Seok Ji-Won tries to confirm if he kissed Yoon Ji-Won in Love Your Enemy: Episode 7. But she feels shame and stops him. She tells him that it was the mistake she wants to forget. He’s not happy so that he brings up their bet. She needs to date him because the flower bloomed.
Seok Ji-Won tells Yoon Ji-Won that it’s their first day of dating. He’s proud to leave. She’s insane to scream. The next day, the students surrounds the lilac to take photos. The bet spreads the whole school. Yoon Ji-Won is surrounded by the colleagues.
She explains it to them that it was just a joke. She asks them not to believe it. But Seok Ji-Won shows up. He complains it to Yoon Ji-Won that he couldn’t reach her. He wants to go out with her in the evening. She takes him away because she doesn’t want to date him.
She decides to break the bet and she asks him to slap her. She mentions he didn’t call her older sister after he lost. He tries to persuade her. But she breaks his heart after she thought they’re not young anymore. He begins to tangle her since she didn’t agree to date him.
He’s cheeky to call her honey. He returns home and he sees her eating barbecue with Moon-Soo. He remembers his follower Ki-Ha suggests he pretends to be weak. He tells Yoon Ji-Won that he has a stomachache. She puts his words into her mind.
She cooks porridge for him even if she complained that he’s weak. But she sees him eating noodles when she walks into his room. She gets angry and she tries to leave. But he stops her. She throws porridge at him when they argue. She washes the injured foot for him.
He persuades her to accept the bet. Because the lilac will only bloom for two weeks. He offers to date until the flower withers. He threatens to tangle her. She has to agree to go out with him tomorrow night.
The next day, Seok Ji-Won is cold to pass through Yoon Ji-Won. She offered to date secretly last night. He has to find her secretly. He asks her about the rendezvous. She walks into his office and she puts the papers on the desk. They appoint to have a meeting at the bus stop.
She returns home and she picks the dress for the dating. She opens the cell phone she used when she was in high school. She takes a look at the group photo of them. She smiles. She uploads the file into her computer then. She goes to see Seok Ji-Won.
Seok Ji-Won wears the trendy clothes to wait for Yoon Ji-Won. But she wears the sportswear to see him. The two get in the car. But Seok Ji-Won doesn’t have any dating plan. He has to take her to a high class restaurant. She’s not satisfied with him plan. But she smiles after she turned around. She enjoys the good date time.
They go to the restaurant. But they find out that they need to reserve in advance. Yoon Ji-Won mocks Seok Ji-Won. She thinks he’s a rookie. She believes that his last date was 18 years ago. He doesn’t want to be defeated. He mentions she was nervous to shake. He thinks she hasn’t dated for a long time.
She’s fast to take his arm. She asks him if it’s like date. He hugs her. It’s witnessed by the colleagues who came to have a dinner party. The colleagues wonder if the two are dating. Seok Ji-Won worries that Yoon Ji-Won will lose face in front of the colleagues if he admits the love relationship.
He claims that he hugged Yoon Ji-Won because she didn’t accept the bet. He takes the blame for her. Her friend Soo-A scolds him. They go to the riverside to drink after the gathering. Yoon Ji-Won remembers Seok Ji-Won took the blame for her when they were in high school. He ignored the rumor and he only cared for her.
They talk about their absence from each other’s lives. Yoon Ji-Won is drunk. She leans on Seok Ji-Won’s shoulder. She falls asleep. He carries her to walk on the street like he did it to her in the high school. They take a cab. She wakes up and she finds out that he’s falling asleep in the car.
She touches his face. He wakes up. She pretends there’s a mosquito. She slaps his face. She turns around to the car window. She regrets for what she did.
The next day, he blocks her way at the school. He couldn’t reach her because she doesn’t buy new cell phone. He has to wait for her. He returns home with her. They witness Jae-Ho fall when Jae-Ho puts in the light bulb. Seok Ji-Won rushes to Jae-Ho. He catches him. It’s witnessed by Moon-Soo and Gyeong-Tae.
It flashes back. Ji-Hye’s father Do-Sik is a assemblyman of the town. Gyeong-Tae wants to build a golf course. So he comes to flatter Do-Sik. Do-Sik knows Seok Ji-Won doesn’t get married. So he takes his daughter to see Gyeong-Tae.
Ji-Hye asks Gyeong-Tae if he knows where his son lives. He didn’t care for the question. He asks Seok Ji-Won’s secretary about it after Ji-Hye reminded him. He gets the answer then.
Gyeong-Tae is furious to slap Seok Ji-Won. He blames him for using the dating as a bet. He mentions what he told him not to get long with Yoon Ji-Won and her family. He’s angry to leave. Seok Ji-Won chases his father to the car. His father threatens him that he will deal with Yoon Ji-Won and her grandfather if he insists on living at the girl’s house.
Seok Ji-Won is unhappy to return to the school. He finds out that Ji-Hye is still in the office. She takes out Yoon Ji-Won’s cell phone from her bag. She approaches Yoon Ji-Won’s desk. She’s startled by Seok Ji-Won who appears suddenly.
The cell phone falls to the floor. Seok Ji-Won knows what happened. Ji-Hye asks him to pretend not to see it. So she can return the cell phone to the owner. He reminds her that Yoon Ji-Won is her friend. He thinks she shouldn’t hurt her friend.
But she points out that the one who hurt Yoon Ji-Won was him. She mentions the two families hate each other. But he chose to go out with Yoon Ji-Won. She thinks Yoon Ji-Won will be hurt in the end. He minds her words. He returns home and he stays outside Yoon Ji-Won’s room. She sighs when she lies in her bed.
The next day, Yoon Ji-Won comes to the lilac. Ji-Hye passes by. She reminds Yoon Ji-Won that she can reject Seok Ji-Won if she doesn’t wish to be tangled. But Yoon Ji-Won is in tears. She actually cannot push Seok Ji-Won away. Because she likes the man.
Seok Ji-Won asked Yoon Ji-Won to get together with him when they were 18 years old. He didn’t care for anything. Yoon Ji-Won likes the pure Seok Ji-Won. He appeared again. He waked her love. She’s destined to fall for him no matter what happens.
Yoon Ji-Won confirms her feelings. She’s not happy everyday. Moon-Soo cares for her. He wishes her not to be hurt. She returns to her room. She takes the tissue to wipe off her tears. She opens her computer and she sees the messages Seok Ji-Won sent to her.
She runs to his office. But he’s not in the office. She returns to her office. She notes the cell phone on the floor. Meanwhile, Seok Ji-Won tells Jae-Ho that he and Yoon Ji-Won made a bet on dating. Jae-Ho is angry to ask Seok Ji-Won to move out.

Seok Ji-Won tries to leave. But his cell phone falls to the floor. He tries to pick up his cell phone. But he notices the letter from under the couch. Yoon Ji-Won wrote in the letter that she hates the Seok Ji-Won who didn’t say anything to her when he was separated from her. She wishes him to live in the misfortune forever. She says that she will accept him without any hesitating even if he appears in front of her with the misfortune.

Seok Ji-Won is moved to run to the school. He finds Yoon Ji-Won from under the lilac. He offers to end the stupid bet. He asks her to go out with him. She tears up after she heard what he said.
