She asks him to go to take a shower. She’s happy to run to him. He gives her a kiss. He notices that she’s checking her cell phone before he leaves.
Sang-Hyun arrives at the police station. He calls Me-Ri. He informs her that the visit is cancelled. He meets the guy Gu-Sik who was beaten by Sung-Woo. The guy forgives Sung-Woo after he saw the money Sang-Hyun is going to give him.
Woo-Joo is told that the visit was cancelled. He notices the sketch of the mascot. He wants to take a look at the mascot. Sang-Hyun goes to the hospital to see Sung-Woo after he resolved the problem. But Sung-Woo mistakes that Sang-Hyun swindled him out of his money. Sang-Hyun explains it to his boss that he has to pay it because the guy had the CCTV. Sung-Woo needs to stay in the hospital for a few days. Because his father mistook him for a victim. He’s furious to ask Sang-Hyun to go to buy him sushi. Sang-Hyun leaves the ward. Jin-Gyeong shows up. She witnessed what Sung-Woo did.
Woo-Joo and Me-Ri talk about the mascots. One of the mascots is Me-Ri’s first lover. She pushes Woo-Joo after he told her a lie that he didn’t have a first love. Jin-Gyeong calls Woo-Joo. But he forgets the date. He promises to come to the meeting place. But she claims that she needs to work overtime. So she asks him not to come.
Jin-Gyeong goes to the bar. She regrets that she pretended to be busy. Sang-Hyun sits next to her. He begins to drink. She recognizes him. She praises him for putting up with his boss. But he wants to fire her because she didn’t keep the secret. She explains it to him that she tried to comfort him. But he thinks she was arrogant. She figures it out that he thinks money solve any problem. She thinks his thinking is wrong. But he says that he doesn’t want to waste any emotion. She persuades him to speak out if he needs someone to comfort him. She points out that he came because he was sad. But he looks at her. She confesses it to him that she came to the bar because she was stood up by a man. He gives a glass of wine to her. She mistakes that he wants to hit on her. But she’s told that he wishes her to go home so that he can drink alone.
Me-Ri is having meeting at Myungsoondang. She receives a message from Young-Sook. She’s told that her mother came to Seoul and she’s going to go to meet her in-laws. Me-Ri runs out of the meeting room. She calls her mother. But Young-Sook doesn’t pick up the phone. Because she puts her cell phone into the bag. Woo-Joo shows up. He reminds Me-Ri that it’s her turn. But she needs to stop her mother. He promises her that he will make sure that her mother won’t see Woo-Joo-2’s family.
Young-Sook visits Eun-Sook. She’s told that her daughter and Woo-Joo-2 got divorced. She gives the side dish to Jin-Hwa. She tries to save the marriage. But Jin-Hwa refuses to accept the side dish after her mother gave her an order. Eun-Sook closes the door. It makes Young-Sook fall down. The side dish scatters all over the ground. Woo-Joo arrives. He helps Young-Sook pick up the side dish. They’re on the way to go to the station. They talk about Me-Ri.
Me-Ri calls her mother after the meeting. Young-Sook is at the station. She asks her daughter to thank Woo-Joo because the guy took him there. Woo-Joo buys a ticket. He gives the ticket to Young-Sook. He promises the madam that he won’t leak that she saw her in-laws.
Woo-Joo is on the way home. He calls Me-Ri. He reports to her that her mother asked him to take the side dish. She’s in a cab. She gets a call from Jin-Hwa. Me-Ri is at home. She lies on the couch. She tears up. She wipes off her tears. She goes to open the door when Woo-Joo returns. She tears up again when he cares for her. Me-Ri reveals her mother has known what happened. Because Jin-Hwa threw a fit to her for the coming of her mother. Woo-Joo persuades the girl to confess it to her mother.
Me-Ri calls Young-Sook who has returned home. Me-Ri tries to say something. But Young-Sook stops her daughter. Because she has known it. She persuades her to forget the man. But she’s told that she won a lottery. Young-Sook asks Me-Ri to keep the secret. She tears up Woo-Joo-2’s phone. She throws it into the trash can. She thinks it’s fate. She dances.
