Hyun-Sook meets Jun-Ho in her office in The Ordinary Jackpot episode 3. She asks him what he thinks about the personnel changes. She knows he doesn’t really not mind. He says he really doesn’t mind. She asks him how does he get along with Eun-Tae? Are they close? He says he should call Eun-Tae team leader. They get along well. She asks him can he work under the guy? He figures she wants to send him to Sales Team 5. She asks him does he not want to work under the team leader who’s younger than him?

Jun-Ho says it’s not only related to him. He thinks Eun-Tae will feel uneasy as well. Hyun-Sook tells him that she’s asking him about what he thinks. Doesn’t he want a transfer? He says he prefers to stay in the original team. She says she’s polite to ask him to go to Team 5. Why does he force her to give an order? He apologizes to her. He will be transferred. He mentions she thought he and Eun-Tae don’t get along. She tells him that she wouldn’t send him to the team if she thinks they don’t get along. They don’t know they work really well together.
At the cafe, Cafe Owner Oh asks Eun-Tae doesn’t he ever get tired of it? He drinks the same coffee at the same time every day. Eun-Tae says every day feels different. Although he’s not an expert, the aroma of coffee varies slightly from day to day. So he looks forward to it every day.
Eun-Tae arrives at the office. He sees Jun-Ho. He finds out that Gi-Tae came so early. Jun-Ho greets Eun-Tae. Eun-Tae asks Ji-Hye to confirm the meeting room where they and Laknes are going to hold their meeting. He wishes they will have enough time. She says she has resolved it. Because Jun-Ho told her that Eun-Tae might need a little more time. Eun-Tae asks Gi-Tae to print the Revenue Report of the company. But Gi-Tae has done it.
Jun-Ho reports it to Eun-Tae that he has asked Gi-Tae to do that. He gives him the list of their brands. It will be helpful to the next meeting. Eun-Tae asks Ji-Hye to apply for two visitor passes. He figures Jun-Ho has applied. Jun-Ho asks Ji-Hye to go to take the passes. He gives a bag of Stomach-Protecting Health Supplement to Eun-Tae. He asks him to eat it right now.
Eun-Tae eats the supplement. He smiles. He thinks he should have take action early. Jun-Ho asks Eun-Tae does he like the supplement?
Kyung-Chul breaks into the office when Eun-Tae and Jun-Ho are having meeting. Eun-Tae tells Kyung-Chul that they’re preparing for the meeting with Laknes. Kyung-Chul asks Eun-Tae about the plan. They only need to get the signature. Why they prepare? Jun-Ho explains it to Kyung-Chul that they want to let those guys see how strong they are. Show what their work looks like. Kyung-Chul asks the two not to waste time. Just go ahead and sign the contract.
He asks Eun-Tae has he finished organizing the other brands? Eun-Tae says he will take care of it as soon as possible. Kyung-Chul asks Eun-Tae why is he taking so long? He asks him to wrap it up quickly.
Outside the company, Joo-Hee asks Jung-Hyun was Team 4 asked to transfer any brand? He says they’re all in too deep to help anyone else. They have nothing to give. She reveals Sun-A asked does Team 4 agree to transfer brands? He asks her is there anything their group needs to provide to her group? She says she’s just curious as to why such rumors were circulating. He tells her that Sun-A takes Team 1’s side. She thinks Hyun-Sik will be promoted. He persuades her not to get them involved in the office fight. But she doesn’t understand it. He asks her how did she join the company? She says she passed the entrance exam.
In Hyun-Sook’s office, Kyung-Chul reports to Hyun-Sook that Laknes’s meeting is going to begin. He wishes the brand can be promoted by them. He thinks Jun-Ho and Eun-Tae will make up after they fought. She tells him that the deal benefits the company. But she’s not sure will it benefit him as well?
The people of Laknes, Mr. Kim and Sakamoto arrive at Hongsung International. They have meeting with Jun-Ho and Eun-Tae. Eun-Tae asks 75 percent profit margin. Mr. Kim rejects it. Jun-Ho and Eun-Tae send Mr. Kim and Sakamoto off. Gi-Tae and Ji-Hye follow them into the elevator. Jun-Ho offers to go to have a drink. But he doesn’t tell Gi-Tae and Ji-Hye if they signed it.
In Hyun-Sook’s office, Hyun-Sook reads the contract. She finds out that Eun-Tae helped the company earn 5 percent profit margin. She praises him. He says they made it because she let them go ahead and do it. Jun-Ho deserves a great deal of credit. Hyun-Sook thinks Eun-Tae should go to have a party with his colleagues. She gives her card to him. She asks him does he decide which brands to give Team 1? He says he won’t give any of them away.
She thinks he’s way too ambitious. She reminds him that they’re short-staffed. He says he will be very grateful if she gives him more people. She asks him can they handle it? He says they can do it. They have already assigned the tasks.
Eun-Tae calls Gi-Tae and Ji-Hye downstairs. The two give him the papers of the brands in all teams. Jun-Ho worries about it. Because Kyung-Chul wasn’t happy. Eun-Tae says they cannot turn back, and they have no choice.
Hyun-Sook has meeting with all the team leaders. She reveals Team 5 took on the brand that nobody wants. They signed the contract that benefits them. She gets the team leaders to applaud for Eun-Tae. They planned to let Team 5 give some brands to Team 1. But Eun-Tae changed mind. He plans to keep it all. She summoned the team leaders to praise the guy. She asks Eun-Tae what is his reason?
He says it’s the goal that their teams were formed. Team 1 is core team. It’s in charge of 30 percent sales. He shouldn’t let the brands that have just turned a profit add to their burden. He wishes his team can take care of itself business.
Hyun-Sook asks Jun-Ho what he thinks. He says he really admires Eun-Tae. He doesn’t expect the youngest team leader would have that thought. She asks him doesn’t he feel ashamed? She asks Hyun-Sik what he thinks. He says he feels ashamed very much. She heard that Sun-A is forcing other teams to hand over their brands. She scolds Seon-Hyuk for doing nothing when others climb up.
She thinks those guys know why Laknes was given to Team 5. Why Team 5 needs to give the brands to Team 1. Who will be promoted. They’re all playing their own games. They think they’re very smart. She asks Kyung-Chul to send an employee to Team 5. She tells the people that they should let themselves be useful. Don’t just play mind games. Do some practical work.
Hyun-Sook leaves the meeting room. Kyung-Chul asks everyone to get out except Eun-Tae. Seon-Hyuk returns to the office. Jun-Ho asks Seon-Hyuk about the team leader of their team. Seon-Hyuk says the guy needs some time to clean up the mess he made.
In the meeting room, Kyung-Chul asks Eun-Tae why he did that. Why didn’t he listen to his order? Eun-Tae claims he did as he was told. He took on Laknes, and he listed the brands that he needs to give to Team 1. But he thinks he can resolve it with an extra team member. Cannot he even make this small request? Kyung-Chul asks Eun-Tae doesn’t he know his place after he became team leader? Eun-Tae says he knows the duty of the job after he became team leader.
Kyung-Chul tells Eun-Tae that he should go to start a business if he cannot follow orders. Eun-Tae points out that Kyung-Chul doesn’t own the company. He mentions his first year at the company. He took him to Paris to sign a contract. Kyung-Chul worked in Paris for one month. Because he was the youngest team leader like Eun-Tae. He didn’t wish his team members would work too hard.
Kyung-Chul reminds Eun-Tae that the company is a group. Laknes is a way that he expresses he will promote him. He just needs to be very obedient and support him. Eun-Tae tells Kyung-Chul that he was an outstanding team leader. He asks him cannot he become a team leader like him? Kyung-Chul figures Eun-Tae did so because he won the lottery.
Eun-Tae runs into Kyung-Chul at the elevator. Kyung-Chul thinks Eun-Tae is too cunning. They run into Jun-Ho, Gi-Tae and Ji-Hye in the lobby. Kyung-Chul asks the three did they worry that he would kill their team leader? Jun-Ho denies it. He says they’re going to go out to dinner. Kyung-Chul gives his card to Eun-Tae. He tells him that he wants to buy the second meal. He tells Jun-Ho that Eun-Tae likes beef very much. He asks him to take Eun-Tae to go to eat beef. Eun-Tae gives the card to Jun-Ho. Kyung-Chul tells Eun-Tae that Laknes will do very well. Otherwise, he wouldn’t give it to him.

At the restaurant, Eun-Tae and his team members eat beef. They’re very happy. Jun-Ho tells Eun-Tae that he’s very grateful to Kyung-Chul. Eun-Tae says Kyung-Chul knows when to use the carrot and the stick. He doesn’t hate the guy even if he scolded him. His praise means nothing to him. He doesn’t trust people that much. He won’t be swayed by a few words. Jun-Ho asks Eun-Tae what does he believe in? Eun-Tae says he believes in the life he lived.
Eun-Tae gets a call from Hae-Joo. She knows Hyang-Eun is going to join his team. She tells him that Hyang-Eun is a bad girl. Hyang-Eun walks out of the airport. Gi-Tae imitates Eun-Tae in the meeting room. He’s caught by Eun-Tae, Jun-Ho and Ji-Hye. Gi-Tae is so embarrassed.
